Abstract

This research is a research development practicum guide in the field of chemistry education. The aims of this research are (1) to obtain a practicum guide based on the Discovery type syntax, (2) the significant difference in the improvement of learning outcomes that are learned using the existing practicum guides at school with the Discovery type practicum guides, (3) the effectiveness of the learning process taught by using the Discovery type practicum guide. using the Discovery type practicum guide. The stages in this research are (1) Syntax analysis of the Discovery learning model to determine the components of the chemical practicum guide according to the Discovery type, (2) Compile and develop a chemical practicum guide on acid-base solution materials according to the Discovery type syntax, (3) Standardization or feasibility test of practicum guides for teacher validators, (4) Implementation of practicum guides for class XI students of SMA Negeri Unggul Sigli, (5) Analyzing the effectiveness of the Discovery type practicum guide in learning Acid-Base Solutions that have been tested. The results of the feasibility test for the Discovery type practicum guide 3.41 and the practicum guide at school 2.31. While the effectiveness of the use of the Discovery type practicum guide and the practicum guide commonly used in schools, judging by student learning outcomes, it is known that the experimental class I which uses the Discovery type practicum guide is an average of 86.00 with an increase in learning outcomes of 71.4% while the experimental class II which uses a practicum guide in the LKS an average of 61.75 with an increase in learning outcomes of 58.8%. So it can be concluded that the Discovery type practicum guide and the practicum guide being studied are feasible to be used as practicum guides in schools, with increased learning outcomes using the Discovery type practicum guide being higher in value than the existing practicum guides in the lectures.Keywords: Development of Practicum Guide, Type of Discovery.

Abstract

Project-based learning involves (1) students investigating important ideas and asking questions, (2) finding understanding in the process of investigating, (3) according to their needs and interests, (4) producing products and thinking creatively, (5) being critical and skilled in investigating and concluding material, and (6) connecting with real-world, authentic problems and issues. The Discovery Learning learning paradigm requires the instructor to supervise and steer student learning activities according to the goals—conditions like these desire to shift teaching and learning from teacher-centered to student-centered. R&D and experimentation are used in this study. After the research, statistics were used to compare student learning results from both practicum guides with distinct approach strategies. The Discovery practicum guide is the independent variable. Project-based learning and character qualities, whereas student learning results are the dependent variable. The average pretest score in Experimental Class I and II, Discovery Model practical guideIn a row, the Project-Based Learning Model is 53.00±8.65183375 and 56.00±11.91704748The average posttest score in Experimental Class I, Discovery model practical guide, and Experimental Class II, practical guideProject Based Learning Model: 86.00±9.045920836, 81.75±13.95110653. Establishing the normalized gain value of scientific learning outcomes in the class was important since students' average pretest and posttest scores in the science experiment differed. The Discovery Model practical guide is more successful for teaching and learning, particularly for heat and explanation information, than the Experimental Model. Project-based learning is best with the Discovery Model practical guide.

