Abstract

Jalur pedestrian dalam konteks perkotaan biasanya dimaksudkan sebagai ruang untuk pejalan kaki yang berfungsi sebagai sarana pencapaian yang dapat melindungi pejalan kaki dari bahaya yang datang dari kendaraan bermotor. Menurut (Abdillah, 2014). Koridor jalan Balai Kota di Kota Medan merupakan salah satu pusat perniagaan skala kota yang memiliki aktivitas cukup tinggi setiap harinya. Tingginya aktivitas pada jalur pejalan kaki di jalan Balai Kota ini tidak didukung dengan ketersediaan ruang bagi pejalan kaki yang nyaman dan aman. Penggunaan lahan di jalan Balai Kota didominasi oleh penggunaan lahan berupa perdagangan dan jasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kinerja jalur pejalan kaki di jalan Balai Kota berdasarkan PERMEN PU No: 03/PRT/M/2014 dan PUPR No.02/SE/M (2018) Pd 03 - 2017 – B. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Analisis kinerja jalur pejalan kaki. Dari hasil penelitian ini di peroleh hasil pada beberapa segmen pada jalur pedestrian memiliki tingkat pelayanan B dan C di hari Minggu (Weekend) dan Senin (Weekday).

Abstract

Transportasi mendukung berkembangnya aktivitas masyarakat, menjadikan mobil pribadi sebagai kebutuhan. Fasilitas parkir yang buruk dapat menyebabkan masalah pada jalan di sekitarnya. Pada kendaraan roda empat diperlukan penataan yang baik agar lahan yang tersedia dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Oleh karena itu, informasi tentang karakteristik parkir seperti akumulasi parkir, volume parkir, dan perputaran parkir diperlukan. Pada studi kasus ini dilakukan pengujian pada tempat parkir inap roda empat zona B di Bandara Kualanamu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh parkir inap roda empat zona B pada hari yang berbeda. Penelitian dilakukan selama tujuh (7) hari dalan waktu lima (5) jam dan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari studi langsung dan data sekunder yang diperoleh menggunakan peta tempat parkir inap kendaraan roda empat zona B Bandara Kualanamu. Dari hasil penelitian akumulasi kendaraan yang masuk maksimal sebanyak 106 mobil di hari Sabtu dengan hasil pergantian parkir < 1 yang menunjukan bahwa tersedia banyak ruang area parkir inap B Bandara Kualanamu dan didominasi di isi oleh kendaraan umum.

Abstract

Sering terjadinya kemacetan di simpang empat Aksara dan dikarenakan simpang empat Aksara merupakan salah satu simpang dikota Medan yang disekitaranya terdapat sekolah, pasar, serta terminal angkutan umum. Serta hal ini pula merupakan salah satu faktor pendukung terjadinya kemacetan. Untuk menganalisanya menggunakan metode PKJI (Pedoman Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia) tahun 2014. Pengambilan data langsung dilapangan selama 3 hari yaitu senin, rabu, dan sabtu pada jam-jam puncak yaitu pagi, siang, dan sore dengan interval waktu selama 2 jam dalam periode 15 menit dengan arah LRS, BKi, dan BKa yang dipakai untuk perhitungan analisa adalah jam puncak tertinggi di 3 hari. Memakai data formulir dan bantuan video. Hasil analisa data yang diperoleh yaitu terjadi di jam puncak tertinggi pada hari senin pagi pukul 07.00-08.00 didapat DJ (Derajat kejenuhan) untuk kaki simpang Letda Sujono (0,34), Prof.H.M.Yamin (0,34), Williem Iskandar (0,25), dan Aksara (0,17). Tundaan simpang rata-rata seluruh simpang (TI) pada simpang empat jalan Letda Sujono-Prof.H.M.Yamin dan jalan Williem Iskandar-Aksara 46,80 detik/skr. Tingkat pelayanan simpang empat bersinyal pada jalan Letda Sujono, Prof.H.M.Yamin, William Iskandar, dan Aksara memiliki tundaan rata-ratanya sebesar 46,80 detik/smp, untuk tingkat pelayanannya D deskripsi umumnya mendekati aliran arus yang tidak stabil (tundaan dapat ditoleransi, terkadang kendaraan menunggu lebih dari satu siklus untuk melanjutkan perjalanan).

