Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi karena di MTs DDI Kulo Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang terdapat peserta didik yang mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca teks Bahasa Arab, hal ini terlihat ketika peserta didik tidak mampu membaca teks bahasa Arab dengan baik dan benar didalam kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk kesulitan membaca teks bahasa Arab peserta didik, untuk mengetahui strategi guru pendidikan bahasa Arab  dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca teks bahasa Arab peserta didik dan untuk mengetahui faktor penghambat dan pendukung strategi guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca teks bahasa Arab peserta didik di MTs DDI Kulo Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian Kualitatif deskriptif. Untuk Teknik Analisis data itu menggunakan deskriptif dengan empat tahapan yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan triangulasi data. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang digunakan guru bahasa Arab dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca teks bahasa Arab yaitu strategi demonstrasi dan strategi drill (metode berulang-ulang). Hambatan yang terjadi pada proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab ini yaitu kurangnya minat dan motivasi belajar peserta didik, kurangnya wawasan bahasa Arab terhadap peserta didik. Faktor pendukung dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab ini yaitu pengelolaan kelas yang baik, dan jam pelajaran yang lumayan lama.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang “Efektivitas Kitab Tuhfatul Athfal Dalam Mempelajari Ilmu Tajwid Santri Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur’an Al-Imam Ashim Makassar.” Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Sistem Pembelajaran Efektivitas Kitab Tuhfatul Athfal Dalam Mempelajari Ilmu Tajwid Santri Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur’an Al-Imam Ashim Makassar. 2) Efektivitas Kitab Tuhfatul Athfal Dalam Mempelajari Ilmu Tajwid Santri Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur’an Al-Imam Ashim Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian mixed methods (penelitian kombinasi), dengan menggunaakan teknik observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Data yang terkumpul kemudian diseleksi dan di analisis deskriptif presentase, analisis melalui pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan yang dilakukan saat observasi langsung. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Efektivitas Kitab Tuhfatul Athfal Dalam Mempelajari Ilmu Tajwid Santri Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur’an Al-Imam Ashim Makassar dikategorikan efektif. Dengan adanya beberapa indikator pembuktian, hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil observasi 85% dan yang digunakan untuk mengukur keefektifan pembelajaran maka digunakan angket dengan hasil 95%. Maka pembelajaran kitab Tuhfatul Athfal dapat dikatakan sangat baik sesuai dengan tabel kriteria efektif, apabila mencapai frekuensi 81%-100% maka kegiatan tersebut dikatakan sangat baik. 2) Sistem Pembelajaran Efektivitas Kitab Tuhfatul Athfal Dalam Mempelajari Ilmu Tajwid Santri Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur’an Al-Imam Ashim Makassar yaitu, pembelajaran kitab Tuhfatul di pondok pesantren Tahfidzul Qur’an Al-Imam Ashim Makassar terdapat 5 kali pertemuan dalam seminggu, dan menggunakan metode bandongan.

