Abstract

Motivasi belajar merupakan salah satu kunci untuk meraih keberhasilan studi di semua jenjang pendidikan. Pada pendidikan tinggi, pemilihan program studi menjadi unsur sangat penting, dapat memengaruhi motivasi belajar. Mahasiswa sering menghadapi fakta, bahwa kuliahnya tidak selaras dengan keinginan. Penyebabnya karena beberapa hal, semisal tidak diterima pada program studi yang diminatinya, kesulitan biaya, kemauan orang tua, dan sebagainya. Ketidaksesuaian antara minat dan aktifitas belajar tersebut menyebabkan lemahnya motivasi, dan mereka laksana mahasiswa “setengah hati”. Artikel ini didasarkan atas wawancara yang dilakukan dengan mahasiswa baru Program Studi Pelayanan Pastoral STP-IPI Malang. Program studi ini menyiapkan lulusan menjadi pelayan pastoral dan memberi perhatian pada pemberdayaan penyandang disabilitas. Faktor panggilan dan passion yang khas, yang mendorong mahasiswa berminat masuk ke program studi ini. Kira-kira 40% mahasiswa mengaku minat utama studinya adalah tidak di bidang ini, namun karena tidak diterima pada program studi yang diinginkannya, mereka “terpaksa” masuk ke Program Studi Pelayanan Pastoral. Hal ini menyisakan problem motivasi belajar, yang berpengaruh pada prestasi akademik mereka. Artikel terapan ini bermaksud mengupas hal ikhwal tentang motivasi dan motivasi berprestasi dari tinjauan psikologis, dan menawarkan upaya-upaya meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa “setengah hati” berdasarkan kajian teori yang dipaparkan. Upaya-upaya berikut dapat dilakukan untuk memperbaiki motivasi belajar: (1) Sosialisasi dan sensitisasi profil lulusan, (2) Pembimbing akademik yang sesuai, (3) Pelatihan empati bagi dosen dan tenaga kependidikan, (4) Program pembentukan diri, (5) Beasiswa dan Ikatan Dinas, (6) Menjalin komunikasi dengan keluarga.

Abstract

Pelibatan sebanyak mungkin pihak dalam reksa-pastoral pemberdayaan penyandang disabilitas, baik dari gereja maupun masyarakat umum menjadi sangat relevan karena Gereja hadir dalam konteks. Pergeseran paradigma pemberdayaan penyandang disabilitas dari karitatif menjadi inklusif, menyebabkan kerancuan persepsi tentang konsep inklusif disabilitas di kalangan pekerja sosial Rehabilitasi Bersumberdaya Masyarakat (RBM). Kerancuan tersebut berkisar pada batasan, prinsip dasar, pelaku, target-sasaran RBM. Materi training disability inclusive development (DID) disusun oleh peneliti dan praktisi serta divalidasi oleh pakar RBM untuk mengatasi gap persepsi tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra-experimental disain one group pre-test post-test. Tiga (3) trainers dan 24 trainees yang berafiliasi dengan Yayasan Bhakti Luhur dari Malang, Blitar, Kediri, Surabaya, Yogyakarta dan Salatiga berkontribusi dalam penelitian. Intervensi dilaksanakan tiga (3) hari, didahului pretest, dan dilakukan posttest setelahnya. Analisa data menggunakan SPSS, didapat hasil mean pre-test 44,92 dan mean post-test 76,58. Uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk mencatat signifikansi 0,24 pada pre-test dan 0,22 pada post-test. Tingkat signifikansi (a > 0.05) berarti data berdistribusi normal. Paired samples t-test mencatat signifikansi (2-tailed) 0,00 < 0.05, maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan, ada perbedaan antara rata-rata hasil pre-test dan post-test, yang berarti training DID partisipatif efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep inklusif disabilitas bagi pekerja sosial RBM.