Abstract

Jalan Tgk Muhammad Luddin merupakan salah satu jalan dikota Blangkejren yang termasuk dalam kelas jalan arteri primer dengan tipe lajur 2/2 UD yang merupakan kawasan ekonomi yang menyebabkan volume lalu lintas semakin besar sehingga mengakibatkan kinerja ruas jalan menjadi berkurang. Dalam Penelitian ini, dianalisa hubungan antara ketiga komponen utama arus lalu lintas yakni volume (Q), kecepatan (V) dan kepadatan (D) dalam tiga metode,yaitu Model Greenshield, Model Greenberg, dan Model Underwood. Untuk kapasitas dicari dengan rumusan yang ada pada MKJI 1997. Dari hasil penelitian dan analisis data arus lalu lintas, model yang paling baik untuk menggambarkan kepadatan pada saat macet (Dj) adalah Model Greenberg karena nilai determinasi R2 yang paling mendekati angka 1 adalah model Greenberg. Volume lalu lintas tertinggi pada jam puncak terjadi pada hari selasa 15 November 2022 yaitu sebesar 1513.7 smp/jam yang terjadi pada jam 16.00 – 17.00 WIB. Kecepatan rata-rata lalu lintas tertinggi terdapat pada hari senin sore yaitu pukul 17.00 – 18.00 sebesar 28.93 km/jam. Kepadatan lalu-lintas tertinggi pada jam Puncak terjadi pada hari Selasa, 15 November 2022 yaitu sebesar 63.20 smp/km pada kisaran jam 13.00 – 14.00 WIB. Nilai kapasitas untuk total 2 arah yaitu 2770,69 smp/jam sedangkan tingkat pelayanan digolongkan pada tingkat pelayanan golongan A yaitu arus lancer, volume rendah, kecepatan tinggi.

Abstract

The Gunting Saga - Teluk Binjai Road section (North Labuhan Batu Regency) is a Collector Road or Regency Road that connects the city of Aek Kanopan and the city of Kualuh Hilir. On this section of road, several large and heavy vehicles often pass with geometric conditions that are not too wide and at some points the ground conditions are less stable, which results in poor traffic flow and also damage to parts of the road. The impact of the lack of width and damage to the existing condition of the Gunting Saga - Teluk Binjai section is: hampering economic activity in the area. The aim of the study is to plan flexible pavement and widening on road shoulders and also plan flexible pavement on additional or overlay pavement.To support this study, several data are needed, such as: traffic volume data, rainfall data, CBR data, Benkelman beam data and also unit price analysis data using secondary data obtained from the North Sumatra Province National Road Planning and Supervision Working Unit. From the results of the data obtained, it is then processed and analyzed in the calculation of flexible pavement for new roads and additional pavement (overlays) using Bina Marga standards for flexible pavement analysis using Instructions for Planning the Thickness of Flexible Pavement for Highways Using the Component Analysis Method (SKBI-2.3.26.1987), Meanwhile, for additional pavement analysis (overlay), the Hot Rolled Overlay Design For Indonesia method is used.From the calculation results, it is obtained that the thickness of the flexible pavement layer for the new road and also the thickness of the additional pavement layer (overlay) are obtained with various values, namely: segment 1 has a layer value of D1 = 5,4 cm, D2 = 25 cm, D3 = 35 cm as well as for each segment so on up to four segments.

Abstract

Special stopping space for motorbikes is one of the facilities for motorbikes to stop at intersections during the red phase. This special stopping space has been tested on a limited scale to support the movement of motorbikes at signalized intersections in large cities in Indonesia. This research aims to evaluate the intersection and then plan a special stopping room according to the number of motorbikes piling up during the red phase at the intersection. Intersection evaluation is carried out based on primary data and secondary data. The calculation method is guided by the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) and Technical Planning Guidelines for Special Stop Spaces (RHK) for Motorcycles at Signalized Intersections in Urban Areas.The traffic behavior of the existing intersection is, west approach capacity 335 pcu/hour, DS (Degree of Saturation) 1,878, queue length 97 m and average delay 157 sec/pcu. East approach capacity is 342 pcu/hour, DS (Degree of Saturation) is 2,295, queue length is 97 m, and average delay is 169.3 sec/pcu. North approach capacity is 600 pcu/hour, DS (Degree of Saturation) is 0.546, queue length is 157 m, and average delay is 69.2 sec/pcu. South approach capacity is 941 pcu/hour, DS (Degree of Saturation) 0.987, queue length 245 m, and average delay 111.6 sec/pcu.The special stopping space design on the northern approach is 2 lanes with an approach lane and an area of ​​84 m2; on the southern approach, namely 2 lanes with an approach lane and an area of ​​84 m2; on the western and eastern approaches do not meet the 2012 Age Work Department Service standards in RHK planning.

