Abstract

Pesantren merupakan lembaga yang dinilai mampu membawa peserta didik menjadi insan yang berkarakter multikultural berdasarkan Al-Quran dan Al-Hadist. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi kepustakaan ini akan mengulas hal tersebut. Analisis datanya adalah content analisis dengan memilah-milah data yang sesuai. Pertama, pendidikan multikultural dalam konteks pesantren dapat diartikan sebagai bimbingan jasmani dan rohani berdasarkan hukum-hukum agama Islam menuju kepada terbentuknya kepribadian yang multikultural menurut ukuran-ukuran Islam, yaitu Al-Quran dan Al-Hadist. Kedua, pendidikan multikultural dalam konteks pesantren berupa nilai mengembangkan kemampuan saling mengenal, menerima, menghargai, dan merayakan keragaman kultural, signifikan dengan Al-Quran berikut: QS. Al-Baqarah: 256, QS. Al-Kafirun: 6, QS. Yunus: 99, QS. Al-Syura: 15, dan lainnya. Ketiga, pendidikan multikultural dalam konteks pesantren berupa nilai pengajaran & pembelajaran yang diarahkan pada nilai demokratis, signifikan dengan Al-Quran berikut: QS. Ali Imran: 159, QS. Al-Syura: 38, dan lainnya. Keempat, pendidikan multikultural dalam konteks pesantren berupa nilai pembelajaran yang bebas dari rasisme, seksisme, bentuk dominasi sosial, bentuk intoleran lainnya; pendidikan yang melibatkan lebih satu budaya yang meliputi bahasa, etnis, dan ras; serta pendidikan yang diaplikasikan pada semua mata pelajaran dengan menggunakan perbedaan kultur, meliputi perbedaan agama, etnis, bahasa, gender, kelas sosial, kemampuan, dan usia, signifikan dengan Al-Quran berikut: QS. Al-Hujurat: 13, QS. Al-Rum: 22, QS. Al-Kafirun: 6, dan lainnya.

Abstract

Along with the development of science and technology, the construction of Islamic scholarship continues to change from time to time. In every era, there must always be a renewal in constructing Islamic scholarship so that it is not left behind with the progress of the times. Research with this literature study resulted in the following conclusions. First, until now the construction of Islamic scholarship has passed through three stages, namely: traditionalism which is characterized by normative-theological, modernism which is empirical-sociological, and postmodernism which is characterized by holistic-integrative Second, the current era of postmodernism is an era of seeking the right form or model for ending the dichotomy of religion and general science. Third, the era of holistic-integrative Islamic scientific postmodernism is classified in the humanities sciences (al-ilmu al-insaniyah) which includes, among others; sociology, anthropology, psychology, history, social institutions, Basic Natural Sciences, Basic Cultural Sciences, and Basic Social Sciences, which are presented with a scientific approach. Thus, holistic-integrative Islamic scholarship in the current era of postmodernism must include these humanities sciences in Islamic scientific disciplines to be able to answer and face the development of an increasingly globalized era.

Abstract

Interactive Educational Media Based on Islamic Values to Foster the Religious Character of Early Childhood at TAB Syuhada’ Haji, Blitar. This study aims to describe the implementation of interactive educational media based on Islamic values in fostering the religious character of early childhood learners at Taman Asuh Bayi (TAB) Syuhada’ Haji, Blitar City. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The focus of the study was directed toward the use of learning media that integrate Islamic values through prayer activities, exemplary stories of the prophets, introduction to hijaiyah letters, habituation of worship practices, and thematic play activities in accordance with the developmental characteristics of early childhood.The findings indicate that interactive educational media based on Islamic values are able to increase children’s active engagement in the learning process and facilitate the internalization of religious values in a natural and sustainable manner. Children demonstrated the development of religious character traits such as gratitude, discipline in worship, polite and respectful behavior, and a sense of love for Allah and His Messenger. The media used were simple, contextual, and made use of the surrounding environment, thereby making the learning process more meaningful.This study concludes that the use of interactive educational media grounded in Islamic values plays a significant role in shaping the religious character of early childhood learners and can be considered an effective strategy for character-based early childhood education.
