Abstract

This Daily Proficient English Speaking Training is a community service program which aims to provide English language learning for students. This activity was carried out by lecturers at STMIK Indonesia Banda Aceh. The activity carried out during the training was the presentation of basic English material using the Prezi presentation media. This service program is designed to train STMIK Indonesia Banda Aceh students to be able to communicate in English daily. With lecture-style training techniques and direct practice, community service activities run well, explaining the important parts of learning English and knowing how to overcome the obstacles faced when learning English.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and advancements in information technology, government agencies in Indonesia are required to adapt to technological developments to improve work effectiveness and efficiency. This research aims to design a web-based information system to support field monitoring at BPJN Sub-Field PPK 2.1 Aceh. The system is designed to meet user needs by providing features such as real-time data input, project progress monitoring, detailed reporting, and quick and accurate information access. The design and development method used is the Waterfall model, which includes a step-by-step process starting from requirement analysis, system design, program coding, program testing, and program implementation. The results of the study indicate that the designed web-based information system can enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of field monitoring. The new system shows significant improvements in data collection speed, data accuracy, work efficiency, and ease of data access. Testing using the black-box method shows that the system works well according to the designed functions. With the adoption of this information technology, BPJN Sub-Field PPK 2.1 Aceh is expected to improve operational efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance the quality of infrastructure project monitoring.

Abstract

Advances in digital technology have had a significant impact on human life, including in the field of education, which has undergone significant changes. Technological advances in education have given rise to various new innovations to support the learning process. Interactive learning media that are in line with current technological developments have a significant impact on learning systems, providing many benefits. However, problems can arise in any school where students feel bored during learning because the learning system is considered to be non-interactive and still uses print media. Therefore, the researcher developed a type of teaching material that can be used by students, namely a learning module for the IPAS subject. One of the digital modules referred to is Flipbook. The use of Flipbook is similar to the use of e-books, but the advantage of Flipbook is that it can be opened page by page like a book and can be accompanied by audio, text, and images, as well as other media such as Augmented Reality (AR). This research uses the ADDIE method, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation, but this research is limited to the Development stage only. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and validation tests with media experts and subject matter experts. The platform used to design the Flipbook is Canva, and the 3D Augmented Reality element is created using the Heyzine flipbook.Based on the assessments of media experts and subject matter experts, the results from media experts, namely lecturers and digital classroom teachers in IPAS subjects, were 94%, and the assessments from both subject matter experts, namely IPAS teachers at MIN 20 Aceh Besar were 92%. Therefore, it can be concluded that according to both aspects of the assessment, the Flipbook media is “Highly Suitable” for use by students in classroom learning.
