Abstract

Metode kisah merupakan metode pengajaran yang efektif dalam konteks pendidikan khususnya pendidikan Islam, untuk menyampaikan sejarah dan nilai-nilai moral yang terkandung dalam kehidupan tokoh-tokoh penting seperti Utsman bin Affan. Artikel ini menguraikan tentang penerapan metode kisah dalam pembelajaran materi Utsman bin Affan, meliputi teknik bercerita, penggunaan media dan sumber belajar, serta kontekstualisasi dan adaptasi cerita sesuai tingkat pemahaman siswa. Metode ini didukung oleh berbagai teori belajar dan psikologi pendidikan yang menekankan pentingnya pengalaman dan refleksi dalam proses pembelajaran. Penggunaan metode kisah dapat memperdalam pemahaman siswa tentang sejarah Islam dan membantu mereka menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai moral seperti keberanian, kejujuran, dan kemurahan hati. Teknik penyampaian yang efektif seperti bercerita yang ekspresif dan interaktif serta penggunaan media seperti buku bergambar, video, dan teknologi interaktif dapat memperkaya pengalaman belajar siswa. Menyesuaikan dan mengadaptasi konteks cerita penting dilakukan untuk memastikan materi dapat diterima oleh siswa dengan tingkat pemahaman berbeda. Mengukur efektivitas metode kisah memerlukan penilaian dan evaluasi yang komprehensif, termasuk ujian tertulis, proyek kreatif, observasi, dan pembelajaran jangka panjang. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa metode kisah tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi, tetapi juga menciptakan sikap dan perilaku positif serta menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan jati diri keislaman siswa. Kesimpulannya, metode kisah mempunyai potensi yang besar untuk memberikan pengalaman pembelajaran yang mendalam dan bermakna dalam pendidikan Islam, khususnya dalam pengajaran sejarah dan nilai-nilai moral melalui kisah-kisah yang mengharukan seperti kehidupan Utsman bin Affan.

Abstract

Game-based learning models in elementary schools have great potential to improve student learning outcomes. This approach not only facilitates better understanding of the material but also motivates students to be significant. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of game-based learning models in improving student learning outcomes in elementary schools, especially in the context of Indonesian language learning. This study uses a literature study method by collecting secondary data in the form of previous research results that apply game-based learning models. The data analysis method used is content analysis to explore the effectiveness of various game learning models. The results of the study indicate that the application of game learning models such as ESTASI in poetry learning and Teams Games Tournament in thematic learning can significantly improve students' writing skills and their learning outcomes. For example, students involved in the ESTASI game showed increased creativity and participation in writing poetry, while students who participated in the Teams Games Tournament showed increased activity and achievement of learning outcomes. The integration of game learning models in elementary school education promises positive and sustainable results for students' academic development. This approach not only improves students' understanding and skills but also helps maintain their learning motivation. The implication of this research is the importance of implementing varied and interesting learning models to create an effective and enjoyable learning environment for students at the elementary level

Abstract

21st Century Learning is an educational concept that focuses on developing students' skills to achieve success which is influenced by technology, information and globalization. Islamic boarding schools are educational institutions that are able to prepare students to develop the skills needed for 21st century learning. This research uses qualitative methods, namely by searching for data and information whose findings are not obtained through calculations and statistical procedures so that the results are descriptive. Data collection techniques in this research are through observation, interviews, and documentation in the form of written objects such as books, magazines, documents, and so on. The results of this research show that Ma'had Al-Zaytun, which is based on the spirit but modern Islamic boarding school system, instills the skills needed in 21st century learning, including the ability to think critically in dealing with every problem, the ability to think critically, and the ability to think critically. communicate using various languages, the ability to Large Scale Collaboration (KSBB), the ability to produce products (creativity) with the help of computer technology and have a religious character that comes from the Al-Qur'an, the sunnah of Rosul Muhammad SAW, the qualities contained in Asmaul Husna and Asmaun Nabi, as well as the character of nationalism contained in the five foundations of the state (Pancasila), the 1945 Constitution and the national anthem Indonesia Raya 3 Stanza.

Abstract

English, as an international language, plays a crucial role in learning from elementary school. However, limited resources and limited exposure to foreign languages ​​often hinder learning. One approach teacher can take is to utilize visual media such as flashcards, which can help students understand vocabulary through concrete representations. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using flashcards in improving third-grade students' understanding of simple vocabulary and the sentence patterns "I like" and "I don't like." The study used a descriptive qualitative method with 41 students. Data were collected through observation, field notes, documentation, and pre- and post-learning tests. The results showed a significant improvement after the implementation of flashcards. Before the use of flashcards, only 3 students (±7.3%) were able to understand the vocabulary, while after the use of flashcards, this number increased to 38 students (±92.7%). Furthermore, students appeared more enthusiastic, easily remembered vocabulary, and were able to use it in simple sentences. The study's conclusions confirm that flashcards are effective in teaching English in elementary schools because they strengthen memory, increase motivation, and create an interactive learning environment. Abstract

This study examines the role of teachers in Indonesian language habituation as an effort to improve students' cognitive abilities in schools. There are significant challenges in accustoming students to using Indonesian due to the dominant use of regional languages ​​in their daily lives. This condition has the potential to hinder the development of students' cognitive abilities, which are closely related to language mastery. The main objective of this study is to describe the strategies implemented by teachers and identify the impact of Indonesian language habituation on students' cognitive development. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation studies related to school programs. The results indicate that teachers play a central role in the success of this habituation program. Teachers employ various strategies, such as consistently using Indonesian when communicating with students, implementing interactive and enjoyable learning methods, and integrating Indonesian into every subject. These practices positively impact students' cognitive abilities, as evidenced by their ability to understand lesson concepts, reason, and construct sentences in a more structured and logical manner. Thus, teachers' active role and creative strategies have proven effective in addressing language learning challenges and contributing significantly to students' cognitive development. Abstract

Elementary school education is a fundamental stage in the formation of character, mindset, and basic skills of students. In this phase, children are in the golden age of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development, so creative and innovative learning strategies are needed. One approach widely recommended by educational experts is the use of game media to create a fun learning atmosphere, support students' learning process, and deepen their understanding of the material. Game media is also considered appropriate for the characteristics of elementary school children. Game media such as Monopoly, this learning media creates a fun and interesting atmosphere, thereby helping students improve memory, courage in expressing opinions, understanding the material, developing knowledge, and sensitivity to issues in the surrounding environment.
