Implementing project-based learning (PBL) in sports education has garnered interest as a novel approach to enhancing students' competencies and comprehension. This study examines the impact of project-based football instruction on the athletic abilities of physical education students. The study utilizes a quasi-experimental approach with 60 students allocated to an experimental group (PBL) and a control group (conventional learning). The evaluation emphasizes technical competencies (passing, dribbling, and shooting) and tactical comprehension, assessed via pre- and post-tests. The findings indicate that students in the experimental group exhibited a notable enhancement in technical skills (average increase of 28%, p < 0.05) and tactical comprehension (average increase of 32%, p < 0.05) relative to the control group. The findings demonstrate that project-based learning improves technical and tactical skills by involving students in collaborative, problem-solving tasks replicating real-game scenarios. In summary, project-based football teaching significantly enhances the athletic abilities of physical education pupils. The study advocates for incorporating Project-Based Learning (PBL) into football education curricula to enhance profound learning and skill development while encouraging creativity and collaboration.

This study aims to determine the contribution of hand-eye coordination and speed to blocking ability in volleyball among athletes at SMA 5 Bengkulu Tengah. Using a quantitative approach, the entire population of 21 athletes was used as the sample. Data were collected through hand-eye coordination tests, speed tests, and volleyball blocking ability tests, and analyzed using correlation techniques. The results showed that both hand-eye coordination and speed had a significant influence on successful blocking. Athletes with good coordination and high speed tended to block more effectively. A normality test indicated that the data were normally distributed, thus validating the research findings. Based on these results, it is recommended that coaches place greater emphasis on improving hand-eye coordination and reaction speed in training programs.

The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study used a test. The instrument used in this study was the Balke test. The data analysis technique used the before-after t-test. The results of the two-tailed t-test showed that there was a significant difference between the two groups of t-values > t-table (3.426 > 2.048) at a significance level of 5% (a = 0.05). So it is concluded that there is a significant effect of the interval training method on the VO2 max level in the experimental group. The hypothesis proposed in this study is proven to have an effect.

Purpose of this research is to determine the effect of Zig-Zag Run training on the basketball dribbling skills of Kepahiang Porprov athletes. The method used in this research. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of Zig-Zag Run training on the basketball dribbling skills of Kepahiang Porprov athletes. So this research is a quasi-experimental type. The experimental method can be said to be a method used to look for certain influences on others under controlled conditions. Based on research results, it was found that the basketball dribbling skills of Kepahiang Porprov athletes increased after being given zig-zag run training, which can be seen from the results of the pre-test average, namely 19, after being given zig-zag run training it increased to 30. This proves that Agility training is very helpful for improving an athlete's dribbling skills. Meanwhile, for the group that was not given zig-zag run training, but still did the usual training, the increase was only slight, with an average of 23.

This study aims to determine the effect of Fartlek training on the maximum aerobic capacity of extracurricular futsal students at SMPN 28 North Bengkulu. This type of research is an experimental study with a sample of 20 players. The results of this study are that Fartlek training carried out by players can increase the maximum aerobic capacity of extracurricular students at SMPN 28 North Bengkulu, with t hit (6.84) > t tab (2.26). The results of this study indicate that the Fartlek training method has a significant effect on the maximum aerobic capacity of players. There is a difference in both maximum aerobic capacities before and after doing Fartlek training. The maximum aerobic capacity after being given Fartlek training treatment clearly increased, although the increase was only slight. This can be seen from the difference between the average before Fartlek training. (38.3) with the average after Fartlek training (42.2) is 3.8. Thus, there is a significant effect of the Fartlek training method on the maximum aerobic capacity of players.
