Abstract

Student ethics towards teachers is a fundamental aspect in the educational process, especially in the Islamic educational tradition. The relationship between students and teachers is not just an interaction of transferring knowledge, but also has deep moral and spiritual values. This article will explain the ethics of students towards teachers in the book Adāb al-‘Ālim wa al-Muta’allim by KH. Hasyim Asy’ari. This study uses a library research approach with primary and secondary data sources. The primary source in this study is the book Adāb al-‘Ālim wa al-Muta’allim by KH. Hasyim Asy’ari, while the secondary sources in this study are various articles related to student ethics towards teachers using descriptive analytical methods as data analysis techniques. The research findings show that the ethics of students towards teachers in the book Adab al-'Ālim wa al-Muta'allim include respecting and honoring teachers, tawadhu' or being humble, listening earnestly, not arguing or debating teachers harshly, maintaining morals and manners outside the classroom, asking permission and respecting the teacher's authority, practicing the knowledge taught, and praying for the teacher. Then the relevance includes building character and integrity, strengthening the relationship between teachers and students, maintaining the blessings of knowledge, teaching responsibility and discipline, forming a lifelong learning attitude, and avoiding individualistic attitudes and demeaning others.

Abstract

The tradition of shalawat in Indonesia continues to evolve as an inclusive medium for spiritual and social transformation. Mafia Shalawat, a community based in Ponorogo, presents a unique approach to dakwah (Islamic propagation) through shalawat practices involving individuals from non-religious backgrounds, such as former gangsters and martial artists. Grounded in QS. Al-Ahzab: 56, this community utilizes shalawat as a means to build religious identity, foster social solidarity, and resolve societal conflicts. This study aims to examine how creative interpretations of this Qur'anic verse serve as an ideological foundation for forming a new religious habitus and creating an inclusive dakwah arena. This research employs a theoretical hermeneutic approach to objectively analyze data, which is further examined using Pierre Bourdieu's ideological theory, particularly the concepts of habitus and arena. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document studies, focusing on members of the Mafia Shalawat community actively engaged in its traditions. The findings reveal that QS. Al-Ahzab: 56 serves as the ideological basis of this community, where shalawat practices not only reinforce religious values but also drive behavioral and identity transformations among members. Traditions such as maulid recitation and regular shalawat rituals act as mechanisms for habitus formation, supported by an inclusive communal environment. This community successfully overcomes social stigmas and establishes a dakwah model that aligns with contemporary needs. In conclusion, Mafia Shalawat serves as an effective example of how Islamic traditions can be adapted to promote social harmony and spirituality in modern society. This study recommends developing similar community-based dakwah models in various contexts to expand the social and spiritual impact of religious traditions.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service program is to improve the digital literacy capacity of the youth of Karang Taruna (Youth Organization) in Jerukgulung Village through the ABCD approach, enabling them to become a technologically savvy and social media-savvy generation. This community service program utilizes an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach to empower the youth of Karang Taruna in Jerukgulung Village to become a technologically savvy and social media-savvy generation. Activities included problem identification, asset mapping, formulating shared goals, action planning, technical training, and evaluation and follow-up. As a result, participants were able to manage social media productively, produce positive content based on local culture, and become agents of digital literacy education in the village. This community service program explored local potential, such as individual skills, digital devices, and village culture. Participants formulated a shared dream to make Karang Taruna a pioneer of digital literacy, a producer of positive content, and an agent of healthy social media education. They then designed and implemented programs through technical training, content production, and the launch of an official Instagram account. As a result, participants demonstrated improved digital skills, self-confidence, and a commitment to continue the digital literacy movement independently.

Abstract

Building strength through the yasinan tradition, in general, yasinan is only an association and limited to ordinary religious rituals, even though that is where there is potential in gathering village communities, especially Yasinan in Krajan Hamlet, Karangpatihan Village, Pulung Ponorogo District, East Java. Since the beginning, the Jamaah management realized that from a number of media and da'wah methods carried out in a period of 33 years (1990-2023), Yasinan's activities were considered the most successful in bringing about the transformation of the ummah. abangan society became a religious society. Members want to develop the role of Jamaah Yasinan to become a religious ritual activity, social religion and at the same time a center for community empowerment in the global era. Efforts to develop members in empowering and enhancing the role of Jamaah Yasinan as a Center for Community Empowerment.

