Abstract

This study investigates the interaction dynamics between Indonesian millennials and digital media platforms, particularly within the political context. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, surveys were conducted among individuals aged 15 to 18, complemented by focus group discussions. The study examined their comprehension of digital media, content consumption preferences, and proficiency in digital literacy, with data analyzed using Excel 2021. The findings indicate that Indonesian millennials possess a profound understanding of digital media, exhibiting a strong preference for entertainment-oriented content such as movies, text messages, and digital videos. Concurrently, they continue to engage with political news via online media platforms and television broadcasts. The study also reveals a high level of awareness among millennials regarding the significance of digital literacy, reflecting their adeptness in critically evaluating and validating information sources. These outcomes provide significant insights into millennials' potential contributions to digital politics, underscoring their status as engaged citizens in the digital.

Abstract

Social awareness is an individual's ability to understand and respond positively to social situations. In the context of education, instilling social awareness in students is very important because it can form the best generation in the future. This research aims to find out how religious education at Syahida Vocational School instills awareness social among students. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with purposive sampling to select research subjects. Data was collected through interviews, documentation and observation, with research subjects consisting of school principals, student affairs, religious education teachers and students. Data analysis techniques include collecting, reducing, presenting and verifying data. The results of the research show that religious education at Syahida Vocational School has succeeded in instilling social awareness in students, which can be seen from changes in students' attitudes to become more empathetic, tolerant, caring, communicative, responsible and sensitive. This is verified through a data assessment rubric which includes the results of observations, interviews and documentation. The conclusion of this research is that religious education has a very large role in increasing students' social awareness.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to examine the implementation of Islamic values ​​education in moral learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Hidayah Pangkalan, Tasikmalaya. Islamic values ​​education is an integral part in forming students' character based on the teachings of the Islamic religion. This research aims to examine the implementation of Islamic values education in moral learning at Madrasah Iibtidaiyah Al-Hidayah Pangkalan Tasikmalaya. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research focuses on the process and effectiveness of implementing Islamic values, such as honesty, responsibility, courtesy and tolerance in forming student character. Data was collected through observation, interviews with teachers and students, as well as documentation of school activities. The results of the research show that Islamic values education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Hidayah has succeeded in forming students' Islamic character through the integration of these values in moral learning. Teachers act as role models, and daily activities such as group prayer, congregational prayers, and community service familiarize students with applying moral values in everyday life. The application of these values has a positive impact, both at school and in the family environment, which is marked by increased attitudes of discipline, responsibility and mutual respect among students. The conclusion of this research is that the implementation of Islamic values education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Hidayah is effective in forming the character of students who have noble morals and are ready to practice Islamic values in life. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi pendidikan nilai-nilai Islam dalam pembelajaran akhlak di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Hidayah Pangkalan, Tasikmalaya. Pendidikan nilai-nilai Islam merupakan bagian integral dalam pembentukan karakter siswa yang berlandaskan pada ajaran agama Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi pendidikan nilai-nilai Islam dalam pembelajaran akhlak di MI Al-Hidayah Pangkalan Tasikmalaya. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini berfokus pada proses dan efektivitas penerapan nilai-nilai Islam, seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, sopan santun, dan toleransi dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan guru dan murid, serta dokumentasi kegiatan sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan nilai-nilai Islam di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Hidayah berhasil membentuk karakter islami siswa melalui integrasi nilai-nilai tersebut dalam pembelajaran akhlak. Guru berperan sebagai teladan, dan kegiatan sehari-hari seperti doa bersama, salat berjamaah, dan kerja bakti membiasakan siswa menerapkan nilai-nilai akhlak dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penerapan nilai-nilai ini berdampak positif, baik di sekolah maupun di lingkungan keluarga, yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya sikap disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan saling menghargai di kalangan siswa. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa implementasi pendidikan nilai-nilai Islam di MI Al-Hidayah efektif dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang berakhlak mulia dan siap mengamalkan nilai-nilai islami dalam kehidupan.

Abstract

The integration of technology in education in the era of Society 5.0, by highlighting the challenges and opportunities faced by educators and students. Educators are required to not only master the teaching material, but also be able to adapt to technological developments to increase learning effectiveness. Various digital platforms, such as Quizziz and Google Forms, can be leveraged in learning evaluation, while artificial intelligence (AI) needs to be used to ensure the accuracy of information. In addition, social media has great potential as an educational tool, where teachers can take advantage of digital trends to build students' critical thinking and instill awareness of the importance of information verification. In the context of Islamic education, the integration between religious science and science is a challenge that needs to be overcome in order to create a holistic education. The takhrij method in hadith discourse can be used as a model in verifying information spread on the internet, so that students can be more selective in receiving information. More broadly, Society 5.0 has the potential to create a super smart society by utilizing technological innovations to improve the quality of education. With a learning approach that combines technology and Islamic educational values, it is hoped that the education system can produce students who are not only academically intelligent, but also have a strong character and are responsible in the use of technology. Through this strategy, education can be the main instrument in building an adaptive, innovative, and ethical society in facing the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the role of Islamic education in instilling national values. Amidst the challenges of globalization and rapid social change, national identity is often under pressure. Islamic education has a strategic role in instilling national values ​​such as love of the homeland, tolerance, justice, and social solidarity to the younger generation. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with research subjects selected by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects include religious teachers, religious activity instructors, Islamic organization administrators, and students. The results of the study indicate that Islamic education plays an important role in shaping national awareness in the younger generation. Islamic values ​​that emphasize unity, peace, and justice are in line with the spirit of nationalism carried by the Indonesian nation. Data from observations, interviews, and documentation show that students who are active in religious activities and Islamic learning have a stronger sense of nationalism. The conclusion of this study confirms that a holistic Islamic education approach is very effective in instilling national values. Through the integration of spiritual, moral, and social values ​​in the education process, it is hoped that the younger generation will not only have strong faith but also a high sense of nationalism.

Abstract

Ketimpangan dalam skema pendanaan pendidikan antara sekolah negeri dan swasta di Jawa Barat menjadi permasalahan struktural yang terus berulang. Sekolah negeri menerima Bantuan Operasional Pendidikan Daerah (BOPD) secara rutin dan berkelanjutan, sementara sekolah swasta harus mengakses dana melalui mekanisme hibah tahunan Bantuan Pendidikan Menengah Universal (BPMU) yang bersifat tidak pasti dan birokratis. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis urgensi reformasi kebijakan pendanaan melalui transformasi BPMU–BOPD menjadi Bantuan Operasional Sekolah Daerah (BOSDA) sebagai solusi yang adil dan integratif.Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi dokumen kebijakan, wawancara tokoh pendidikan, serta analisis terhadap surat edaran dan praktik pencairan dana tahun anggaran 2025. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa dualisme skema pendanaan tidak hanya menciptakan ketimpangan fiskal, tetapi juga berdampak langsung terhadap perencanaan, operasional sekolah, dan persepsi kelembagaan. BOSDA diusulkan sebagai model pendanaan tunggal yang berbasis keadilan, dengan landasan hukum yang kuat serta dukungan luas dari pemangku kepentingan pendidikan. Simpulan dari studi ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan BOSDA sangat ditentukan oleh adanya political will dari pemerintah daerah. Implikasinya, reformasi kebijakan ini menuntut komitmen fiskal yang berkelanjutan serta kesetaraan perlakuan terhadap seluruh satuan pendidikan, tanpa diskriminasi status kelembagaan.