Abstract

: Balikado is one of the shopping centers in Medan City, located on Jalan Menteng, Medan Denai District. Parking is something that is quite a concern, especially if you visit places that are busy with visitors, such as Balikado. Shopping centers usually have a busy schedule of visitors at certain times of the day, so problems occur such as not having the parking properly organized. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to identify the need for parking space. From the results of research for 7 days, (18-24 July 2023) from 09.00-18.00 WIB and data processing carried out, it can be concluded that: the largest number of vehicles entered were 71 motorbikes on Tuesday 13.00-14.00 and 31 cars on Sundays at 14.00-15.00, the largest accumulation is 77 motorbikes on Wednesdays and 25 cars on Wednesdays, the maximum parking duration is 1.68 hours for motorbikes on Sundays and the maximum parking duration is 1.82 hours for vehicles cars on Wednesdays, the largest parking volume for motorbikes is 505 vehicles on Wednesdays and cars are 174 vehicles on Sundays, the maximum parking turnover rate for motorbikes ranges from 2.29-3.68 times in 1 day and for cars range between 2.38-4.48 times in 1 day. Based on the Z value obtained of 68 SRP for motorbikes, the motorbike parking space can meet parking needs, because the available parking space is 137 SRP, Based on the Z value obtained for car is 24 SRP, then the car parking space can meet parking needs, because parking spaces are available at 39 SRP. From the research results it is clear that the parking area can meet parking needs.

Abstract

Non-destructive tests are currently widely used in evaluating the quality of concrete installed in the field. One NDT is using the Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) method. In general, the use of UPV in concrete is to estimate concrete strength, determine the homogeneity of concrete and detect concrete damage, for example the presence of voids or cracks. This research is intended to determine the accuracy of UPV test results in detecting concrete cracks at several variations in crack depth. In this research, the UPV tool validation process was carried out by making 1 type of test object. Namely 1 beam specimen for testing crack depth (UPV) with 6 variations of artificial cracks where the artificial cracks are made using plywood. Each sample has been treated so that it can describe the crack depth according to the existing plan. In testing, it was found that the estimated crack depth in variation I was 33.2 mm deep, variation II was 18.8 mm deep, variation III was 104.4 mm deep, variation IV was 115.8 mm deep, variation V was 24.4 mm deep and variation VI 159.3 mm deep. And the average accuracy is 13.60%. The smaller the wave travel time, the smaller the crack depth, the smaller the wave emission and the longer the wave path to detect cracks. which means that the accuracy of UPV crack depth testing tends to decrease with the unevenness of the concrete surface.

Abstract

Intersections are the most important factor in determining the capacity and travel time on a road section. The development of transportation in the city of Medan has had an impact on increasing the movement of people, goods and services. This also greatly demands increased transportation facilities and infrastructure in the city of Medan. The increase in the number of vehicles that is not balanced with infrastructure will cause conflicts on roads, especially at the intersection of three Jalan-Sisingamangaraja Jalan .Alfalah To anticipate This requires further study or research. In this research, analysis of intersection performance calculations uses the 1997 (MKJI) guidelines. The survey was carried out on Monday 14 August 2023 to 20 August 2023. Then the peak hours were searched for the volume of vehicle flow crossing the three intersections. Then create a new cycle time for the intersection. The results of the analysis in this research, from survey results, by looking for new cycle times to reduce queue lengths and delays (Delay). The new cycle time obtained to reduce queue lengths and delays for the three intersections on the northern approach is 859.927 seconds/intersection. Then at the southern approach with a total delay of 2,056,013 sec/intersection and at the western approach with a delay of 307,555 sec/intersection. For existing conditions the queue length (QL) is 1321 meters for the northern approach, (QL) 1372 meters for the southern approach and (QL) 1321 meters for the west

Abstract

The road environment not only influences the physical aspects of a city but also significantly impacts the psychological state of road users. This study aims to explore the relationship between road infrastructure such as sidewalk design, lighting, and signage, with perceptions of urban aesthetics and road psychology within the context of detailed urban development. Qualitative research methods were employed, including field observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, to assess how these factors affect the behaviors and feelings of road users and surrounding residents. Findings indicate that well-designed road infrastructure can enhance feelings of safety, comfort, and visual satisfaction among road users, whereas poor integration may lead to stress and discomfort. The implications of this research underscore the importance of considering psychological aspects in the planning and development of detailed urban environments to create road environments that are not only functional but also support the psychological well-being of the community.
