Abstract

This study aims to examine the problems that arise in liturgical music. Liturgical music is an inseparable part of the liturgy. Its role is very central in the liturgy. However, there are still many devotees and liturgical practitioners who do not understand the function of liturgical music. This problem will be answered in this study. This research uses the literature review method. The study used a publish or perish application to search for keywords about liturgical music. The results showed that there are several solutions that can be done to overcome the problem of liturgical music. Optimizing liturgical music centers, inculturation of liturgical music in accordance with liturgical rules, rules on renewal in the liturgy, and formation for liturgical music actors such as the faithful, priests, choir members, musicians and observers of liturgical music are ways that can be done to overcome liturgical music problems.

Abstract

Ministry in the church has evolved since the first time the church was founded. This service brings benefits to many people. But the problem is that the church only stops at ministry. There has been no effort to empower those served. Though there are three forms of diakonia are charitative, reformative and transformative. The purpose of this study is to find the form of church service to people with disabilities. The method used is literature review or library research. The result is that there are several ways to provide services to people with disabilities. These include shouting, men-women cooperation, social media campaigns and filmmaking. The conclusion of the study is that reformative and transformative diakonia can be used to help people with disabilities.

Abstract

Religion and science can be combined. Even though in the course of time, the two have been at odds with each other. One of the things that can be combined is humanistic psychology and liturgy. Humanistic psychology can support service to the people in the liturgy. However, not all parties are aware of this. One of them is the liturgical ministers at Maria Ratu Damai Purworejo Parish have not realized and practiced humanistic psychology in their ministry. The purpose of this PkM activity is to introduce the field of humanistic psychology to liturgical ministers. The methods used are socialization and guidance. The result of PkM activities is that the liturgical ministers know humanistic psychology. Liturgy is a form of self-actualization. Liturgical ministers can also humanize people in the liturgy. In addition, the Catholic family must have social cohesion in the liturgy. This cohesion will provide encouragement to litrgui servants. The conclusion of PkM activities is that humanistic psychology can be used in liturgy. Science and religion can be combined for ministry activities.

Abstract

Church and science have been at odds. The Church accuses science and vice versa. This opposition began to disappear when some figures reconciled this opposition. Science and religion are collaborated to achieve one particular goal. One of the figures who elaborated on the two is Father Janssen. The purpose of this study is to examine Father Janssen's pastoral relationship with humanistic psychology. Research using the library research method. The results showed that Father Jannsen applied humanistic psychology in his pastoral practice, especially in the field of education dan foundations established. The conclusion of the study is that the field of psychology that Father Janssen specializes in is practiced in his pastoral.

Abstract

Praktek mengajar merupakan bagian dari proses belajar mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Keagamaan Katolik. Mereka belajar mengelola, memimpin dan mengajar kelas. Masalah yang muncul ialah terkadang mereka tidak mempunyai pengetahuan terutama tentang kepemimpinan. Tujuan dari kegiatan PkM ialah membimbing mahasiswa agar mampu mempraktekkan kemimpinanan. Metode yang digunakan ialah observasi, bimbingan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pada bagian awal, mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan dalam mengelola kelas. Kegiatan bimbingan membantu mereka untuk mengetahui tentang pola kepemimpinan di kelas. Refleksi pembelajaran menunjukkan dinamika mahasiswa. Mereka akhirnya belajar untuk mempraktekkan salah satu bentuk kepemimpinan Yesus. Kesimpulan kegiatan PkM ialah kepemimpinan merupakan soft skill yang dibutuhkan mahasiswa untuk mengajar.

Abstract

Disabilities are a term used to replace the term 'disabled'. One of the figures who pays great attention to people with disabilities is Pope Francis. However, the term disability is not yet popular in Indonesia. They are still often discarded and classifiedas weak and marginalized. The purpose of this study is to see Pope Francis' concern for people with disabilities to be a pastoral basis. The research method used is a literature review. The results of the study show that Pope Francis pays special attention to people with disabilities. The pope noted the injustices and rejection that they experienced. The Pope also pays attention to the dignity of disability. The papal documents mention people with disabilities directly. The conclusion of the study is that Pope Francis' concern for people with disabilities can be a pastoral guidance for the Catholic Church in Indonesia
