Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine how the problem posing approach in learning mathematics can improve mathematical critical thinking skills. This type of research is Quasi experimental with Post Test Only Control Group design. The population in this study were VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 12 Bandar Lampung. The cluster random sampling method was used to select sample members from the population without considering the students' ability level. The results showed that the problem posing approach with steps to create mathematical situations, formulate mathematical questions, solve mathematical problems, and apply mathematical concepts has a relationship with indicators of mathematical critical thinking skills. Indicators of critical thinking skills include interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, explanation, and self-regulation. So, it can be concluded, students' mathematical critical thinking skills can be improved using the problem posing approach.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the importance of applying behavioristic theories to the learning of Islamic Religious Education. The method used by the author is descriptive qualitative which seeks to explain the application of behavioristic theory so that it is able to produce behavior change towards students. Through this study, the author tries to uncover the methods used by PAI teachers at elementary school in the city of Medan as well as changes in student behavior using a behavioristic theory approach. Based on the results of the study it was found that the application of Behavioristic learning theory to PAI learning used reinforcement, motivation, stimulus, and practice. While changes in student behavior towards posistif are motivated in learning, interactive, strengthening memory, and tolerance. Abstract

Pelanggaran hak asasi manusia (HAM) yang sistematis terhadap Muslim Uighur di Xinjiang, China, telah menjadi isu global yang mengkhawatirkan. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi dimensi perlindungan hukum humaniter yang dibutuhkan untuk mengatasi krisis kemanusiaan ini. Dengan mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk pelanggaran seperti penahanan massal, pembatasan kebebasan beragama, dan pengawasan berlebihan, penelitian ini menganalisis kebijakan represif pemerintah China yang bertentangan dengan instrumen hukum internasional. Dampak nyata dari pelanggaran ini terhadap kehidupan Muslim Uighur juga disorot, mulai dari kesehatan fisik hingga disintegrasi masyarakat. Selanjutnya, evaluasi kerangka hukum nasional dan internasional mengungkapkan kesenjangan dalam perlindungan efektif, menekankan perlunya reformasi dan penguatan kerjasama global. Upaya penegakan hukum humaniter dan advokasi HAM dibahas secara komprehensif, mencakup langkah-langkah dari komunitas internasional, organisasi HAM, dan masyarakat sipil. Artikel ini menyoroti urgensi untuk mengakhiri pelanggaran HAM, memastikan perlindungan hukum yang memadai, dan memulihkan martabat serta hak-hak dasar Muslim Uighur sebagai kelompok minoritas.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Cooperative Learning model, specifically the Jigsaw type, in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) lessons for Grade X TKJ 2 at SMK YADIKA Tanjungsari, Sumedang Regency, during the 2024/2025 academic year. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results reveal that the jigsaw model enhances student engagement through active group discussions, peer teaching, and collaborative learning. Key supporting factors include student enthusiasm and the teacher’s role as an active facilitator. However, several challenges emerged, such as limited class time, the ineffectiveness of online learning, and students’ varying abilities in comprehending and delivering material. In conclusion, the Jigsaw-type Cooperative Learning model proves effective in improving the quality of PAI instruction, although further strategies are required to optimize its application, particularly in blended learning contexts.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning Jigsaw dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di kelas X TKJ 2 SMK YADIKA Tanjungsari Kabupaten Sumedang pada Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model jigsaw mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran melalui kegiatan diskusi kelompok yang aktif, penyampaian materi oleh siswa, serta kerja sama antaranggota kelompok. Faktor pendukung utama adalah antusiasme siswa dan peran aktif guru sebagai fasilitator. Sementara itu, hambatan yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan waktu, pembelajaran daring yang kurang efektif, serta variasi kemampuan siswa dalam memahami dan menyampaikan materi. Kesimpulannya, model Cooperative Learning Jigsaw efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran PAI, namun diperlukan strategi lanjutan untuk mengoptimalkan implementasinya, terutama dalam konteks blended learning.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of Project Based Learning (PjBL) in enhancing storytelling skills among early childhood students at TK Cahaya Mentari Langkapura, Bandar Lampung. PjBL, an instructional method centered around projects, aims to guide students in solving complex problems through real-life experiences and active exploration. The study involved pretest and posttest phases to assess the development of children's storytelling abilities before and after implementing PjBL. The results indicate that PjBL significantly improved storytelling interest and confidence, with 73% of children showing increased interest and bravery, 87% starting to present in front of the class, and 53% doing so effectively after PjBL. Additionally, 60% of children understood the importance of proper intonation, and 80% could correctly construct simple sentences. Statistical analysis with a p-value of .000 confirms that the observed improvements were not due to chance. These findings underscore that PjBL is effective in developing storytelling skills, creativity, and collaboration in early childhood education.
