Abstract

Garut Regency has unique characteristics, one of which is the famous souvenir industry. One of the culinary industries typical of Garut is Dodol Garut. Dodol Factory PT. Dr. However, there are still several manual processes in factory operations that have the potential to be developed into a more efficient system. This difficulty arises because inventory management is still done manually, resulting in a stock recording process that is not optimal and takes a long time because errors often occur in data management. The aim of this research is to develop business processes and information systems that can be used in managing dodol raw material warehousing. The business process method uses the FEFO (First Expired First Out) goods entry and exit system, as well as an ABC Classification-based raw material procurement decision making system. Mock-ups are used in prototype modeling to obtain the right system design. UML (Unified Modeling Language) diagrams are used to build information systems. This research resulted in a business process design and mock-up of a raw material warehouse information system. The results of the analysis are safety stock output, economic order quantity, and reorder point, where the system can calculate raw material stock and ABC classification so that it can prioritize raw material procurement.

Abstract

In fulfilling demand at PT. Garut Makmur Perkasa, the production process often experiences errors in recording and reporting, including in exchanging information between departments. This is caused by a lack of control in the recording process which still relies on manual methods and the absence of special procedures that regulate this process. Frequent errors in recording and reporting cause communication between departments to be hampered. Therefore, companies need Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) which regulate work procedures in the production process. To support this, an integrated information system is needed that can replace manual methods with digital methods. The method used in this research uses the waterfall method and SOP design uses the Cross Functional Flowchart method combined with narrative. This research only reaches the prototype stage of the manufacturing information system which was created using Canva web design simulation. This research produced a draft Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the production department, wetblue leather warehouse department, and finished goods warehouse department to help the company maintain employee consistency and performance. And a manufacturing information system to make it easier for employees to manage the recording process and exchange information between departments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah produk yang harus di produksi untuk periode berikutnya dan mengetahui kapasitas produksi perusahaan. Pendekatan masalah yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan Material Requirement Planning (MRP) dengan metode perencanaan agregat, jadwal induk produksi dan Rought Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada stasiun 1 dan stasiun 2 adanya perubahan pada kapasitas produksi. Untuk stasiun 1 kapasitas produksi masih belum mencukupi, sedangakan pada stasiun 2 kapasitas produksi berlebih sehingga akan mengakibatkan terjadinya waktu pekerja yang menganggur. Untuk mengefisiensikan waktu dan biaya, maka dari itu dilakukan perpindahan pekerja dari stasiun 2 dipindahkan ke stasiun 1

Abstract

This research discusses the analysis of work systems in brick making in small brick businesses. In this business, there are complaints from workers who often complain of pain in several parts of their body after they work. There are several complaints of musculoskeletal disorders experienced by workers, especially during the process of taking bricks to the drying area. Some of the work postures produced include a bent posture for quite a long time. The aim of the research is to improve the work system in brick making in terms of ergonomics related to work posture analysis, designing tools and improving work methods. The method used is a qualitative method guided by the Rapid Upper Assessment (RULA) posture analysis method. The results of the research show that the risk is high. After finding an unfavorable working posture, a tool is made that can change the work posture that is not suitable when working to a better one. The tool designed is making a drying mat in the form of an ergonomic rack.

Abstract

KN. COLLECTION is a factory that produces skullcaps, located at Kp. By the way, Samarang Garut. In production which involves human labor and the workplace environment, there are dangerous factors that can harm workers' health. One of them is dust in the workplace environment. while in room area 2 (Manual Knitting Machine) it is 150 AQI. The dust content value in these two areas has exceeded the threshold value of 60 AQI. Data collection was carried out using quantitative data collection techniques, namely sampling 30 data, then testing the data for normality using SPSS with the Kolgomorv Smirnov method, the results showed that the data was normally distributed. Based on the control analysis that has been carried out using the FMEA method to find the cause of the air pollution that occurred in the production work room of KN. COLLECTION. In the risk assessment process using FMEA, the assessment components are divided into 3 components, namely Occurrence, Risk Impact and Risk Detection. The research carried out has the aim of obtaining results (output) in the form of proposed improvements that can be implemented by the company to minimize air pollution that occurs in the company. Namely, with the proposal to add an Exhaust Fan from the inside out to regulate the release of dust from inside the room out of the room, to help ensure indoor air circulation remains clean, healthy and fresh. As well as the proposed filter on the machine that emits dust, a drainage channel for the dust is also created, in order to minimize the dust produced by the automatic knitting machine at KN. COLLECTION and creating a clean and comfortable work environment for production.

