Abstract

This study examines the role of student activities in supporting the development of children in orphanages. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, the research involved in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, focusing on academic, emotional, and social aspects. Through brief visits, students conducted various activities such as education, ice-breaking, and the development of a mini-library. The findings show that student activities can enhance children's learning motivation, cognitive skills, and self-confidence. Additionally, these activities also strengthen empathy and social communication skills. Despite the significant positive impact, the limited duration of the visits poses a challenge in creating long-term changes. Therefore, this study recommends increasing the frequency of activities, developing long-distance mentoring programs, and collaborating with local educational institutions. These suggestions are expected to enhance the effectiveness of student programs in supporting the development of orphanage children and promoting social awareness among students.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini membahas penerapan Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) pada UMKM Angkringan Solo Monggo Pinarak di Kota Batam yang menghadapi tantangan promosi digital dan pembangunan loyalitas pelanggan. Topik ini penting karena persaingan kuliner yang semakin tinggi menuntut strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang konsisten dan efektif. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi lapangan, analisis konten media sosial, dan wawancara dengan pemilik. Penerapan IMC mencakup advertising melalui unggahan foto dan video di Instagram, public relations melalui interaksi langsung dan respons cepat kepada pelanggan, brand communication yang menonjolkan nilai keramahan budaya Jawa, serta customer loyalty melalui pelayanan yang hangat dan konsisten. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan awareness, keterlibatan pelanggan, serta citra positif terhadap keotentikan konsep angkringan. Namun ditemukan keterbatasan berupa ketergantungan pada satu platform, jadwal konten yang belum teratur, dan minimnya pemanfaatan fitur promosi berbayar. Penguatan strategi digital disarankan melalui kalender konten, analitik performa, dan kolaborasi dengan influencer. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan IMC terbukti penting untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan mempertahankan loyalitas pelanggan pada UMKM kuliner di era digital.
