Abstract

Abstrak: Kesehatan mental remaja merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan mereka, karena berdampak langsung pada kesejahteraan emosional, psikologis, dan sosial. Sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran remaja terhadap faktor risiko serta strategi dalam mengatasi masalah kesehatan mental agar mereka dapat menghadapi tantangan hidup dengan lebih baik. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan soft skills peserta, khususnya dalam hal pemahaman tentang kesehatan mental, kemampuan mengelola stres, serta keberanian untuk mencari bantuan jika menghadapi masalah psikologis. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah ceramah, di mana peserta diberikan pemaparan mengenai faktor risiko yang dapat memengaruhi kesehatan mental remaja, seperti tekanan akademik dan masalah interpersonal. Selain itu, juga disampaikan berbagai strategi untuk mengelola stres dan cara mencari bantuan profesional jika dibutuhkan. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 35 siswa SMA, yang menjadi target utama dalam upaya peningkatan kesadaran dan keterampilan dalam menjaga kesehatan mental mereka. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket untuk menilai pemahaman peserta terhadap materi, manfaat kegiatan, serta perubahan sikap mereka terhadap strategi pengelolaan stres dan keberanian dalam mencari bantuan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, terjadi peningkatan pemahaman sebesar 88,5%, peningkatan kesadaran akan manfaat sosialisasi sebesar 88,5%, peningkatan komitmen dalam menerapkan strategi mengelola stres sebesar 80%, dan peningkatan keberanian untuk mencari bantuan jika mengalami masalah kesehatan mental sebesar 71,4%.Abstract: Adolescent mental health is an important aspect of their development, as it has a direct impact on emotional, psychological and social well-being. This socialization aims to increase adolescents' awareness of risk factors and coping strategies for mental health problems so that they can better face life's challenges. The aim of this activity is to improve participants' soft skills, especially in terms of understanding mental health, ability to manage stress, and courage to seek help if facing psychological problems. The method used in this activity was lecture, where participants were exposed to risk factors that can affect adolescents' mental health, such as academic pressure and interpersonal problems. Strategies to manage stress and how to seek professional help if needed were also presented. This activity was attended by 35 high school students, who became the main target in an effort to increase awareness and skills in maintaining their mental health. Evaluation of the activity was carried out using a questionnaire to assess participants' understanding of the material, the benefits of the activity, as well as changes in their attitudes towards stress management strategies and courage in seeking help. Based on the evaluation results, there was an increase in understanding by 88.5%, an increase in awareness of the benefits of socialization by 88.5%, an increase in commitment to implementing stress management strategies by 80%, and an increase in courage to seek help if experiencing mental health problems by 71.4%.

Abstract

Based on the 2018 mental health data for adolescents in Indonesia, it was found that 9.8% experienced emotional mental disorders with symptoms of depression and anxiety among those aged >15 years. Adolescent mental health significantly influences their individual futures and has broader implications for families and communities. Emotional issues in adolescents can serve as life stressors, which, in turn, become a risk factor affecting their mental health. This research aims to investigate the influence of life stressors on the mental health of adolescents. This study adopts a quantitative approach with an observational design. The population comprises adolescents in Tegal City, and data collection employs the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The sample size, determined using the Slovin formula with a 0.05 error level, is set at 510 individuals. Data are collected through a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. The data analysis utilizes multiple linear regression analysis.The research findings indicate a significant influence of life stressors on Mental Health Disorders. It can be inferred that life stressors play a substantial role in mental health disorders among adolescents, highlighting them as risk factors for mental health issues in this demographic. The involvement of parents, teachers, community leaders, and the surrounding society is crucial in providing guidance and positive role models for adolescents.This study sheds light on the urgency of collective efforts in addressing life stressors and promoting mental well-being among adolescents, emphasizing the pivotal roles of key stakeholders in the community

Abstract

ABSTRAK Stres akademik merupakan kondisi mahasiswa yang tidak dapat menghadapi tuntutan akademik dan mempersepsi tuntutan-tuntutan akademik yang diterima sebagai gangguan. Mahasiswa merupakan salah satu bagian civitas akademika pada sebuah perguruan tinggi, yang seringkali terdapat problematika yang memberikan konsekuensi psikologi, tuntutan dalam menjalani sebuah kehidupan dari dalam maupun luar kampus, membuat mahasiswa harus mampu menghadapi banyaknya masalah yang muncul dengan lebih dewasa dan bertanggung jawab. Sehingga tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan Stres Akademik Mahasiswa Kesehatan dengan Perubahan Psikologis, Fisiologis, Perubahan Motivasi Dan Kualitas Belajar Mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan Korelasional. Sampel sebanyak 130 mahasiswa kesehatan Politeknik Harapan Bersama Kota Tegal. Variabel independen penelitian ini adalah Stres Akademik dan variabel dependen adalah Perubahan Psikologis, Fisiologis, Motivasi dan Kualitas Belajar Mahasiswa. Hasil yang didapatkan di penelitian berdasarkan hasil uji statistik (chi-square) pada alpha 5% diatas diketahui nilai p value 0,029 (p < 0,05). Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah didapatkan hubungan yang signifikan antara stres akademik dengan perubahan psikologis, fisiologis, motivasi dan kualitas belajar mahasiswa. Saran bagi Universitas dan institusi pendidikan memainkan peran penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung pembelajaran yang efektif, mengurangi stres akademik dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan akademik mahasiswa. Kata kunci: Stres Akademik, Psikologis, Fisiologi, Motivasi dan Kualitas belajar. ABSTRACT Academic stress is a condition of students who cannot face academic demands and perceive the academic demands received as a disturbance. Students are one part of the academic community at a university, which often has problems that have psychological consequences, demands in living a life from inside and outside the campus, making students must be able to deal with the many problems that arise more maturely and responsibly. So the purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between Academic Stress of Health Students with Psychological, Physiological Changes, Changes in Motivation and Student Learning Quality. This study uses corelational. The sample was 130 health students of Politeknik Harapan Bersama Tegal City. The independent variable of this research is Academic Stress and the dependent variable is Psychological, Physiological, Motivational Changes and Student Learning Quality. The results obtained in the study based on the results of statistical tests (chi-square) at 5% alpha above known p value 0.029 (p < 0.05). The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between academic stress and changes in psychological, physiological, motivation and quality of student learning. Suggestions for universities and educational institutions play an important role in creating an environment that supports effective learning, reduces academic stress and improves students' academic well-being. Abstract

Communication is a very important skill for a nurse in providing nursing care. Data shows that new graduates of nursing education programs still have to make extra efforts to communicate with patients. Efforts to improve communication experiences can be done in various ways, one of which is using simulations with role play techniques for nursing students in each learning process. This research aims to determine the application of the role play method in communication learning for nursing students in the third diploma nursing study program at the Harapan Bersama Polytechnic, Tegal City. This research is an experimental research using a one group pre test and post test design using a total sampling of 52 nursing students. Data collection was carried out using therapeutic communication observation sheets, communication behavior and role play implementation. The role play is designed according to the topic of therapeutic communication by each group by paying attention to the stages of creating the role play which are measured using an observation sheet. The results showed that there were differences in the average scores of pre- and post-treatment therapeutic communication skills with a significance level of p = 0.000 as well as differences in pre- and post-treatment communication behavior with a significance level of p = 0.000. Based on these results, it can be concluded that role play influences the therapeutic communication skills and behavior of nursing students, so that it can be applied as a learning method to achieve good therapeutic communication skills in nursing students.
