Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership and managerial principals on teacher performance competencies. The research method uses quantitative analysis with the hypothesis in the research, namely: First, there is an influence from the principal's leadership on teacher performance competencies. Second, there is the head's managerial influence on teacher performance competencies. Third, there is also the simultaneous influence of leadership and managerial principals on teacher performance competencies. With a population of a number of teachers and principals and their representatives at Public Junior High Schools in Bandung district in 2021. With a sample of 250 teachers, principals and their deputies, the sample was taken proportionally at random. Data collection techniques with a questionnaire using an instrument with a total of 80 statements from respondents. Quantitative analysis with statistical calculations, using simple regression correlation, and multiple regression. Conclusion (1). There is a significant influence on the principal's leadership on teacher performance competence, (2). On the significant influence of managerial principals on teacher performance competencies, (3). There is also a significant influence of the principal's leadership and managerial simultaneously on teacher performance competence, with a multiple correlation coefficient = 0.715 with a coefficient of determination = 51.0%.

Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Islam sangat penting kita ajarkan sejak anak masih kanak-kanak sebagai pondasi kehidupan anak sampai akhir hayat. Karena agama tidak hanya mengajarkan tentang apa yang harus diimani dan di ibadahi tetapi juga mengajarkan tentang nilai-nilai yang harus dipatuhi dalam kehidupan manusia, baik sebagai individu maupun mahluk sosial, dan mempunyai relevansi dengan usaha pengembangan etika sosial. Metode kegiatan yang akan disampaikan kepada para santri di TPQ Al-Hikmah Kabupaten Bandung adalah Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dengan metode iqro, tahsin, qiro’ati, ceramah, tanya jawab, serta metode kerja kelompok, metode variasi : demonstrasi, diskusi, metode latihan (praktek ibadah) dan tadabur alam. Dari hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Taman Pendidikan Al Qur’an AL-Hikmah Kabupaten Bandung disimpulkan sebagai berikut (1) Dalam pembelajaran masih ada beberapa kendala diantaranya adalah masih kurangnya penguasaan materi oleh guru, metode pembelajaran kurang variatif, kurang nya kedisiplinan santri (2) Upaya peningkatan mutu pembelajaran di TPQ Al-Hikmah Kabupaten Bandung yaitu melalui metode diskusi/ musyawarah, membaca Al-Qur’an dengan tilawati, tahsin, dukungan materi penunjang: Fiqih, Akhlak, Tarikh Islam dengan metode ceramah, metode tanya jawab, dan praktek ibadah, metode variasi : demonstrasi, diskusi, metode latihan (praktek ibadah) dan tadabur alam.

