Abstract

This study aims to examine the policy of the free campus program from sexual violence in Indonesian universities. The method used is a qualitative method with a literature study approach. The data sources obtained from this paper are journals, books, articles, and other documents that have relevance to the object under study. The author conducts content analysis of the data critically referring to Pancasila and the Law so as to obtain a conclusion. The result of this study is that the independent campus policy on sexual violence has a problem in policy making, because there are articles that seem to legalize adultery. The impact of sexual violence on victims of sexual violence can experience psychological disorders, emotional disorders, behavioral disorders, or cognitive disorders are possible manifestations of this condition. The emotional disturbance in question adversely affects mood and is an unstable emotion. The victim's behavior can then develop into additional negative habits, including extreme lethargy, which is a sign of behavioral problems.

Abstract

During rampant issues of radicalism and religious fanaticism reported in various newspapers and social media, the presence of young people is needed to become agents of moderation and tolerance. This study aims to understand the role of Muslim and Catholic youth in creating a moderate and tolerant society. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Research location: Kenteng Hamlet, Kembang Village, Kapanewon Nanggulan, Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region Province. Data collection techniques were conducted by interview, observation, and documentation. This research resulted in the following findings, namely: 1) The values of moderation and tolerance applied in the community can be indicated through several things, namely the willingness to accept differences, prioritize communication and dialogue, and others. 2) The role of Muslim and Catholic youth in creating a moderate and tolerant society is done through several approaches, namely: religious approach; sports approach; and social approach.

Abstract

Abstract: This research analyzes the role of the Baiturrahman Mosque in Ngronggi, Ngawi, as the center of Muslim civilization. The study employs qualitative methods using a case study approach. Data collection techniques include interviews and documentation. Data analysis is conducted using the Miles and Huberman method. The results of the study reveal that the Baiturrahman Mosque serves as a starting point for the development of community civilization. This is evident in initiatives such as the establishment of schools and Religious Affairs Offices around the mosque, as well as efforts to foster young people by involving them as officers and committee members in PHBI (Islamic holiday celebration) events. In addition to these programs, the Baiturrahman Mosque also runs a da'wah institution called majelis taklim. This majelis taklim not only provides guidance, education, and direction but also represents a new hope for enhancing the community's intelligence and enlightenment, particularly in religious and social aspects.Abstrak: Penelitian ini menganalisis peran Masjid Baiturrahman di Ngronggi, Ngawi, sebagai pusat peradaban umat Muslim. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Masjid Baiturrahman berfungsi sebagai titik awal pengembangan peradaban masyarakat. Hal ini terlihat dari inisiatif seperti pendirian sekolah dan Kantor Urusan Agama di sekitar masjid, serta upaya membina generasi muda dengan melibatkan mereka sebagai petugas dan anggota panitia dalam acara PHBI (Perayaan Hari Besar Islam). Selain program-program tersebut, Masjid Baiturrahman juga mengelola lembaga dakwah yang disebut majelis taklim. Majelis taklim ini tidak hanya memberikan bimbingan, pendidikan, dan arahan, tetapi juga menjadi harapan baru untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan dan pencerahan masyarakat, terutama dalam aspek keagamaan dan sosial.

Abstract

The issue of moral decline in the generation of the nation post-globalization, with its various life implications, calls for the development of an adaptive and inclusive concept in the field of education. This study aims to explore Ibn Miskawaih's ideas and their relevance in the context of Education 5.0. It is a qualitative study that uses a library research method, with primary sources including a book by Ibn Miskawaih and secondary sources consisting of various journal articles. Data were gathered from a range of books and articles, then analyzed through content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that Ibn Miskawaih, a prominent Islamic philosopher of the Buwayhi Dynasty during the Abbasid era, contributed significantly to the philosophy of human beings. He believed that humans consist of two essential components: the physical body and the soul, both of which are interconnected in shaping a 'wholesome human' with good morals. Ibn Miskawaih's ideas remain relevant to modern Islamic education, aligning with the educational goals outlined in the National Education System Law (UU Sidiknas) Article 1 of 2003. He argued that moral education should be rooted in the doctrine of moderation and carried out through habituation, where repeated actions eventually shape a child’s or learner’s character. Therefore, every individual has the potential to develop good morals through proper education and guidance.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the implementation and impact of the Madrasah Ramah Anak (MRA) concept on the disciplinary character of students. This study uses a qualitative approach of field research type. This research took place at MAN 1 Sleman. Data collection was conducted through interviews and purposive sampling techniques. The results showed that the MRA program has been implemented following Sekolah Ramah Anak's (SRA) component. They are child-friendly school policy, educators and education personnel trained in children's rights and SRA, child-friendly learning process, child-friendly facilities and infrastructure, and child participation. MRA provides significant changes by shifting rewards and punishments towards a more humanist approach. The implementation of MRA, which is based on Albert Bandura's modeling theory, allows students to imitate the behavior of educators and peers. This modeling involves all madrasah stakeholders. The positive impact is the application of the principle of justice and increased networking with external parties such as BKKBN and Puskesmas. Then, the negative impact is the weakening of students' disciplinary attitude because they seem to feel safe from punishment. The solutions include involving students in competitions and formulating rules-related class agreements. This research is expected to make a scientific contribution to the formation of disciplinary character, especially through the concept of MRA.

Abstract

The era of disruption has brought various impacts, including the world of education which is experiencing a multidimensional crisis and a moral crisis. Two important characteristics, namely religious attitude and discipline, slowly began to disappear in the personality of the nation's generation. Responding to this, the leadership of a school principal must have the courage to be faced with renewal and innovation, so that strengthening student character can still run optimally in the current era. This research uses a descriptive type with a qualitative approach which involves the Head of Madrasah 'Aliyah Negeri 1 Sleman as the research subject. Data were collected by researchers using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The purpose of this study was to determine the leadership style of the madrasa head in his efforts to revitalize students' religious-interdisciplinary values. The findings of this study include that the leadership style of the head of Madrasah 'Aliyah Negeri 1 Sleman applies democratic leadership, using a familial approach. The principle applied in leadership is zero-accident, in line with the leadership model in the era of disruption, namely responsible leadership where all elements are involved in advancing educational institutions. Some of the efforts and strategies of the head of Madrasah 'Aliyah Negeri 1 Sleman in revitalizing students' religious-interdisciplinary values ​​are the discipline of obligatory and sunnah prayers, muezzin scheduling, reading asma'ul husna, preacher training, class recitation, religious competitions, tabligh akbar, PPBN (Preliminary State Defense Education), reward and punishment-based Control Books, state commemoration ceremonies/calls, madrasa camps, LDK (Basic Leadership Training), and Activation of Organizational Activities. Furthermore, the inhibiting factors for the revitalization of students' religious-interdisciplinary values ​​by the head of the madrasa are environmental factors, peers, self-awareness, and lack of parental attention.
