Abstract

Background. In the context of higher education, academic inequality is a serious obstacle in achieving equitable learning outcomes among students. Factors such as educational background, learning styles, and differences in mastery of material are the main triggers for this inequality. To overcome this challenge, innovative approaches such as adaptive learning based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) have emerged as a potential solution. Purpose. This research aims to investigate the potential of AI-based adaptive learning in overcoming academic inequality among students. By combining AI technology, this research seeks to provide personalized solutions tailored to each student's learning needs. Method. This research uses quantitative methods with a survey model. A total of 20 respondents were selected representatively to provide their views on learning experiences, preferences and views regarding adaptive learning. This survey provides relevant data to understand whether the implementation of AI-based adaptive learning can be considered an effective measure to reduce academic inequality. Results. The research results show that the majority of respondents face difficulties in understanding course material in general. However, most also expressed openness to the use of AI-based adaptive learning. This positive perception can be an indication of the potential success of implementing this technology as a solution to overcome academic inequality. Conclusion. Taking into account the research results, AI-based adaptive learning is promising as a solution that can align the learning needs of individual students. Although implementation challenges remain, this research provides initial impetus for further exploration of the application of AI technologies in achieving academic equity in higher education settings.

Abstract

Dari tahun 2020 sampai awal 2022, dampak pandemi Covid-19 mempengaruhi semua sektor kehidupan, khususnya sektor perekonomian masyarakat. Hal tersebut juga dirasakan oleh seluruh masyarakat desa Grobog Kulon, yang mayoritas penduduknya adalah pedagang. Dalam menghadapi dampak berkurangnya penghasilan yang didapatkan, warga desa membuka bisnis DARING merupakan pilihan yang banyak. Bisnis DARING mudah dijalankan dan tidak memerlukan modal yang sangat besar dalam memasarkan produknya. Salah satu kemudahannya adalah dengan memfoto produk, memposting atau memasarkan produk pada media sosial. Pemasaran melalui media sosial memerlukan biaya yang terjangkau, namun mempunyai pengaruh yang cukup besar. Hal tersebut belum diketahui secara profesional oleh pelaku UMKM. Bagaimana memulai bisnis daring dan bagaimana mengemas serta memasarkan produknya agar dapat diminati oleh banyak konsumen. Inilah yang menjadi alasan untuk melakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan cara memberikan pelatihan bisnis DARING dan PENGEMASAN.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi. Dengan semakin pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi, institusi pendidikan dituntut untuk beradaptasi dan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran yang inovatif untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih menarik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur, yang melibatkan analisis terhadap berbagai sumber yang relevan, termasuk jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan laporan penelitian sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, seperti video pembelajaran, kuis interaktif, dan platform pembelajaran daring, dapat meningkatkan motivasi mahasiswa untuk belajar. Interaktivitas dan fleksibilitas yang ditawarkan oleh teknologi memungkinkan mahasiswa untuk terlibat secara aktif dalam proses belajar, yang berdampak positif pada hasil akademis mereka. Meskipun demikian, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan, seperti kesenjangan akses teknologi di kalangan mahasiswa dan perlunya pelatihan bagi dosen dalam memanfaatkan teknologi dengan efektif. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar institusi pendidikan mengembangkan strategi yang inklusif untuk memastikan aksesibilitas dan pelatihan yang memadai, serta terus berinovasi dalam penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan praktik pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan inovatif di perguruan tinggi.