Abstract

Adalah bukan perkara yang mudah memang untuk mendidik anak hingga dewasa. Beberapa orang tua bahkan memiliki masalah pada pola asuh yang mereka lakukan pada anak mereka. Orang tua seringkali bertanya-tanya pola asuh yang bagaimana yang sesuai, apa yang terbaik untuk membimbing anak-anak mereka menjadi pribadi sebagaimana yang mereka inginkan. Pada akhirnya anak-anak terbentuk dengan sifat dan karakter yang berbeda-beda.. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran orang tua yang bekerja dalam perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia dini, dan mengetahui solusi permasalahan yang dihadapi orang tua siswa Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Penelitian tentang Peran Pola Asuh Orang Tua yang Bekerja pada Perkembangan Sosial Emosional Anak Usia Dini ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah : Pola asuh orang tua yang bekerja yang diterapkan oleh orang tua siswa Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini di bawah naungan Yayasan Al-Qomariyah di Kampung Walahir Desa Cintadamai Kecamatan Sukaresmi Kabupaten Garut belum mampu melakukan pengasuhan yang tepat pada anak hal ini terlihat dari : pengasuhan dan interaksi antara ibu yang bekerja dengan anak saangatlah kurang, pengasuhan yang dititipkan pada nenek atau kerabat tempat anak dititipkan selama ditinggal bekerja hanya sebatas memberikan fasilitas fisik, banyak anak yang terlihat menunjukkan gelagat over acting. Solusi permasalahan yang dihadapi antara lain dilakukan dengan penjelasan model pengasuhan yang tepat untuk anak usia dini (Parenting), forum diskusi berbagai permasalahan dalam hal pengasuhan anak usia dini, evaluasi pola asuh yang dilakukan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan atas dasar latar belakang dengan maraknya isu lingkungan yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya kesadaran diri terhadap lingkungan. Adapun permasalahan yang telah dirumuskan dalam penelitian ini meliputi faktor kendala dalam penanaman kesadaran diri terhhadap lingkungan, dan upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran diri terhadap lingkungan. Upaya penanaman kesadaran diri terhadap lingkungan pada anak usia dini merupakan sebuah penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan serta membentuk karakter anak agar memiliki kepedulian terhadap lingkungan. Sebab anak usia dini merupakan tahapan usia pembentukan karakter yang akan menjadi kepribadiannya suatu saat nanti.Adapun manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah diharapkan mampu membawa perubahan lingkungan yang lebih baik dengan kesadaran diri yang dimiliki oleh anak usia dini, guru, lembaga, serta masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode metode kualitatif desktiptif dengan cara observasi dan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Kendala dalam penelitian ini yaitu masih minim kesadaran diri masyarakat sekitar KB Khairina YPM Salman ITB terhadap lingkungan, dengan adanya hal tersebut maka pembiasaan yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat masih kurang tepat dan kurang baik. Upaya penanaman kesadaran diri terhadap lingkungan pada anak usia dini adalah dengan masuk ke dalam dunia anak, yaitu mencari tahu hal atau kegiatan apa yang anak suka. Secara garis besar hampir semua anak menyukai tokoh binatang, dan dengan upaya metode mendongeng anak diberikan pemahaman tentang cara menjaga lingkungan serta menumbuhkan kepedulian anak terhadap lingkungan. Upaya terakhir yang dilakukan yaitu melalui tema lingkungan dengan sub lingkungan sekolah. Dalam bentuk penugasan kerja bersama mengambil sampah yang berserakan di sekitar sekolah dan membiasakan membuang sampah pada tempatnya. Selain itu anak diajarkan untuk bercocok tanam untuk melatih rasa tanggung jawabnya untuk merawat tanaman , sehingga anak memiliki rasa senang ketika berinteraksi di lingkungan luar yang bersentuhan langsung dengan media alam yang kotor, seperti tanah.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to obtain data related to 5 characteristics of teacher attitude communication in character education which include; (1) openness, (2) empathy, (3) Tangerang support, (4) positive Tangerang, and (5) equality. This study used descriptive quantitative method with survey technique with questionnaire instrument. The population of this study involved teachers from 3 public junior high schools in Tangerang City, totaling 137 people. Through the Slovin formula with an error of 0.5%, a sample of 102.00 was obtained, rounded up to 100 teachers who were taken randomly and proportionally. The results of the study are as follows; (1) teachers' openness in communicating with students is 51.50% which is included in the moderate category; (2) teachers' empathy in communicating with students is 49.00% which is included in the moderate category which tends to be less good; (3) teachers' supportive Tangerang in communicating with students is 51.50% which is included in the moderate category; (4) teachers' positive Tangerang in communicating with students is 50.00% which is included in the moderate category which tends to be less good; and (5) teachers' equality in communicating with students is 51.00% which is included in the moderate category. Then the accumulation of each aspect or indicator mentioned above obtained data showing that the teacher's communication ethics in student character education in public junior high schools in Tangerang City is 50.50%, including the moderate category.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the leadership of the madrasa heads towards the quality of education, analysis strategy in improving the quality of education in madrasas, which has described the character of leadership, in improving the quality of madrasah education. This study uses a qualitative method. In data collection techniques using obtained through, interviews, documentation studies, and observation Data analysis with data reduction, data presentation, and verification as well as the conclusion. The results of the research presentation are that there are several strategies for the madrasa head in achieving the goals that have been jointly set by all components of the school. The strategy implemented by the head of the madrasa at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 3 Tangerang. Using a theory about the quality of education which consists of input, process, and output as well as outcomes that are already available. Strategy implementation has also been carried out regarding the lead character of the madrasah head, following data sources that lead to democratic leadership. Strategies for improving the quality of education can be seen, and receive ideas and thoughts from related parties in issuing school policies that emphasize the quality of education in madrasas.

Abstract

Purpose – This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Academic Services Management Information System (MIS) at Muhammadiyah Higher Education Institutions (PTM) in Cirebon and Bandung, evaluate its effectiveness in improving the quality of learning, and identify and address challenges in its implementation. Design/methods/approach – The study employs a qualitative approach within an interpretive paradigm, with a multiple-case study design at PTM Cirebon and Bandung during 2022. Primary and secondary data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, followed by data analysis, including information reduction and data validation. Findings – The results indicate that the Academic Services MIS at PTM has not been optimally implemented, particularly in planning and information distribution. The main challenges include limited information access and lack of effective coordination. However, the universities have taken strategic steps to address these issues, including efficient budget allocation and utilizing MIS as a learning tool. Research implications – These findings provide important insights for higher education managers in optimizing the use of Academic Services MIS. Implications include enhanced resource allocation, human resources training, and improved coordination and communication systems. The study also suggests the need for more inclusive policy strategies to address resource disparities between institutions.
