Abstract

Kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia diwarnai oleh keberagaman yang rentan terjadinya konflik, persaingan, dan ketegangan antar masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan interpretasi ayat Al-Qur’an pada surah Al-Alaq bagi implikasi kehidupan kontemporer masyarakat Indonesia. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan menerapkan metode double movement Fazlur Rahman dan interpretasi hermeneutika. Hasil pembahasan penelitian ini memaparkan interpretasi hermenutika double movement Fazlur Rahman yang mencakup dua gerak utama. Gerak pertama berupa historisitas Al-Qur’an Surat Al-Alaq dimana latar belakang ayat 1-5 menunjukkan respon Al-Qur’an terhadap keadaan masyarakat Mekah dengan realitas kejahatan, ateis, kesesatan, dan fanatisme, dan ayat 6-19 merupakan respon terhadap kabilah Abu Jahal dan kaum kafir Quraish yang menolak dakwah Nabi, ingkar, dan zalim serta gambaran tentang kabilah Nabi Muhammad yang taat, tabah, dan beriman kepada Allah. Gerak kedua berupa kontekstualisasi surah Al-Alaq yang menghasilkan lima aspek nilai ideal moral, yaitu nilai kesetaraan manusia, nilai kerendahan hati atas pengetahuan, nilai menghormati serta mencintai kerukunan, nilai kesabaran dan keikhlasan, dan nilai ketundukan dan kepatuhan kepada Allah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa menurut metode double movement Fazlur Rahman melalui interpretasi hermeneutika yang menjadi nilai inti Surah Al-Alaq terletak pada ayat terakhir yaitu istiqamah dalam bersujud dan mendekatkan diri kepada Allah. Jika nilai ideal moral surah Al-Alaq diterapkan pada masyarakat kontemporer di Indonesia, maka jadilah sebuah masyarakat yang berilmu, beriman, dan berahklak mulia yang menciptakan negara tangguh dan makmur dengan nilai spiritual yang tinggi.

Abstract

Quality is a very important thing to be implemented in educational institutions, including Islamic educational institutions. One of the efforts to maintain the quality of education is to implement a management system based on the IASP 2020. In Islamic education institutions based on Islamic boarding schools such as MI, MTs and MA, the implementation of IASP 2020 has not been maximized, therefore it is necessary to provide assistance in implementing it. This is the background of this dedication. The purpose of service is to provide a deep understanding to MI educators and education staff. MTs and MA which are under the auspices of YPI Al-Qonaah Cikajang, Garut Regency. The method used is by using the workshop method where participants are actively involved in filling out the IASP 2020 and conducting follow-up programs. The service activity was attended by educators and education staff at YPI Al-Qonaah Cikajang Garut, the activity went smoothly and asked for follow-up on these activities.

Abstract

This study investigates the interaction dynamics between Indonesian millennials and digital media platforms, particularly within the political context. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, surveys were conducted among individuals aged 15 to 18, complemented by focus group discussions. The study examined their comprehension of digital media, content consumption preferences, and proficiency in digital literacy, with data analyzed using Excel 2021. The findings indicate that Indonesian millennials possess a profound understanding of digital media, exhibiting a strong preference for entertainment-oriented content such as movies, text messages, and digital videos. Concurrently, they continue to engage with political news via online media platforms and television broadcasts. The study also reveals a high level of awareness among millennials regarding the significance of digital literacy, reflecting their adeptness in critically evaluating and validating information sources. These outcomes provide significant insights into millennials' potential contributions to digital politics, underscoring their status as engaged citizens in the digital.

Abstract

Building discipline through Islamic character education does not just regulate external behavior, but also strengthens internal values and principles that encourage individuals towards strong discipline, high morality and complete responsibility. The aim of this research is to review the role of Islamic Character Education in fostering discipline at the Syahida Vocational High School (SMK). The research method used was descriptive qualitative with the selection of research subjects using purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, with research subjects including school principals, student affairs staff, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and students. Data analysis is carried out through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data display and verification. The results of the research show that the development of discipline through Islamic character education at Syahida Vocational School is reflected in the high level of student discipline, which is reflected in various activities such as prayer before and after studying, celebrating religious holidays, and congregational prayers in the school environment. This success was verified through a data assessment rubric which included observation, interviews and documentation, showing that Islamic character education is able to form students who have discipline. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that fostering discipline through Islamic character education is very effective in forming students with noble and responsible morals.

Abstract

Abstract: The main objective of this research is to identify and understand the relationship between learning motivation and student academic achievement. In order to achieve this goal, this research uses a quantitative analysis methodology based on inferential statistical models. This approach includes the use of regression and Pearson product moment correlation analysis to analyze the data obtained. This research is based on theoretical studies which state that there is a significant relationship between students' learning motivation and their academic achievement. By using regression techniques, researchers can identify the extent to which learning motivation variables influence student achievement. Meanwhile, Pearson product moment correlation analysis allows researchers to determine the strength and direction of the relationship between the two variables. Thus, this research not only aims to prove the existence of a relationship between learning motivation and student achievement, but also to understand the extent to which learning motivation can be a determining factor in improving student academic achievement. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide deeper insight for educators, policy makers and other related parties in an effort to improve the quality of education through increasing student learning motivation.

