Abstract

In today’s era of globalization and technology, studying classical texts is increasingly challenging, often hindered by classical Arabic and passive traditional methods that make comprehension difficult. Innovation is needed to ease Arabic understanding while preserving Islamic scholarly values. This study aims to enhance reading and comprehension skills in Matan Ghayah wa Taqrib through the Quantum Reading Method of Kitab Al-Lubab at MTs Progresif Bumi Shalawat Tulangan Sidoarjo. Using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, teachers and students are involved in planning, action, observation, and reflection. The stages include identifying problems, analyzing causes, determining solutions, designing training, and implementing gradually. The results of the Quantum Reading Kitab Al-Lubab program show a significant improvement in reading speed, comprehension, and cognitive competence. Students become more active, engaged, and focused. This method proves effective and relevant for the modern generation and serves as a strategic approach to strengthening religious literacy and enhancing Islamic education quality in madrasah.   Di tengah era globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi saat ini, mempelajari teks-teks klasik menjadi semakin menantang namun prosesnya kerap terhambat oleh bahasa Arab klasik dan metode tradisional yang pasif, sehingga kesulitan memahami isi teks. Dibutuhkan inovasi untuk mempermudah dalam memahami bahasa Arab dan tetap menjaga nilai-nilai keilmuan Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi membaca dan memahami kitab Matan Ghayah wa Taqrib melalui penerapan Metode Quantum Reading Kitab Al Lubab di MTs Progresif Bumi Shalawat Tulangan Sidoarjo. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR), melibatkan guru dan peserta didik dalam perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Tahapannya mencakup identifikasi masalah, analisis akar penyebab, penentuan solusi, perancangan pelatihan, serta implementasi bertahap. Hasil PKM Quantum Reading Kitab Al Lubab menunjukkan secara nyata peningkatan kecepatan membaca, pemahaman isi, dan kompetensi kognitif. Peserta didik menjadi lebih aktif, terlibat, serta fokus dalam pembelajaran. Metode ini terbukti efektif dan relevan bagi generasi modern, sekaligus menjadi alternatif strategis untuk memperkuat literasi keagamaan serta meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Islam di madrasah.

Abstract

Islamic character education is crucial in facing the challenges of globalization and the changing morals of the younger generation. One way to strengthen it is through the implementation of Ta'limul Muta'allim by Sheikh Az-Zarnuji, which emphasizes etiquette, sincerity, and perseverance in learning. The purpose of this activity is to see how the values ​​​​in the Ta'limul Muta'allim book are used to improve the Islamic character education of students at MTs Progresif Bumi Shalawat Tulangan Sidoarjo. The study employed the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) method, incorporating the stages of Discovery, Dream, Design, Define, and Do, to focus on the potential of teachers, students, and the madrasah environment. The results of the study indicate that implementing Ta'limul Muta'allim can strengthen Islamic character education by increasing discipline, honesty, respect for teachers, and spiritual awareness. This activity also creates a religious learning atmosphere and a harmonious relationship between teachers and students. The implementation of Ta'limul Muta'allim plays an important role in strengthening Islamic character education and can be used as a relevant learning model for madrasah.   Pendidikan karakter Islami menjadi hal penting dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi dan perubahan moral generasi muda. Salah satu upaya untuk memperkuatnya adalah melalui penerapan Ta’limul Muta’allim karya Syekh Az-Zarnuji yang menekankan adab, keikhlasan, dan ketekunan dalam belajar. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana nilai-nilai dalam kitab Ta’limul Muta’allim digunakan untuk meningkatkan pendidikan karakter Islami peserta didik di MTs Progresif Bumi Shalawat Tulangan Sidoarjo. Penelitian menggunakan metode Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) dengan tahapan Discovery, Dream, Design, Define, dan Do yang berfokus pada potensi guru, peserta didik, dan lingkungan madrasah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Ta’limul Muta’allim mampu memberikan penguatan terhadap pendidikan karakter Islami melalui peningkatan kedisiplinan, kejujuran, rasa hormat kepada guru, dan kesadaran spiritual. Kegiatan ini juga menciptakan suasana belajar yang religius serta hubungan yang harmonis antara guru dan peserta didik. Penerapan Ta’limul Muta’allim berperan penting dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter Islami dan dapat dijadikan model pembelajaran yang relevan bagi madrasah.

Abstract

Teachers use learning methods to teach students the subject matter. One of the learning methods is question and answer, which encourages students to participate directly in the learning process and show confidence when giving answers. This study aims to determine the ability of postgraduate students to teach undergraduate students about community empowerment. This study uses qualitative field research methodology as the main instrument to discuss the phenomenon of the research object. This study is very appropriate with qualitative methods because it emphasizes the very natural conditions of the research object and the researcher as the main instrument that determines the research path. The study results indicate the right strategy is needed to improve effective learning. The question-and-answer method used by postgraduate students greatly affects how effectively they learn and the interaction between the two.
