Abstract

In the world of education, Christian religious education teachers play an important role in shaping the ethics, character and morals of students, because in the world of education most students experience character and moral crisis problems, where they are not controlled by the influence of technological developments and even environmental conditions. can also influence students' ethics, character and morals. Therefore, attention is really needed from various parties, especially the role and attention of teachers in the world of education, in teaching and learning with the aim of helping students learn about the world of education from not knowing to knowing, especially knowing character and morals. Educators not only aim to teach, but educators must also act as teachers who take part in building students' morals and character, and are responsible in accordance with the goals of education and learning to shape and create a generation with noble morals. so that every student has good character and morals in living the days of his life.

Abstract

This article discusses a practial theological approach in the foundations of Christian Education. Through descriptive analysis of related literature, this article explores how theological approaches are applied in the context of Christian Education. This paper has several objectives, namely: First, to describe theoretical studies of practial Theological approaches; secondly, explaining the practical implications of the theological foundations of Christian Religious education. The conclusion highlight the importance of applying Truth in everyday life as a Blibical foundation, as well as seeking definitive direction from general theological principles.

Abstract

This research aims to explore how teachers of Christian Religious Education (PAK) contribute to shaping the character of adolescents aged 11-14 in the context of the digital era. Based on the findings of this article, there are several fundamental issues, including adolescents who are addicted to online games while watching inappropriate video content. Through understanding these core issues, this writing aims to provide education and enlightenment through the teaching of Christian Religious Education. Using a qualitative study method and phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers experienced in teaching adolescents in the digital era. Therefore, it is hoped that Christian Religious Education teachers will diligently carry out their duties in accordance with the goals of education and learning, namely to shape and produce generations with good morality, responsibility, and exhibit characters in line with Christ's teachings. Additionally, the emotional relationship between teachers and students is also recognized as an important factor in shaping adolescent character. These findings provide better understanding for educators and policymakers about the importance of the teacher's role in addressing the challenges of character formation in the digital age.

Abstract

This research investigates the relationship between the formation of Christian character and the impact of theology on the teaching of Christian Religious Education (CRE). Considering the fundamental theological principles and character education, this study aims to explore how Christian theology influences the approach to teaching CRE in shaping students' character. The research methodology involves literature review and theological analysis to explore theological concepts relevant to the formation of Christian character, as well as conducting interviews with CRE teachers to understand the application of Christian theology in their teaching practices. The findings highlight the importance of integrating Christian theological teachings, character education principles, and CRE teaching methods. The practical implications of this research emphasize the importance of developing CRE curriculum that reflects Christian values and strengthens the formation of students' Christian character within the formal education context. Thus, this research contributes to understanding the influence of Christian theology on CRE teaching practices in shaping students' Christian character.

Abstract

Early childhood character education is an important foundation in developing a strong and virtuous personality in children. This study aims to examine the role of teachers at Arastamar Sengkuang Kindergarten in instilling Christian character values ​​in young children. Through a contextual and spiritual learning approach, teachers are not only tasked with teaching but also serving as role models in teaching values ​​such as love, honesty, discipline, responsibility, and gratitude. The method used in this study was direct observation of classroom teaching and learning activities, including prayer, singing, storytelling, and guidance for parents. The results of the observations indicate that character values ​​are instilled through positive daily habits, with active support from parents. Cooperation between teachers and parents is a key factor in supporting children's character development, thus having a positive impact on children's behavior. This Community Service Program (PKM) is expected to make a significant contribution to the development of character education in Christian schools. In addition, this study is also expected to strengthen the role of character education in developing a young generation with high integrity and morality. Through this program, children are expected to grow into individuals who are not only academically intelligent but also possess good personalities. This program is also expected to be an example for other educational institutions in instilling character values ​​from an early age.
