Abstract

Learning media that is less interesting can trigger bad responses given by students during learning. One of the interesting learning media for students is through games. This research uses descriptive quantitative methods to describe the level of student satisfaction after participating in learning using problem-based learning-based truth or dare games. The data collection technique in this research is in the form of a questionnaire containing closed statements and includes 3 indicators using a Likert scale. This research was carried out at SMPN 2 Sumobito with research subjects in class VII-C even semester of 2023/2024. The results obtained were that the cognitive indicators produced a percentage value of 79% (very strong), affective 79% (very strong), and conative 81% (very strong). The overall response value percentage is 80% in the very strong category. Keywords: Truth or Dare, Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Level of Satisfaction

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi representasi nilai-nilai moral dalam novel Lelaki Langit karya Usman Arrumy. Novel tersebut merepresentasikan perjalanan spiritual tokoh utama yang sarat dengan konflik batin dan pencarian eksistensial terhadap makna kehidupan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi untuk mengidentifikasi elemen-elemen moral yang terkandung dalam teks. Data dikumpulkan dari narasi, dialog, dan kutipan tokoh yang relevan dengan aspek nilai moral. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa novel Lelaki Langit memuat berbagai nilai moral, antara lain ketulusan, keikhlasan, tanggung jawab, kebijaksanaan, dan kasih sayang. Nilai-nilai tersebut direpresentasikan melalui refleksi tokoh utama serta interaksinya dengan lingkungan sosial. Temuan ini memperkuat pandangan bahwa karya sastra dapat berfungsi sebagai instrumen edukatif dalam membentuk karakter dan etika pembaca. Oleh karena itu, novel ini tidak hanya memiliki nilai estetika sebagai karya sastra, tetapi juga berperan sebagai medium penyampaian nilai-nilai moral yang relevan dalam konteks kehidupan kontemporer.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought about major changes in the way Generation Z communicates, especially through social media such as TikTok, which has become a platform for linguistic expression and cultural identity. This study aims to reveal the forms and functions of code-mixing in TikTok user interactions using Suwito's (1985) theory as the basis for analysis. The approach applied is descriptive qualitative with observation techniques of user posts and comments. The results of the study identify three main types of code-mixing, namely inner code-mixing, which affirms local identit, outer code-mixing, which indicates a global orientation, and hybrid code-mixing, which reflects linguistic creativity. These findings show that code-mixing serves not only as a communication tool but also as a strategy for building self-image and negotiating social identity in the digital space. Overall, Generation Z's code-mixing practices on TikTok reflect dynamic, creative, and adaptive language skills in response to globalization.
