Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berbicara melalui media gambar pada anak di TK Nurul Fadhilah Kabupaten Gowa. Jenis penelitian ini berupa penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap siklus terdapat tiga kali pertemuan. Prosedur penelitian meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok A TK Nurul Fadhilah, sebanyak 12 anak yang terdiri dari 6 anak laki-laki dan 6 anak perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan dokumentasi. Instrument penelitian yaitu lembar observasi yang berbentuk cheklist. Teknik analisis data analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berbicara anak meningkat. Hal ini dibuktikan berdasarkan pada pencapaian kemampuan berbicara anak pada indikator mengalami peningkatan secara bertahap pada tiap siklusnya. Pada siklus I pertemuan I hasilnya 31,94%, pertemuan II hasilnya 36,11% dan pertemuan III hasilnya 40,27% yang rata-rata anak berada pada kriteria mulai berkembang (MB). Sedangkan siklus II pertemuan I hasilnya 58,33%, pertemuan II hasilnya 76,38%, pertemuan III hasilnya 82,63% yang rata-rata anak berada pada kriteria berkembang sangat baik (BSB). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan media gambar dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif bagi guru TK Nurul Fadhilah untuk mengoptimalkan kemampuan berbicara anak.

Abstract

Instilling regional cultural literacy from an early age is an important foundation in shaping children’s identity and character. The Makassar area as a region rich in local cultural values faces challenges in conveying this cultural wealth to the younger generation, especially early childhood (AUD). This study aims to analyze the need for the development of Virtual Reality (VR)-based digital learning media to stimulate Makassar’s cultural literacy in AUD. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews with PAUD teachers, and questionnaires to parents of students in three PAUD institutions in Pallangga District, Gowa Regency. The results of the analysis showed that 87.5% of teachers stated the lack of interactive learning media that raised local cultural content, and 92.5% of parents stated that their children were more enthusiastic about digital-based learning. Meanwhile, 75% of respondents stated that they did not know the local culture in its entirety. VR-based media is considered to be able to provide an immersive, interactive, and fun learning experience for AUD. Literature studies show that VR media is effective in increasing children’s retention and participation in learning (Radianti et al., 2020). Therefore, the development of VR-based media that integrates elements of Makassar’s local culture such as traditional houses, traditional dances, traditional clothing, and traditional food is an innovative solution that is urgent to be developed. This study recommends the development of a prototype of VR media based on local content as a strategic effort in fostering cultural literacy from an early age.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the application of loose part media in improving numeracy literacy skills in children aged 5–6 years at TK Bukit Permai 2, Gowa Regency. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which includes planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 15 children from group B aged 5–6 years. Data collection techniques used observation and documentation, with data analysis carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that the use of loose part media significantly improved children's ability to recognize number symbols, form letters and numbers, and solve simple arithmetic operations. Therefore, loose part media is effectively used to develop early childhood numeracy literacy. The findings contribute valuable insights to curriculum development and emphasize the importance of play-based, meaningful learning in preparing children for future academic success

Abstract

The aim of this study was to develop a numeracy literacy test instrument based on the High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) for class VIII junior high school students. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model consists of five stages of development, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. A total of 15 questions have been prepared covering the material for straight line equations, functions, coordinate systems, linear equations of two variables and number patterns in odd semesters. The items were validated by three mathematicians, and the calculations were analyzed using the Aiken index. Furthermore, the questions that were declared valid were tested on 34 students in two junior high schools in Makassar City using convenience sampling as a sample selection technique. The experimental data are dichotomous. The data were analyzed using KR-20 to produce a reliability coefficient. This study resulted in a HOTS-based numeric literacy test instrument in the form of multiple choice with a total of 15 valid and reliable questions. 15 items have high category validity, while the reliability coefficient of the item is 0.91, or high category.

