Abstract

UD. Udang Makmur is a shrimp farming business that often faces challenges in accurately predicting sales stock due to reliance on manual forecasting methods. This study aims to develop a web-based sales prediction application utilizing the AutoRegressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) method. The application uses daily sales data from January to December 2023 for analysis. The results indicate that the ARIMA (2,1,1) model delivers accurate predictions, achieving a Mean Squared Error (MSE) of 0.264295. Forecasts for the next 24 periods demonstrate a stable projection, with predicted values converging around 2.5 and a narrow 95% confidence interval. These findings highlight the model's reliability and low uncertainty for the forecasted time frame. The application was successfully tested using the Black-Box method, confirming its functionality and effectiveness in supporting sales predictions.

Abstract

Penerapan dalam penggunaan alat internet of things mengenai monitoring dan pengembangan pengukuran kadar kualitas iar garam ramah lingkungan pada masing-masing meja. Langkah penting dalam pemanfaatan teknologi untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan keberlanjutan produksi garam ramah lingkungan. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk mengedukasi para petani garam tentang pentingnya pemantauan berkelanjutan dengan internet of things dan penerapan IOT dalam melihat kadar air garam yang akan di produksi yang tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas, namun juga mengurangi dampak lingkungan. Adapun teknologi yang digunakan dalam proses ini meliputi perangkat pemantauan kualitas air, mengukur kualitas air garam dan kondisi air garam pada masing-masing meja secara real-time, serta penerapan metode produksi yang meminimalkan limbah dan menghemat energi ramah lingkungan. Hasil pengabdian ini diharapkan para petani garam mampu memahami pentingnya menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem dalam proses produksi dan mampu memanfaatkan teknologi IOT dalam monitoring kualitas air garam untuk meningkatkan efisiensi produksi garam. Selanjutnya diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam membangun kesadaran akan pentingnya produksi garam ramah lingkungan dan mendukung pembangunan ekonomi berkelanjutan.

Abstract

India's natural beauty and culture, which attract the attention of international tourists, are less able to increase tourist visits due to high crime cases. Tourists' fear of visiting the country has a direct impact on decreasing economic turnover, so the local economy has become very low. Predictions of criminal cases aim to provide an overview of cases that will occur in the next period, therefore the government can take appropriate policies to reduce crime cases. These predictions enable policymakers to plan strategic and data-based preventive measures. The method used is the Fuzzy Time Series Model Chen, because this method can overcome data uncertainty, and offers simplicity and ease in application. Valid and credible criminal statistics data in India is obtained from the site www.kaggle.com. A trusted platform that provides various quality datasets. This data will be used as a basis for the analysis and prediction of criminal cases in India. The results of this research show that in the range of 60 months from January 2020 to December 2024 using the Fuzzy Time Series Chen Model method to predict the number of criminal cases in India produced predictions in January 2025 with cases of 188.36 cases with a MAPE error ratio of 9.08% which is included in outstanding forecasting category.

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan inovasi siswa melalui pelatihan penulisan karya ilmiah yang sistematis dan terstruktur. Kegiatan ini meliputi pemberian pengetahuan dasar tentang proses penulisan ilmiah, teknik mengembangkan ide kreatif, serta mendampingi siswa dalam merancang dan menyusun karya ilmiah siswa. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pelatihan dan pendampingan penulisan karya ilmiah kepada siswa serta mengukur peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam menyusun karya ilmiah. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendampingan siswa. Melalui pelatihan ini, diharapkan siswa mampu menghasilkan karya ilmiah yang inovatif dan berkualitas tinggi, serta meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan analitis. Pendampingan membantu siswa dalam mengatasi hambatan selama proses penulisan dan memperkuat kemampuan siswa dalam mengemukakan ide-ide baru secara ilmiah. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan secara signifikan meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam merancang, menulis, dan menyusun karya ilmiah sesuai kaidah ilmiah yang berlaku. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan model pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis karya ilmiah siswa di tingkat sekolah menengah. Dengan demikian, program ini berkontribusi terhadap pembentukan generasi muda yang kreatif, inovatif, dan mampu bersaing secara akademik maupun inovatif di masa depan.

Abstract

Data security has become increasingly crucial in the modern digital era, where almost all types of information ranging from text, images, to audio are stored and exchanged in digital form through open networks. The rapid growth of internet-based communication makes data highly vulnerable to interception, modification, or misuse by unauthorized parties. Cryptography is one of the most effective solutions to address these challenges. Among the classical cryptographic techniques, the Hill Cipher remains relevant today because it is based on linear algebra and matrix transformations, which provide a strong mathematical foundation and can be adapted for modern computational implementation. In this study, a web-based application was developed using the Python Flask framework to implement the Hill Cipher algorithm. The application enables users to perform both encryption and decryption of text and images through an interactive interface. Users can input plaintext and key matrices, and the system processes the data to produce encrypted or decrypted outputs in real time. This design not only demonstrates the practicality of applying classical cryptographic concepts with contemporary web technologies but also serves as a valuable educational tool. The results show that the application performs effectively, producing accurate outputs, while also supporting user learning in understanding encryption–decryption processes and guiding efforts to secure digital information.

