Abstract

Keterbatasan jumlah psikolog yang tidak merata dan banyak terpusat di kota-kota besar, menjadi tantangan signifikan bagi kesehatan mental di Indonesia, karena mengakibatkan akses terbatas terhadap layanan konseling dan terapi bagi individu yang tinggal di daerah terpencil. Telemedicine seperti yang dilakukan oleh Halodoc, menjadi populer saat pandemi Covid-19. Aplikasi telemedicine memudahkan masyarakat mendapatkan bantuan untuk masalah kesehata mental. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan melakukan wawancara dengan psikolog, klien, dan keluarga klien untuk mencari tahu apa yang bagus dan sulit dalam menggunakan Halodoc untuk masalah kesehatan mental. Terdapat kelebihan dalam menggunakan Halodoc seperti privasi, bisa membuat janji sesuai waktu luang, menghemat waktu dan uang, serta lebih mudah diakses. Tapi juga ada masalah seperti tidak dapat melihat ekspresi tubuh, masalah teknis dan jaringan, sulit memahami masalah klien, dan susahnya membangun hubungan baik dengan psikolog. Sebagai kesimpulan, aplikasi telemedicine Halodoc menawarkan banyak manfaat layanan kesehatan mental, sementara tantangan tetap ada. Melalui model komunikasi yang tepat dan adaptasi berkelanjutan, telemedicine dapat terus merevolusi perawatan kesehatan mental, meningkatkan aksesibilitas, dan memberdayakan individu dan keluarga untuk aktif terlibat dalam kesejahteraan mental mereka.

Abstract

Many ways exist to promote and increase awareness of products, one of which is through collaboration with celebrities or well-known figures to become brand ambassadors. Collaboration with brand ambassadors is a form of communication carried out by a brand or event to convey messages and information to the audience regarding the content of the message. This research was conducted with the aim of understanding the role of Ghanim Al Muftah as a brand ambassador in introducing the inclusive FIFA World Cup 2022. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, employing a case study and literature review method. The results obtained in this study show that Ghanim Al Muftah's role as a brand ambassador has garnered a positive response, had a beneficial impact, and effectively conveyed awareness of the inclusivity aspect to the audience.

Abstract

This qualitative study explores the communication dynamics between psychologists and clients within the framework of utilising mental health services provided by Halodoc. Telemedicine has emerged as a popular alternative for individuals seeking mental health support in the digital age. Using a case study methodology, in-depth interviews were conducted with psychologists and clients who availed themselves of Halodoc’s mental health features. The findings reveal both advantages and challenges associated with communication via Halodoc. Advantages include enhanced accessibility, convenience, and privacy for clients, while challenges encompass the absence of non-verbal cues, difficulties in building rapport, and occasional technical constraints affecting session quality. This research offers valuable insights into the communication dynamics of digital mental health services, laying the groundwork for enhancing service efficacy and user experience. In conclusion, the study emphasises the need to address challenges within telemedicine platforms and continuously improve them to optimise mental health service delivery in the digital realm. Ultimately, the study contributes to advancing our understanding of communication in digital mental health services and underscores the importance of ongoing refinement in telemedicine platforms to meet the evolving needs of clients and psychologists alike.

Abstract

The "Compact: Communication Impact" political literacy program was held to enhance the political awareness of 12th-grade students at SMKN 1 Pangandaran ahead of the 2024 Regional Election. Political literacy is crucial to fostering quality democratic participation, especially among youth. The program included Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), debates, expert sessions, and pre- and post-tests to measure outcomes. A total of 34 students participated, aiming to improve their ability to detect hoaxes, analyze political issues, and understand their role as first-time voters. Evaluation results showed a 6.05% increase in post-test scores, indicating improved political literacy. Students also shifted from apathetic to more critical and active political attitudes. This program successfully provided relevant political knowledge and practical skills, becoming a model for future youth political literacy initiatives.