Abstract

Social awareness is an individual's ability to understand and respond positively to social situations. In the context of education, instilling social awareness in students is very important because it can form the best generation in the future. This research aims to find out how religious education at Syahida Vocational School instills awareness social among students. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with purposive sampling to select research subjects. Data was collected through interviews, documentation and observation, with research subjects consisting of school principals, student affairs, religious education teachers and students. Data analysis techniques include collecting, reducing, presenting and verifying data. The results of the research show that religious education at Syahida Vocational School has succeeded in instilling social awareness in students, which can be seen from changes in students' attitudes to become more empathetic, tolerant, caring, communicative, responsible and sensitive. This is verified through a data assessment rubric which includes the results of observations, interviews and documentation. The conclusion of this research is that religious education has a very large role in increasing students' social awareness.

Abstract

Character education has a crucial role in basic education as an effort to build a generation that is intellectually intelligent and has noble character. This study aims to analyze the contribution of the Tahfidz program in building the character and spiritual values of students in MIN 01 Bandung City. A descriptive qualitative approach is used to explore experiences, views, and practices in the implementation of the Tahfidz program involving 5th grade students, teachers, and parents. The results of the study show that the Tahfidz program has a positive impact on student discipline, honesty, responsibility, and cooperation. The on-time attendance rate of students increased from 60% to 85% after the program was running, while the habit of self-reliance at home increased from 30% to 70%. In addition, group activities such as the Sima'an method help build student honesty and responsibility, where 90% of students carry out group tasks honestly and objectively. The cooperation created in the group also strengthens solidarity, where 80% of students actively help friends who are experiencing difficulties. This program has succeeded in instilling discipline and an orderly lifestyle and forming solid moral and spiritual values. This study recommends the integration of the Tahfidz program into the formal education system as an effort to build a young generation with high character and integrity.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between the use of Edulearning and the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Ethics in grade VIII students at Mekar Arum Junior High School. The background of the research is based on the increasing role of technology in education, although its implementation often faces obstacles, such as teachers' lack of understanding of technology and limited access by students. Using a qualitative approach and correlational methods, this study involved 206 students as subjects. The data shows that the average use of Edulearning is at a score of 3.8 (scale 1-5), with an average learning outcome of 78.5 (scale 0-100). The majority of students achieved the "Good" (46.6%) and "Very Good" (22.3%) learning outcome categories, indicating the effectiveness of Edulearning in supporting learning. However, this effectiveness is influenced by factors such as student motivation, access to technology, and teachers' skills in utilizing platform features. The conclusion of the study emphasizes the need to optimize Edulearning through teacher training, equitable distribution of technology facilities, and value-based learning strategies to improve academic learning achievement and student character building.

Abstract

The integration of technology in education in the era of Society 5.0, by highlighting the challenges and opportunities faced by educators and students. Educators are required to not only master the teaching material, but also be able to adapt to technological developments to increase learning effectiveness. Various digital platforms, such as Quizziz and Google Forms, can be leveraged in learning evaluation, while artificial intelligence (AI) needs to be used to ensure the accuracy of information. In addition, social media has great potential as an educational tool, where teachers can take advantage of digital trends to build students' critical thinking and instill awareness of the importance of information verification. In the context of Islamic education, the integration between religious science and science is a challenge that needs to be overcome in order to create a holistic education. The takhrij method in hadith discourse can be used as a model in verifying information spread on the internet, so that students can be more selective in receiving information. More broadly, Society 5.0 has the potential to create a super smart society by utilizing technological innovations to improve the quality of education. With a learning approach that combines technology and Islamic educational values, it is hoped that the education system can produce students who are not only academically intelligent, but also have a strong character and are responsible in the use of technology. Through this strategy, education can be the main instrument in building an adaptive, innovative, and ethical society in facing the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the role of Islamic education in instilling national values. Amidst the challenges of globalization and rapid social change, national identity is often under pressure. Islamic education has a strategic role in instilling national values ​​such as love of the homeland, tolerance, justice, and social solidarity to the younger generation. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with research subjects selected by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects include religious teachers, religious activity instructors, Islamic organization administrators, and students. The results of the study indicate that Islamic education plays an important role in shaping national awareness in the younger generation. Islamic values ​​that emphasize unity, peace, and justice are in line with the spirit of nationalism carried by the Indonesian nation. Data from observations, interviews, and documentation show that students who are active in religious activities and Islamic learning have a stronger sense of nationalism. The conclusion of this study confirms that a holistic Islamic education approach is very effective in instilling national values. Through the integration of spiritual, moral, and social values ​​in the education process, it is hoped that the younger generation will not only have strong faith but also a high sense of nationalism.