Abstract

This article is about mentoring Al-Qur'an learning as a form of effort to increase children's religious values. That learning of the Koran is very important, especially for children in terms of growing a sense of love for the Koran so that when they grow up they are able to apply the values contained in the Koran in everyday life. Al-Qur'an learning in the Krajan hamlet environment, Karangpatihan village is said to be very lacking due to the existence of ordinary parents who do not understand the Qur'an, the lack of educators to teach Al-Qur'an learning, and the lack of a place that is adequate for Al-Qur'an learning the qur'an. The method used in this activity is the ABCD (Asset Based Community-driven Development) method through various stages, namely the stages of inculturation (introduction to the community), discovery (digging up information in the environment), design (knowing assets or potential and identifying opportunities that exists to be developed), define (supports the implementation of a work program), reflection (reflection or feedback from a work program). This activity received positive support and attention from the local community. The result of this activity is that many children are passionate and enthusiastic about learning the Koran, increasing their knowledge and knowledge about the Koran for children.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the inaccurate increase in language skills that occurs in schools, such as: children don't want to say hello when they meet the teacher. The purpose of this research is to make it easier for children to improve their speaking skills through the storytelling method using hand puppets. This study used a qualitative method using triangulation of data, with the research subjects being group B children at TK Dharma Wanita Karangpatihan. The result of this study is the cultivation of moral values which is carried out through storytelling activities with hand puppets, namely children's insights broaden, children can be motivated and able to distinguish between good and bad, and are able to tell the contents contained in fairy tales, so that the child's behavior after listening to children's stories becomes a response to speak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang fasilitasi yang diberikan kepada ibu-ibu masyarakat di Desa Wagir Kidul dalam pelatihan pembuatan buket. Dengan alasan banyak dari kalangan wanita terutama ibu-ibu dan yang menganggur. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran fasilitasi dalam memfasilitasi ibu-ibu masyarakat dalam mengikuti pelatihan buket dan dampaknya terhadap peningkatan keterampilan mereka dalam seni pembuata buket. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Asset Based Community Driven (ABCD), yaitu sebuah metode yang mengedepankan pengembangan aset yang dimiliki oleh suatu kelompok di suatu daerah. Dengan peserta pelatihan ibu-ibu dan remaja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fasilitasi memiliki peran penting dalam memfasilitasi partisipasi ibu-ibu masyarakat dalam pelatihan buket. Fasilitator membantu dalam menyediakan sumber daya, memberikan panduan, dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung. Dampak positif dari fasilitasi ini terlihat dalam peningkatan keterampilan ibu-ibu dalam merangkai bunga dan pemahaman mereka tentang seni dekorasi. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya peran fasilitasi dalam meningkatkan partisipasi dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam berbagai program pelatihan. Hasil ini menggarisbawahi bahwa fasilitasi tidak hanya berdampak pada level kognitif, tetapi juga pada perkembangan personal dan kepercayaan diri.

Abstract

The purpose of this training is to develop the creativity of mothers to empower family welfare. There are many efforts that can be made, one of which is to provide bucket-making training to mothers so they are skilled at being creative. By holding training on making flower buckets and snacks with the aim of empowering women aged 20-35 years, this can be used as a way to increase the creativity of mothers and as a lesson about entrepreneurship. These flower and snack buckets can be economical and useful at the touch of a hand. This bucket-making training activity began with outreach to mothers about bucket-making tools and materials. Then, the next activity was to practice making flower buckets and snacks with the mothers. After it was finished, the last activity was socialization regarding the marketing of the flower buckets and snacks. This activity was carried out at the Karang Patihan Pulung village hall involving PKK women as training participants. Through this training activity, it is hoped that mothers in family welfare empowerment can shape their character and creativity. The research method used by researchers is to use the ABCD approach, which is an approach to community service. This approach focuses on an inventory of assets in the community which are assumed to be very supportive of community empowerment activities. The emphasis on reinventing assets is a hallmark of this approach. Research conducted using a method called ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) is intended to be able to explore its potential to create local-based excellence known as Appreciative Inguiry. So that business owners know their potential to develop their business with the support of INSURI students who are implementing KPM. The end result of this activity is that mothers are proficient and can be creative by themselves, develop their talents and skills in making snack buckets so that they can become high selling points and create new innovations so that consumers don't feel bored with the same bucket.

Abstract

Community service activities carried out by KPM Students of the Sunan Giri Ponorogo Islamic Institute which were carried out on July 3 - August 3 2023, located in Karangpatihan Village, Kec. Pulung Kab. Ponorogo has a very significant influence on the community, especially in the Karangpatihan village area, Kec. Pulung Kab. Ponorogo. Students received a very good welcome and high enthusiasm. With learning to recite the Koran as well as tutoring, the quality of religion and TPQ education for children in Karangpatihan village will improve. The supporting factors in these activities include: The community and children have a great willingness to obtain information and knowledge regarding improving the quality of Religious Education in Karangpatihan Village. The implementation of this community service uses the Asset Based Community Development ( ABCD ) method. The ABCD method is an approach to community empowerment by focusing on the assets owned by the community. The ABCD method focuses more on the content or potential and strength of a particular community, this asset does not matter how little it is in the community. ABCD assets are an invaluable resource to move towards improving lives

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the formation of akhlaq trough habituation before and after reciting at TPA Nur-Ilmi, and also the values can be instilled in children at TPA Nur - Ilmi. The method used in this study is ABCD (Asset Based Community Driven – Development ) the method used form observing activities at nur – ilmi tpa and also working togheter to explore of potensial of children in tpa nur – ilmi. The result of observation show in tpa nur – ilmi has good habituasio for early childhood, and also inculcates morality by using religious values that have been applied in TPA Nur-Ilmi.
