Abstract

Religion is something that is very important for every human being to have. Instilling religious values ​​must start from an early age. The role of parents is very influential in the formation of religious values ​​in children. Educational Institutions as a forum for solutions for parents who are unable to nurture and educate their children well. TAB Syuhada' Haji is one of the Islamic Education Institutions which operates in the field of early childhood education. As for the qualitative approach, data was collected from in-depth interviews, observations and documentation at KB TAB Syuhada Haji, Blitar. The research results show that parents play a strategic role through example, habituation, direct education, and creating an Islamic environment. Supporting factors include a good understanding of religion and sufficient time, while inhibiting factors include busy parents and the influence of modern media. Integrative strategies involving religious education at home and school have proven effective in forming the character of children who are faithful and devout. This research recommends an Islamic parenting approach that is relevant to facing the challenges of the modern era.

Abstract

Character formation for early childhood is something urgent that must be done by the family, school, and community. Without the involvement of all parties, character formation cannot get maximum results. This descriptive qualitative research with literature study discusses the formation of character in early childhood in the school and community environment. The data analysis technique is using content analysis by sorting out data according to the objectives and research problems. This paper produces the following conclusions. First, the formation of character in early childhood in the school environment is largely determined by teachers who act as evaluators, motivators, counselors, mentors, educators, role models, development designers, consultants, and mediators. Second, the formation of character in early childhood in the community must pay attention to several challenges as follows, among others: the negative impact of television, the negative impact of promiscuity, the negative impact of the internet, the negative impact of karaoke places, the negative impact of gadgets and smartphones that are not controlled by parents, and the adverse effects of tourist attractions. In addition, character education should be carried out in a conducive environment. Character education needs to be carefully planned by stakeholders, such as think tanks, both from character experts (morals) such as clergy (religious leaders), non-formal leaders (community leaders), school principals, teachers, parents, and others.

Abstract

The formation of cultural values ​​and national character must start from an early age. Because, early childhood is a sensitive period that has very rapid physical, motor, intellectual, and social development. This descriptive qualitative research using a literature study examines how to shape cultural values ​​and national character in early childhood. The data analysis technique uses content analysis by sorting out data according to the problem and research objectives. This paper produces several things as follows. First, some cultural values ​​and national character that must be formed in early childhood according to the Ministry of National Education, including religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creativity, independence, democratic, curiosity, national spirit, love for the homeland, appreciate achievement, friendly, love peace, love to read, care for the environment, care about social, and responsibility. Second, several other character elements that must be built in early childhood, including initiative, ethics, critical thinking, willingness to learn, commitment, motivation, enthusiasm, reliability, verbal communication, creativity, analytical ability, can cope with stress, management of self, able to solve problems, can summarize, cooperative, flexible, teamwork, independent, able to listen, tough, logical argumentation, and time management

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to (1) describe efforts to develop children's numeracy skills through the method of playing number cards (2) describe improving the learning process in children's numeracy skills through the method of playing number cards. The subjects in this research were students from the Venus KB Budi Mulia Al Bayaan group for the 2022/2023 academic year. This research is collaborative between researchers and class teachers. The data is used to determine the increase in children's numeracy skills and to understand the learning process through number card games through observation and field notes. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative with interactive analysis based on the results of observations of learning activities and the results of actions that have been taken. The results of this research show that there is a significant increase in children's numeracy skills in the learning process using the number card method. Based on this, it can be seen from the child's abilities which include two indicators, namely counting number cards and counting number cards 1 -10. Before the action was carried out, the child's numeracy ability value was 13%, after the action in cycle I was carried out it increased to 75%, and at the end of the action in cycle II it increased to 95%. This research concludes that the application of the number card method in learning at the Budi Mulia Al Bayaan KB can improve children's numeracy skills.

Abstract

An Islamic religious education teacher is required to develop his performance so that students are always ready to face the world of work. This qualitative descriptive research using literature study will examine the development of the performance of Islamic religious education teachers for students in facing the world of work. The data analysis technique uses content analysis by sorting data according to the problem and research objectives. This article finds several things as follows. First, in developing their performance, an Islamic religious education teacher must have the following five criteria, including: commitment to students in the learning process, must master the material, carry out evaluations, be able to think systematically, and be part of society in their professional environment. Second, in developing his performance, an Islamic religious education teacher must be able to be a corrector, inspirer, informer, motivator, initiator and facilitator. Also, an Islamic religious education teacher must master several teaching methods, including: lecture methods, exercises, question and answer, discussions, experiments, assignments, field trips, socio-drama, and the like. Third, to prepare students for the world of work, an Islamic religious education teacher must formulate a curriculum that suits the needs of society, that is in line with developments in science and technology, and that suits individual needs. Fourth, to balance the curriculum with the field of work, an Islamic religious education teacher must pay attention to skills education which is usually directed at employment preparation, directed at several types of work and in accordance with his field of expertise.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang perbandingan antara kelompok surah yang berbasis pada susunan Qur’an mushafi dan susunan histori. Masing-masing dari kelompok surah merujuk pada perspektif ilmuwan Muslim Raymond Farrin dan ilmuwan Barat Theodore Noldeke. Pendekatan yang digunakan yakni pendekatan komparatif dan strukturalisme, sedangkan metodenya menerapkan penelitian kepustakaan. Kebaruan dari penelitian ini tidak lain adalah memberikan perspektif yang lebih kekinian mengenai susunan al-Qur’an. Urgensinya adalah untuk dapat membedakan al-Qur’an yang tersusun secara tauqifi dan tersusun menurut kronologi turunnya ayat. Di samping itu, penelitian ini juga dilakukan dengan tujuan agar mampu menjawab tanggapan miring dari para orientalis yang menganggap al-Qur’an tidak beraturan. Adapun luaran yang ditargetkan ialah arikel jurnal penelitian yang dipublikasi.
