Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, untuk memberikan pemahaman mendalam proses perpindahan kalor dalam pembuatan jenang, termasuk bahan-bahan dan alat yang digunakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasilnya kombinasi dari ketiga mekanisme perpindahan kalor tersebut meningkatkan efisiensi pemanasan dalam pembuatan jenang. Konduksi memastikan transfer panas yang cepat dari sumber panas ke bahan jenang, konveksi menyebarkan panas secara merata di dalam wajan, dan radiasi membantu mencapai suhu kematangan yang diinginkan secara efisien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mampu mengetahui bagaimana perpindahan kalor memengaruhi proses pembuatan jenang dan memahami konsep dasar perpindahan kalor, dan mampu mengidentifikasi dan membedakan proses konduksi, konveksi, dan radiasi dalam proses pembuatan jenang.

Abstract

The low ability of primary school students to write pantun (traditional Indonesian poetry) remains a major issue, primarily due to a lack of understanding of pantun structure and rules, the dominance of conventional teaching methods, limited use of interactive media, and minimal integration of local values into learning materials. This study aims to develop and evaluate the feasibility of an interactive digital learning medium named EMOSA PANDADI (E-Modul Sastra Pantun dengan Kearifan Lokal Purwodadi) to enhance pantun writing literacy among fifth-grade students. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Validation was conducted by subject matter and media experts, along with practicality testing by teachers and students. Validation results indicate that the media is highly feasible, with an average score of 4.6 from content experts and 4.2 from media experts. Teacher responses yielded an average score of 4.5, while student learning outcomes improved from a pretest score of 58 to a posttest score of 86, with an N-Gain value of 0.66, categorized as moderate to high. Students also responded very positively, with an average score of 4.5. The study concludes that the EMOSA PANDADI flipbook is both effective and suitable for use in Indonesian language instruction, particularly in pantun writing. The media not only improves learning outcomes but also fosters literacy enthusiasm through an interactive, enjoyable, and culturally grounded approach, making it highly relevant for promoting independent learning and strengthening student character.

Abstract

Introduction/Primary Objective: This study aims to describe the validation and practicality of PALACA (Numeric Board) media as a mathematics learning aid on the material of enumerated numbers for grade IV elementary school students. Research Methods : The media was developed using the Research and Development (R&D) method with a modified Borg and Gall model. Validation was conducted by media experts, material experts, and educational practitioners to assess the feasibility of using the media in learning. Findings/Results: The validation results show that PALACA media obtained an average score of 4.8 from media experts and practitioners, as well as 4.0 from material experts, which indicates that this media is very suitable for use. The results of the teacher's practicality test of the media reached 96.6% and the students' responses amounted to 95% which showed very good acceptance from direct users. PALACA media is considered to be able to increase students' motivation and understanding of the concept of counting numbers through a concrete and interactive approach. Conclusion :  Thus, this media can be an effective alternative in learning mathematics in elementary schools. This research also contributes to the development of visual-based and participatory learning media. However, the trial was conducted on a limited scale so further research needs to be done with a larger sample to strengthen the generalization of the results.
