Abstract

Utilizing visuals in posts is one of the important things for a brand. Utilizing visual elements in a post is a strategy that companies can use to convey messages that can influence audience attitudes. So the purpose of this study is to determine whether Visual Posts have an influence on Self Esteem. The theory used in this research is the theory of visual elements which includes, color, typography, photography, symbolism. While the Self Esteem theory used includes significance, power, competence and virtue. This research uses quantitative methodology with survey method. The population used in this study were @skingameofficial Instagram followers who had commented on the "Born This Way" campaign post. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 93 respondents who had been counted. Sampling using the Random Sampling Technique. This research is shown by the average value of respondents' answers to the variable (X) of 4.45, this value is classified as high (Agree) and the average respondent's answer to the variable (Y) of 4.58, which is classified as high (Agree). (Y) of 4.58 which is also dominantly high (Agree). The considerable influence of the Visual Postings Campaign "Born This Way" can also be seen from the value (R) correlation of 0.796 which is said to be high or strong and the R Square value of 0.634 or 63.4% of the effect while the remaining 36.6% of the effect can be seen from the value (R) correlation of 0.796 which is said to be high or strong. and R Square value of 0.634 Or 63.4% effect while the remaining 36.6% is influenced by other things. Visuals in posts are one of the important things for a brand.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning video media to improve MAN Palangka Raya City students' understanding of the material for dealing with various kinds of tests and trials. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with a 4D model (Analysis, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The research subjects involved MAN Palangka Raya City students. The definition stage includes needs analysis, student characteristics, curriculum and materials. The design stage includes creating storyboards, scripts and visual video designs. The development stage consists of video production, material and media expert validation, and limited testing. The dissemination stage is carried out through the introduction of video media in classroom learning. Validation results from material experts show a percentage of 83.3%, which is categorized as very feasible. Meanwhile, validation from media experts received a score of 84%, also included in the very worthy category. The questionnaire given to teachers received a score of 85.5%, and the questionnaire given to students received a score of 76.5% which was categorized as adequate. The use of learning video media has been proven to increase students' understanding significantly, as shown by increased results before and after the test. This research concludes that the development of educational video media will help increase students' understanding at MAN Palangka Raya City about how to approach various kinds of tests and trials from an Islamic perspective.

Abstract

Gaya belajar adalah ciri khas yang dimiliki setiap individu dalam merespon informasi yang diterimanya. Gaya belajar dibagi menjadi 3 kategori, salah satunya adalah gaya belajar visual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis mengenai pengaruh gaya belajar visual terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Peneliti memakai pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode asosiatif deskriptif. Teknik yang digunakan adalah pengambilan sampel aksidental yang dikombinasikan dengan teknik pengambilan sampel non-probabilitas. Data diperoleh dengan penyebaran kuesioner skala likert dengan sampel sebanyak 40 siswa SMK Yadika 2 Jakarta sebagai responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya belajar visual berpengaruh pengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil korelasi positif sebesar 0,685. Nilai t hitung sebesar 5.803 dan nilai signifikansi F 0,000. Hasil nilai R-Square menunjukkan besarnya pengaruh variabel independen yaitu 0.456. Sedangkan secara menyeluruh memperlihatkan nilai korelasi (R) 0,470. Kata Kunci: Gaya Belajar, Visual, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis.

Abstract

Learning discipline is a crucial component that helps students meet their learning objectives, particularly when it comes to honing their critical thinking abilities. The purpose of this study is to examine how learning discipline affects Jakartan high school and vocational high school students' critical thinking abilities. A quantitative approach using a descriptive associative design is the study methodology employed. The sampling procedure was carried out unintentionally mixed with non-probability methods. A Likert scale questionnaire with 40 students as respondents was used to collect the data. The findings demonstrated that, partially and concurrently, studying discipline has a favorable and considerable impact on students' critical thinking abilities. With a t count of 6.176 and a F significance value of 0.000, the positive correlation value is 0.708. According to the analysis of the coefficient of determination (R-Square), learning discipline has a 50.1% impact on critical thinking abilities, with other factors influencing the remaining percentage.
