Abstract

MSMEs in Indonesia have a significant contribution to GDP, with papaya skin being one of the innovations in the MSME sector as a meat tenderizer. This research was carried out in an analysis of company design in terms of the feasibility aspect of processing papaya skin into papain products, based on literature that shows the effectiveness of papain as a meat softener. Papaya skin waste which contains papain can be made into flour and does not change its role in softening the flesh. The method of making it is through a drying process and is not too complicated so it can be an effective method and apart from that, the raw material for papaya skin waste is easy to obtain by utilizing the waste. produced from a sweets factory made from young papaya in Garut. Based on this, research was carried out to design a business for utilizing papaya skin waste for meat softening and to determine the feasibility aspect. The results show that papain products produced from 100% papaya skin meet the expected criteria. The market aspect in Garut Regency shows promising business potential considering the market demand for meat income to the Garut Regency market is 224.66 tons/year with the need for meat softener papain products estimated at 748,866 kg/month. The technical aspects in processing papain products using the drying method and the evaluation of financial aspects through calculating material costs, investment, COGS, BEP, PP, IRR and ROI confirm that this business is feasible to run with significant growth opportunities in the future.

Abstract

Company planning is an activity that can provide guidance in running a company, as well as identifying opportunities and analyzing and evaluating things that affect the company's targets. The company's design focuses on planning technical aspects, carrying out production trials to ensure product efficiency and quality by using a combination of experimental design methods and the BORDA method, as well as describing production flow mapping with operation process maps (PPO). Marketing aspects include market analysis and segmenting, targeting and positioning. Aspects of business organization and human resource needs are also taken into account. Apart from that, legal aspects and environmental aspects are also evaluated based on government regulations. Meanwhile, a feasibility study is an assessment process carried out to determine whether a project, business or activity has the capability and is feasible to implement. The feasibility study reviews financial analysis that shows profitable potential in the business, with positive feasibility indicators in cash flow calculations, a payback period of 7 months 16 days, a positive Net Present Value (NPV), and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 9.06%, exceeding MARR value is 5.75%. So the design of the presto tilapia fish business is feasible.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop soy milk products that are cheap and have many flavors and design a profitable soy milk business. The method used to achieve these two objectives is Quality Function Deployment. To design a soy milk business is done by distributing customer desire questionnaires as preferences for making soy milk products. The results of the study found that the development of powdered soy milk products with the SOYku brand resulted in 5 new flavor variants, namely chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, mango and original. With the cost of goods produced is Rp.3,168. In the cost of goods this product is obtained a profit of 20% of the total sales. Furthermore, SOYku's soy milk product business will get maximum profit if it sells 42 sachets per day with . Production is carried out together with one workforce able to get a daily production capacity of 50 sachets.

Abstract

Saat ini perkembangan minyak atsiri di dunia semakin pesat dikarenakan manfaatnya yang sangat beragam, diantaranya sebagai bahan parfum, kosmetik, obat, dan aromaterapi. Kabupaten Garut merupakan salah satu daerah yang memiliki lahan pengembangan budidaya kapulaga bahkan dikenal sebagai salah satu sentranya, maka dari itu perancangan usaha minyak atsiri kapulaga layak dianalisis untuk memanfaatkan hasil panen kapulaga yang ada di kabupaten garut. Penelitian ini berfokus pada identifikasi proses produksi dan studi kelayakan usaha dalam pengolahan kapulaga menjadi produk minyak atsiri berdasarkan aspek teknis dan aspek finansial. Berdasarkan aspek teknis, usaha minyak kapulaga layak untuk dijalankan karena pengeluaran selama kegiatan produksinya memperoleh keuntungan. Sedangkan berdasarkan aspek finansial, diperoleh data perhitungan 1 tahun dengan Harga Pokok Produksi didapatkan senilai Rp 276.720.000. Dengan minyak yang dihasilkan sebanyak 120 kg, bahan baku yang digunakan sebanyak 4800 kg. Harga jual minyak kapulaga adalah senilai Rp 3.000.000/kg dengan mengikuti harga pasaran, dengan perolehan keuntungan adalah Rp 694.000/kg. Payback period yang didapatkan adalah 1,13 tahun, BEP Operasional senilai Rp 276.720.000 atau sama dengan 94 kg, berdasarkan BEP operasional berarti harus dapat menjual minyak kapulaga sebanyak 94 kg untuk mengembalikan modal Perusahaan. Sedangkan berdasarkan BEP Investasi, penjualan minyak kapulaga harus terjual sebanyak 136 kg dalam waktu 1,13 tahun. Net Present Value didapatkan senilai Rp 72.360.000 dengan Tingkat diskonto sebesar 10% pada period ke 2, periode tersebut mengikuti waktu pengembalian modal pada perhitungan payback period. NPV didapatkan senilai Rp 59.801.653, dan IRR yang didapat pada usaha minyak kapulaga adalah sebesar 77%, maka usaha layak untuk dijalankan.