Abstract

Adolescent reproductive health and marriage readiness remains a significant issue in Indonesia, where one in nine girls marry before the age of 18, often with adverse health, social and educational impacts. To address these challenges, innovative approaches are needed, including the use of social media to provide easily accessible premarital education and health promotion. This research examines the role of the Instagram account @siapnikah_official in improving adolescent health literacy and preparing young individuals for marriage through digital engagement. This research aims to explore how @siapnikah_official provides premarital education, engages its audience, and promotes health awareness among teenagers. Using a qualitative descriptive methodology, this study collected data through in-depth interviews and content analysis of the account's posts, stories, and interactive features. The findings show that @siapnikah_official effectively uses Instagram features to disseminate important health information, encourage interactive learning, and promote positive behavior change. The use of visually appealing content, easy-to-understand stories, and active audience engagement strategies have contributed significantly to its success in addressing issues such as early marriage and reproductive health literacy. However, challenges remain, particularly in measuring audience acceptance and assessing the long-term impact of its health promotion efforts. This study underscores the potential of digital platforms as tools for strategic health communication and adolescent education. This study highlights the importance of integrating social media into public health initiatives to address pressing social issues, paving the way for further research on optimizing digital interventions for sustainable outcomes.

Abstract

Therapeutic communication plays a crucial role in supporting the healing process and improving individual health, including mental health, education, and social interaction. It aims not only to exchange information but also to build empathetic relationships between healthcare providers and patients, creating a conducive environment for healing. This study maps research trends related to "therapeutic communication" in Indonesia over the past 5 years (2020-2024) through bibliometric analysis. Data was collected from Google Scholar using Publish or Perish (PoP) with specific keywords and analyzed and visualized using VOSviewer. The analysis reveals an increase in publication trends in 2023, likely due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which prompted extensive research on therapeutic communication. Increased interaction between patients and healthcare providers during the pandemic also influenced the quality of care. This study identifies five main focuses in therapeutic communication research: nursing, health, education, communication, and other fields. This study concludes that developing culturally sensitive therapeutic communication approaches and providing communication skills training for healthcare providers are crucial. This will create more inclusive and responsive healthcare services that meet community needs.

Abstract

Branding is a strategy that aims to introduce and build an image to the target audience. The DKI Jakarta Regional Library, which is one of the public libraries, offers various information services and library facilities for the public. One of the library branding strategies is through the Night at Library program, an activity held at night in the library. This study aims to determine the perceptions of participants in the Night at Library Volume 6 event. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews and observations. Researchers conducted interviews with participants who participated in that event. The results of the study explained that participants had high enthusiasm for this event. According to participants, the event provided a unique experience while broadening their understanding of the services provided by the Jakarta Regional Library. Then, this event provided a different view of public perception because the library is not only seen as a reading and learning space but also as an interesting place able to provide entertainment. The Night at Library program has proven to be a new branding strategy for improving the image of the Jakarta Library. Through this activity, the library has succeeded in creating a unique experience that strengthens relationships with the community and increases public awareness of its services. Participation and appreciation show the potential for this program to be adapted and developed into an innovative and interactive branding model for other libraries.