Abstract

This Community Service Program implements a technology-based empowerment model for optimizing Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) and Vatarana production in Pidie Regency, Aceh. Utilizing a mixed-method approach with sequential explanatory design, the program was conducted over 12 months (2023-2024) involving 32 members from two business groups. Technological intervention was carried out through the implementation of an Automatic Flash Oil system that integrates automation with cold extraction principles. Results showed significant improvements in: (1) production efficiency (47.3%, p<0.01) with process time reduction from 168 hours to 36 hours per batch; (2) product quality meeting SNI 7381:2008 standards across all parameters; (3) increased business income (35.2%, p<0.01); and (4) marketing network expansion to 12 provinces. Multivariate analysis indicated a strong correlation (r=0.78) between technology adoption and income improvement. This program contributes to the development of a replicable technology-based SME empowerment model, with an 85% sustainability rate after 6 months of implementation.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan tumbuh pendek (gagal tumbuh) pertumbuhan yang tidak normal pada tubuh maupun otak, sehingga mengakibatkan perkembangan kognitif, motorik dan perkembangan  berbicara menurun. Stunting adalah  gagal tumbuh pada usia balita atau di bawah 5 tahun. Angka stunting di indonesia sangat tingggi mencapai 30,8% dan aceh termasuk didalamnya. Stunting terjadi karena kekurangan gizi, ini disebabkan karena kurangnya informasi dan pemahaman tentang stunting terhadap masyarakat sehingga pemenuhan gizi bagi masyarakat kurang sejak ibu hamil, balita dan batita. Rumusan masalah dalam kegiatan ini adalah kurangnya pemahaman atau pengetahuan masyarakat Trieng Cudo Baroh tentang stunting. Tujuannya memberikan pelatihan tentang pemahaman tentang efek terjadinya stunting dan cara pencegahannya. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan adalah memberikan pelatihan tentang pengetahuan stunting di Gampong Trieng Cudo Baroh agar dapat memanfaatkan sayur dan buah yang ada didaerah tersebut sebagai makanan yang bergizi dalam pencegahan stunting di gampong Trieng Cudo Baroh. Hasil mendapat efek positif dari masyarakat dan masyarakat sangat berantusias dalam memanfaatkan jenis sayur-sayuran dan buah-buahan yang ada didaerah mereka sebagai makanan yang sehat dan memiliki nilai gizi yang dapat mencegah terjadinya Stunting di gampong Trieng Cudo Baroh Kecamatan Tiro/Trusep Kabupaten Pidie.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pelatihan Pemasaran berbasis digital (digital marketing) terhadap pemanfaatan hasil olahan etnobotani  jenis tumbuhan rimpang sebagai obat berkhasiat dari alam memberikan manfaat dalam konservasi tumbuhan di lingkungan sekitar masyarakat Gampong Meunasah Papeun Kecamatan Krueng Barona Jaya Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Keigatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dalam memanfaatkan jenis tumbuhan rimpang yang berpotensi dapat menjadi obat berkhasiat bagi masyarakat serta dapat dipasarkan ke masyarakat luas sebagai upaya meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat kelompok PKK selain itu, dapat masyarakat dapat memasarkan produk melalui media sosial misalnya facebook, Instagram, tiktok, youtube dan media sosial lain sebagainya. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan pada permasalahan masyarakat di lapangan yaitu kurangnya kemampuan masyarakat dalam melakukan pemasaran produk, serta masih kurangnya pemahaman dalam menggunakan handphone (gadget). Metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu: pengabdian dilakukan dengan bentuk pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada masyarakat kelompok PKK gampong meunasah papeun, Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di gampong meunasah papeun terdiri dari ketua dan anggota bertindak sebagai instruktur dan fasilitator dalam memberikan instruksi pada pelatihan dan pendampingan dengan ragam kegiatan diantaranya: melakukan pelatihan branding produk yang dapat menarik minat beli hasil olahan tumbuhan rimpang, melaksanakan pelatihan pemasaran online serta melakukan program pendampingan dalam pembuatan akun media sosial. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan dalam hal pengemasan produk olahan etnobotani tumbuhan rimpang yang lebih baik dan menarik bagi konsumen, masyarakat memiliki kemampuan yang lebih baik dalam menggunakan gadget untuk kegiatan produk secara pemasaran online, serta adanya dorongan bagi masyarakat kelompok PKK untuk mengatur usaha dari hasil olahan etnobotani tumbuhan rimpang sebagai obat yang berkhasiat.

Abstract

Research with the title Application of the Inquiry Learning Model in Biology Scope Material to Improve Learners Learning Outcomes at SMA Negeri 1 Mutiara. This research aims to determine the improvement in learners' learning outcomes through the application of the inquiry learning model to biology scope material at SMA Negeri 1 Mutiara. The population is all learners of class X MIPA SMA N 1 Mutiara consisting of 6 classes with a total of 180 learners. Of the six classes by using a random sampling technique (random method) to determine the experimental class and control class. The data collection technique for this research is a test technique in the form of 25 multiple-choice questions. From the results of data analysis, it was obtained that tcountttable was 4.511.67 at a significance level of 0.05. Based on these data, the hypothesis formulated, namely that the application of the Inkuri learning model can increase learners ' understanding of learning concepts in biology scope material in class X SMA N 1 Mutiara, can be accepted as true.Keywords : Inquiry Learning Model, Learning Outcomes, Scope of Biology