Abstract

Learning Arabic is one of the important subjects that must be understood and mastered by students, especially for those who study in Islamic-based educational institutions. One such institution is Islamic elementary school 2 Makassar, where many students still struggle to master Arabic vocabulary. To address this issue, the researcher offers the Pop-Up Book as a learning aid. A Pop-Up Book is a type of book featuring three-dimensional visual displays that are attractive and interactive. This medium is expected to help students understand and memorize mufrodat more easily through engaging 3D visualizations. This study aims to obtain data on the implementation of the Pop-Up Book media in improving the mastery of Arabic mufrodat among fifth-grade students of class V.C at MIN 2 Makassar. This research uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach. The researcher selected the students of class V.C at MIN 2 Makassar as the research subjects. The data collection techniques used were observation, tests, and documentation. The research results showed an improvement in students’ vocabulary mastery after implementing the Pop-Up Book media. The average student score in Cycle I was 78.52, with 18 students (64.28%) passing and 10 students (35.71%) not passing. In Cycle II, the average score increased to 85.71, with 24 students (85.71%) passing and 4 students (14.28%) not passing. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of Pop-Up Book as a learning medium can improve the Arabic vocabulary mastery of fifth-grade students in class V.C at MIN 2 Makassar.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low mastery of Arabic vocabulary of fourth grade students of Hasan Islamic Elementary School Ar-Raafi Makassar City. One of the efforts made to overcome this problem is to implement interesting and interactive learning media, one of which is the language monopoly media. The purpose of this study is to find out how language monopoly media is applied in learning, the results achieved, and the factors that support and hinder its use. The research model used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with II cycles using the Kemmis and MC Taggart models, with 15 students. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, tests, and documentation, while data analysis is carried out by calculating the percentage and average score of learning completion. The results of the study show that language monopoly media is effective in improving students' vocabulary mastery. This is evidenced by an increase in the average score from 64.4% in the pre-cycle to 84.86% in the first cycle and 90.46% in the second cycle. Thus, the use of language monopoly media can be an effective solution to help students understand and master Arabic vocabulary in a more fun and meaningful way.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the effectiveness of Arabic extracurricular activities, specifically muhadharah and muhadatsah, as well as the daily Arabic language program in improving maharah al-kalam of second-grade students of MTs Husnayain Salulebbo. Maharah al-kalam or the ability to speak Arabic is an important competency that needs to be developed at the secondary education level, especially in madrasahs. This study used a descriptive qualitative method to collect and analyze data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that muhadharah, muhadatsah, and the daily Arabic language program were effective in improving students' maharah al-kalam. Muhadharah activities were implemented through group formation, lecture text creation, and regular evaluations, which helped students develop their speaking skills. Meanwhile, muhadatsah activities were carried out through interactive dialogue, a communicative approach, and regular supervision that encouraged students to be more active in communicating in Arabic. The daily Arabic language program, which involved providing mufrodat (new vocabulary), adaptation to daily situations, and continuous evaluation, also proved effective. Supporting factors for the success of this activity include routine activities, sanctions for violators, and competitions that increase student motivation. However, there are several inhibiting factors, such as a lack of student interest and seriousness in participating in the activity, as well as external factors such as limited facilities and infrastructure, and bad weather that can disrupt the implementation of the activity. This study concludes that extracurricular Arabic language activities can effectively improve students' maharah al-kalam if supported by appropriate methods and strategies, and the presence of adequate supporting factors.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) examines the effectiveness of the Talaqqi method in improving the ability to read the Qur'an of class XI.3 students of SMA Negeri 6 Luwu Timur. This method is applied in two cycles, including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results show a significant increase. From the pre-cycle to cycle I, there was an increase of 34.28%, and from cycle I to cycle II, the increase reached 22.86%. The average score of students also increased significantly, namely 10.8 points in cycle I and 16.86 points in cycle II. These data show a positive impact of the Talaqqimethod on students' ability to read the Qur'an. In conclusion, the Talaqqi method has proven to be effective. This study recommends the application of this method in Islamic Religious Education learning to optimize students' Qur'an reading skills. The substantial increase in students' reading ability and average score is strong evidence of the success of this method. Further research can be conducted to examine the application of the Talaqqi method in different age groups and ability levels.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the direct method in teaching speaking skills to the students of Darussalam Gontor Islamic Boarding Scool Campus Eleventh Ittihadul Ummah Poso Central of Sulawesi. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation analysis. The results showed that the direct method had a significant impact on improving speaking skills, with an effectiveness rate of 76.23%, which is categorized as "influential." Statistical analysis also revealed a strong and significant correlation (regression coefficient 0.815 and coefficient of determination 51.6%), indicating that the direct method plays a crucial role in developing students' speaking abilities. These findings confirm that the direct method is highly effective in enhancing Arabic speaking skills and can be recommended as an appropriate approach in Arabic language teaching.