Abstract

Permasalahan prioritas dalam pengabdian pada masyarakat ini berfokus pada rendahnya budaya belajar bersama di kalangan pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) terutama dalam hal pembelajaran kolaboratif dan berkelanjutan. Meskipun pelatihan formal sering diadakan, beberapa pendidik masih merasa kesulitan untuk menerapkan pengetahuan baru dalam praktik sehari-hari akibat kurangnya dukungan berkelanjutan dan keterbatasan ruang untuk berbagi pengalaman. Oleh karena itu, sangat penting untuk dilakukan pembentukan komunitas belajar yang inklusif, berkelanjutan, dan berbasis kolaborasi sehingga dapat terwujud ekosistem pendidikan yang adaptif dan responsif terhadap perkembangan zaman. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membangun dan memperkuat budaya belajar bersama yang berkelanjutan melalui pembentukan komunitas belajar bagi pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan PAUD di Kabupaten Jeneponto. Metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian ini dimulai dari tahap persiapan dan identifikasi kebutuhan, pembentukan komunitas belajar, pendampingan, evaluasi dan apresiasi. Hasil dari pengabdian ini yakni telah terbentuknya 4 (empat) komunitas belajar, antara lain Kawan Cerdas, Kontu Tojeng, Assamaturu’, dan Cahaya Hati. Masing-masing komunitas belajar tersebut baranggotakan pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan PAUD yang sewilayah. Dampak pengiring dari kegiatan ini yakni meningkatnya kesadaran pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan PAUD tentang pentingnya kerja sama melalui kegiatan kolaborasi dan praktik langsung, dihasilkannya media pembelajaran digital berbasis aplikasi canva, dan peran aktif seluruh peserta selama kegiatan berlangsung yang diapresiasi dengan pemberian penghargaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi yang diterapkan oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran anak berkebutuhan khusus (autisme dan keterlambatan bicara) di TKIT Ummul Mu’minin Makassar. Fokus penelitian adalah memahami strategi yang digunakan guru dalam menciptakan kesiapan belajar, pemberian tugas dan penguatan, pengamatan perilaku anak, serta pemberian kesempatan untuk latihan mandiri guna memaksimalkan hasil belajar anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menggunakan berbagai strategi yang berfokus pada penciptaan lingkunganbelajar yang inklusif, personalisasi pembelajaran sesuai kebutuhan individu anak, serta pemberian penguatan positif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Proses pembelajaran anak berkebutuhan khusus dilakukan melalui interaksi yang konsisten, latihan bertahap, serta metode yang disesuaikan dengan kemampuanmasing-masing anak, sehingga mampu mendukung pencapaian hasil belajarsecara optimal. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan penting dalam pengembangan strategi pembelajaran inklusif di pendidikan anak usia dini.

Abstract

Fine motor skills are a crucial aspect of early childhood education, which is a prerequisite for learning readiness but often requires effective and applicable learning strategies. Therefore, this study aims to test and determine the magnitude of the effect of the implementation of hands-on activity (direct practice activities) on the fine motor development of early childhood children in Early Childhood Education SPAS. Al-Kautsar Bontobiraeng. This study is quantitative with a pre-experimental approach using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects consisted of 10 children in group B (aged 5–6 years). The main data collection technique was observation using a checklist sheet based on indicators of children's fine motor development. Data was analyzed using the non-parametric Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test due to sample limitations. The results of the study showed a significant increase in children's fine motor ability scores after the intervention. The average pretest score was 20.4, increasing to 32.4 in the posttest. The results of the statistical test showed an Asymp. Sig. value (2-tailed) of 0.000, which is less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). This finding indicates that there is a significant influence of the implementation of hands-on activity on the fine motor development of early childhood. This study provides a practical contribution: hands-on activity is proven to be effective in stimulating and improving children's fine motor skills through direct, fun, and meaningful learning experiences. These results can be a recommendation for early childhood education teachers to adopt direct practice activities in fine motor development stimulation programs.