Abstract

Penyandang disabilitas sering menghadapi tantangan besar dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, terutama dalam hal pemenuhan hak, pemberdayaan potensi, dan penerimaan di masyarakat dan industri. Meskipun memiliki keterampilan unik, mereka sering kali dipandang sebelah mata akibat stigma sosial yang berkembang, dengan anggapan bahwa jalur pendidikan formal adalah satu-satunya cara untuk mencapai kesuksesan. Di dunia industri, keterbatasan ekosistem inklusif dan kurangnya penerimaan terhadap penyandang disabilitas sebagai bagian dari Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) turut memperburuk situasi ini. Indonesia telah menunjukkan komitmennya dalam mendukung hak penyandang disabilitas melalui Konvensi PBB dan UU Nomor 8 Tahun 2016, namun implementasi pemberdayaan mereka dalam pembangunan nasional masih terbatas. ZORA SPARKLE, sebuah program sosial yang diprakarsai oleh penerima beasiswa LPDP, bertujuan untuk merespons tantangan tersebut dengan pendekatan berbasis kekuatan, yakni dengan mengeksplorasi potensi penyandang disabilitas melalui kegiatan seni dan keterampilan. Program ini mengadopsi prinsip Community Services, Community Empowerment, dan Community Relations untuk menghubungkan penyandang disabilitas dengan masyarakat, industri, dan pemangku kebijakan. Dengan mengadakan pelatihan keterampilan, pameran karya seni, dan kegiatan inklusivitas industri, ZORA SPARKLE berusaha membangun ekosistem inklusif yang mengurangi stigma negatif dan membuka peluang kerja bagi penyandang disabilitas. Melalui kolaborasi dengan ATC Widyatama dan CIDCO, serta mencontoh inisiatif dari perusahaan multinasional, program ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan partisipasi penyandang disabilitas di industri, serta memperkuat kemandirian ekonomi mereka.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, this outbreak affects all sectors, both formal and informal. To break the chain of the spread of the corona virus, the government is motivated to issue new regulations that must be applied by the entire community. Policies related to social distancing have also been implemented, one of the policies issued by the government is working from home or Work From Home (WFH). This policy is carried out in companies and government agencies (ASN). Of course, there are many work adjustments experienced by ASN during WFH, especially one of the Ministries in Jakarta which is the object of research. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection was obtained from semi-structured interviews with 5 informants consisting of staff from different departments and Division Heads. This study aims to explain how employees perform, what obstacles are faced by employees and leaders and how employees can maintain productivity during Work From Home.

Abstract

Literasi dan partisipasi politik merupakan elemen penting dalam demokrasi, namun komunitas petani dan nelayan sering kali menghadapi kesenjangan informasi yang signifikan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan peran strategi komunikasi politik dalam meningkatkan partisipasi politik petani dan nelayan di Kabupaten Pangandaran menjelang Pemilu 2024, yang merupakan bagian dari upaya pemberdayaan komunitas marjinal.Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilakukan dengan metode pendekatan partisipatif, termasuk kegiatan sosialisasi yang interaktif, forum diskusi yang mendorong keterlibatan aktif peserta, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur tingkat peningkatan pemahaman. Peserta yang terlibat terdiri dari petani dan nelayan yang menjadi kelompok sasaran utama. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan sosialisasi komunikasi politik yang inovatif berhasil menciptakan ruang dialog yang kondusif. Sementara itu, pendidikan politik berbasis komunitas terbukti efektif dalam memberdayakan kelompok sasaran dengan meningkatkan literasi politik mereka dan memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang hak dan kewajiban politik. Kombinasi pendekatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman politik, tetapi juga memperkuat partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam demokrasi. Partisipasi ini berpotensi menciptakan perubahan signifikan dalam cara komunitas marjinal terlibat dalam proses politik, sekaligus mendukung kualitas demokrasi lokal yang lebih inklusif dan berkeadilan.   Kata Kunci: Literasi Politik, Partisipasi Politik, Komunikasi Politik, Pendidikan Komunitas, Pemilu 2024   ABSTRACT Political literacy and participation are essential elements of democracy. However, farmer and fisher communities often face significant information gaps. This article aims to elucidate the role of political communication strategies in enhancing political participation among farmers and fishers in Pangandaran Regency ahead of the 2024 Elections, as part of efforts to empower marginalized communities.This Community Service (PkM) program was conducted using a participatory approach, encompassing interactive socialization activities, discussion forums that encouraged active participant engagement, and evaluations through pre-tests and post-tests to measure levels of understanding improvement. Participants consisted of farmers and fishers as the primary target groups. The findings indicate that innovative political communication socialization successfully created a conducive dialogue space. Furthermore, community-based political education proved effective in empowering the target groups by enhancing their political literacy and providing a deeper understanding of political rights and responsibilities. The integration of these approaches not only improved political understanding but also strengthened active community participation in democracy. This participation has the potential to drive significant changes in how marginalized communities engage in political processes, while simultaneously supporting a more inclusive and equitable quality of local democracy.   Keywords: Political Literacy, Political Participation, Political Communication, Community Education, 2024 Elections