Abstract

Poor working posture can cause a number of problems in the workplace which can result in accidental losses for employees. One of the consequences that can arise from these activities is musculoskeletal complaints. The aim of this research is to determine the body positions used when working in the jelly making process which can cause injuries based on complaints from production operators. The research data used is the mix method and NBM questionnaire method, RULA and REBA methods to identify musculoskeletal complaints among operators to ascertain the level of body posture hazards and the EFD method to design ergonomic assistive devices. The results of the research obtained from the NBM questionnaire from 9 operators revealed that the most common complaint was pain in the left forearm, which was 11% of all complaints and 67% of them were very painful. The REBA method for mixing raw materials gets a level-2 action rating, while RULA for packaging activities gets a level-3 action rating. The highest level of activity in the packaging area is the basis for creating ergonomic tools.

Abstract

PD Intan Bestory is a company engaged in the production of traditional food, namely dodol, by upholding traditional production methods that have been passed down from generation to generation. Among the various stages involved in making dodol, the kneading process plays a key role. However, this process has the potential for serious health risks for workers in the long term. Repetitive actions and excessive use of force in this process often result in various health problems, such as injuries to the hands, arms, wrists, feet and shoulders, which must be addressed. The aim of this research is to design an ergonomic dodol mixer to increase operator comfort during the mixing process and reduce the risk of injury. The method used in designing this tool is Ergonomic Function Deployment (EFD), which starts with an in-depth understanding of the operator's needs for the new tool and continues with anthropometric analysis to determine appropriate dimensions. Next, design evaluation was carried out using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method to assess the operator's posture while using the designed tool. It is hoped that dodol entrepreneurs can provide education to employees in operating tools to maximize function in supporting the production process. Using this tool will not only increase work comfort for employees, but also has the potential to increase overall productivity in the long term.

Abstract

At Thexild Apparel Convection, there is a problem that workers often experience complaints of Musculoskeletal (Muscle) pain while working, which causes workers to often ask for additional time off because they feel this pain, causing work productivity to decrease. The aim of this research is to design ergonomic tailoring chairs and tables to increase work productivity. The methods used in this research are the Nordic Body Map to identify pain complaints, EFD (Ergonomic Function Deployment) and Anthropometrics are used to design products, and the RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) Method is used to analyze product design results. The results of this research resulted in an ergonomic design of tailor's chairs and tables by applying a stabilizer feature where the position of the chairs and tailor's tables could be adjusted to reduce complaints of musculoskeletal (muscle) pain felt by workers. Then, making the tailor's table multi-functional from being usually only used for sewing, this design is also made for cutting work, patterning raw materials to be sewn, then also adds a place to store raw materials to be sewn and those that have already been sewn. Therefore, workers will be more productive and will not need to ask for additional rest time, which will increase work productivity by 45.33% from before.

Abstract

Walking is a simple means in the transportation system. A pedestrian who walks regularly will nourish his body. The activity of walking to or from a place for activities such as work or college can be done every day. Sports activities that do not feel done, but are good for the body. The activity of walking to work must have sufficient distance so that when you arrive at work your body is still fresh and not tired. The purpose of this study is to determine the ergonomic mileage for pedestrians who will carry out activities such as workers or students. The method used in this study uses quantitative methods using descriptive statistics. Data collection was carried out with primary data which was carried out on a sample of students and office workers. The sample will be asked to walk on a treadmill assuming an unimpeded walk on a pedestrian path and at a relatively constant speed. To find out how far the ergonomic distance can be taken by the respondent in normal conditions or not feeling tired, the mileage is calculated until the heart rate reaches 125 beats/minute which is the lower limit of heart rate for heavy workload classification. The results showed that the average ergonomic distance that can be achieved is 744.69 meters for students and 522 meters for workers. Research also shows that the distance traveled is influenced by age, weight, and exercise habits. The results of this ergonomic mileage can be used for designing building layouts, parking space distances, pedestrian paths, setting the distance for resting seats on pedestrian paths, and so on.