Abstract

English: Persons with disabilities are those with long-term physical, mental, intellectual, or sensory disabilities that may hinder their full participation in the society. The limitations experienced by persosns with disabilities often become more severe due to the knowledge, views, and attitudes of the community including catholics, which is not appropriate. This study aims to find out the views and attitudes of people in St. Filemon community, Blimbing Parish (Malang Diocese) towards the fulfillment of the rights of persons with disabilities. This research is a survey, involving 37 respondents who representing 40 heads of families. The research data was collected using questionnaires. The results of the study were presented through visual graphics of histogram. While data analysis is done using percentages. The results showed that people's knowledge of the terms and meaning of disability correctly reached 94%, people's views on people with disabilities in church life 68%, people's attitude towards the fulfillment of rights in education 49%, people's attitude towards the fulfillment of rights in the field of health 57%, and people's attitude towards the fulfillment of rights in the field of livelihood 60%, while for the attitude of people towards the fulfillment of rights in the social field 57%. Indonesia: Penyandang disabilitas adalah mereka yang memiliki keterbatasan fisik, mental, intelektual, atau sensorik dalam jangka waktu lama yang dapat menghalangi partisipasi mereka secara penuh dalam masyarakat. Keterbatasan yang dialami oleh penyandang disabilitas sering menjadi lebih berat oleh karena pengetahuan, pandangan, dan sikap masyarakat termasuk umat katolik, yang tidak tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pandangan dan sikap umat di Lingkungan St. Filemon Paroki Belimbing terhadap pemenuhan hak penyandang disabilitas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey yang melibatkan 37 responden yang mewakili 40 kepala keluarga. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan angket. Hasil penelitian dipaparkan melalui gambar visual berupa grafik histogram. Sedangkan analisa data dilakukan menggunakan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengetahuan umat terhadap istilah dan arti disabilitas secara benar mencapai 94%, pandangan umat terhadap penyandang disabilitas dalam hidup menggereja 68%, sikap umat terhadap pemenuhan hak dalam bidang pendidikan 49%, sikap umat terhadap pemenuhan hak dalam bidang kesehatan 57%, dan sikap umat terhadap pemenuhan hak dalam bidang penghidupan 60%, sedangkan untuk sikap umat terhadap pemenuhan hak dalam bidang sosial 57%.

Abstract

Students with intellectual disabilities have limited thinking, especifically in abstract. That is the main factor causing the low learning achievement specifically in the field of arithmetic (mathematics). The selection of learning media that is suitable for the characteristics of intellectual disabilities is very important to bridge the abstract and concrete so that it is easy to understand. Media “dekak-dekak” becomes one of the learning media that is used in the sum operations for student with intellectual disability. The purpose of this study is to measure the effectiveness of the use of media “dekak-dekak” in the sum operation 1-10 for mild intellectual disability students in the 1st grade of Special School. This research is a class action research, which limits effectiveness based on the completeness minimum criteria (KKM) of 75 value points. A student, class teacher, and an observer participated in this study. The results of the study recorded the value of 50 points in the pre-cycle, the value of 70 points in the first cycle, and the value of 80 points in the second cycle. Thus, the media "dekak-dekak" effectively to be applied to the learning of the sum operations 1-10 for students with mild intellectual disabilities.

Abstract

Scouting activities are activities that internalize good values for students. Although scouts are extracurricular, most of the content of the activities is in the form of instilling pro-social attitudes and actions needed by students as a young generation. Pro-social attitudes are concerned with sharing, cooperating, helping, being honest, generosity, and considering the rights and welfare of others. This study aims to describe the perception of SMPK Bhakti Luhur Malang students towards the contribution of strengthening pro-social attitudes in scout activities, as an effort to prevent violence. The research method applied is a mix method, which combines quantitative approaches to describe student perceptions and qualitative approaches as supporting data. All 28 grade VIII and IX students were respondents, and 4 people consisting of scout leaders, homeroom teachers, and principals became informants in this study. Data were collected using questionnaires referring to the Likert Scale model and interview guide. Quantitative data were analyzed using percentages and graphs, while qualitative data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman approach. The results stated that students' perceptions of sharing attitudes obtained a score of 79.9%, cooperation and help 82.6%, honesty 70.3%, generosity 76.1%, attention to the rights of others 76.6%, with an average of 78.0% (very high contribution). These results are confirmed by the results of qualitative research which states that between students various toys and stationery, cooperate in helping friends, especially those with special needs, be generous by sharing provisions with other students, empathize with others. On the element of honesty, some students still cheat on exams and give incorrect excuses when arriving late

Abstract

The difficulty experienced by students with mental disabilities in understanding the learning of reduction operations is due to their very limited learning capacity, especially regarding abstract matters. Students need concrete and interesting media so that the learning process is more fun and easy to understand, so karbicus media (Cuisenairare number cards) are offered. The purpose of the study was to determine the influence of karbicus media on improving students' abilities in learning mathematics material of 1-10 reduction operations in class IV SLB YPAC MALANG CITY. This research method is classroom Action research. This study was designed in 2 cycles, each cycle consists of 3 meetings. Each cycle consists of several stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected by test and observation techniques. Indicators for students are declared complete learning when they reach a score of 70 or more and are declared to increase when the post-test value of cycle II is higher than the post-test value of cycle I. The results of the study can be concluded that there is an increase in the ability of mentally impaired students in class IV SLB YPAC MALANG IN the 1-10 summation material using karbicus media.