Abstract

Out-of-stock or excess inventory is a major challenge in retail supply chain management, especially in dynamic urban areas. This stock imbalance not only causes financial losses, but can also reduce customer satisfaction due to products being unavailable when needed. This study developed an artificial intelligence (AI)-based decision support system using the Random Forest algorithm to predict daily demand in retail stores. The model was trained using historical sales data that included various variables such as date, product category, and previous sales trends. After the training process, the model was implemented in the form of an interactive web application using Streamlit, which allows users to easily access the system through a browser without the need for special installation. Testing results show that the model is capable of predicting demand for the next 7 days with a fairly good level of accuracy, as indicated by a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) value of ±4.613 units per day. This application not only provides demand predictions but also presents data visualizations and automatic restocking recommendations based on the prediction results. Thus, this system is expected to help store managers make more accurate, efficient, and data-driven restocking decisions. Additionally, the use of Streamlit simplifies the process of distributing the system widely and enhances accessibility for end-users, including those without a technical background. This research opens opportunities for further development through the integration of real-time data and other AI methods to improve prediction accuracy in the future.

Abstract

Information system risk audits are an important step in ensuring the security, effectiveness, and efficiency of the systems used by organizations. However, the fast advancement of information and communication technologies has made information?security threats more intricate, arising not only from internal sources like employee carelessness but also from external sources such as cyber?attacks, malware, and data?theft. This study aims to analyze information security risks at the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Lhokseumawe by referring to two international standards, namely ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO 31000:2018. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative with a case study method. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews, observations, and document studies. The results of the study indicate that there are still various security gaps, both technical and non-technical, such as weak system authentication, the absence of adequate security policies, and the lack of incident handling procedures. This study successfully compiled a risk register containing 30 types of risks along with their causes, impacts, likelihood levels, and relevant mitigation recommendations. Improvement recommendations include strengthening technical controls, updating information security policies, enhancing human resource capacity, and conducting regular internal audits. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for strengthening information security systems in a systematic and standardized manner within the BPS environment.

Abstract

The research was conducted by researchers at Trienggadeng State Vocational School located on Jl Banda Aceh-Medan KM 152, Kec. Trienggadeng Regency. Pidie Jaya. This research is based on the importance of the network in the ongoing teaching and learning process in the network and computer labs, the network in the lab is currently not managed properly and the distribution of bandwidth is not evenly distributed. To get a good internet connection, it is necessary to distribute bandwidth evenly, which can be done using a proxy router. One of the features for distributing bandwidth evenly in the proxy router can be applied using the simple queue and queue tree methods, knowing network quality can be done using Quality of Service (QoS) measurements. This study aims to determine the analysis of network quality using Qos on proxy routers using the simple queue and queue tree methods. The method used in this study is to use the action research method (action research), the stages of the research are analyzing, data collection, data completeness, making network designs, and taking action. The results obtained for network analysis in a comparative study between simple queue and queue tree networks, the results for the delay obtained by the queue tree are 9 ms, packet loss = 0%, and throughput = 549 k. Whereas the simple queue obtains the value from the QoS measurement by performing calculations with the equation formula to obtain a value of delay = 8 ms, packet loss = 0.15% and throughput = 629 k. Based on the Tiphon standard, it can be concluded that for delay, a queue tree is better with a value above the simple queue with a very good index, the packet loss queue tree is better than the simple queue, the index is very good, the throughput of the simple queue is better compared to the throughput queue tree. This research shows that overall Queue Tree is more optimal for QoS.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Desa Pesisir, Kota Lhokseumawe, difokuskan pada penguatan kapasitas petani ikan melalui rancang bangun dan implementasi sistem monitoring kualitas air kolam berbasis digital. Kegiatan ini melibatkan petani ikan lokal dalam pelatihan edukatif-partisipatif, mencakup pemahaman parameter kualitas air, penggunaan sensor digital, dan pemantauan secara real-time. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam mengelola kolam secara berbasis data, serta kemampuan melakukan intervensi yang tepat untuk menjaga kesehatan ikan dan meningkatkan produktivitas kolam. Selain dampak teknis dan produktivitas, program ini membangun literasi teknologi, respons adaptif terhadap perubahan lingkungan, dan budaya kolaboratif di komunitas pesisir. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan partisipatif berbasis teknologi dapat menjadi model berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan sosial-ekonomi, praktik budidaya adaptif, dan transformasi komunitas melalui pemanfaatan teknologi tepat guna.
