Abstract

ABSTRACTApproximately 85% of the incidence of occupational accidents due to human factors (human error) that behave in unsafe work. Wrong behavior (unsafe) can be improved by increasing the knowledge and attitudes through training in group of tmerchants. The purpose of the study to knowing the effect of safety behavior training on knowledge and attitude of the group small and medium merchants around Unsoed Purwokerto. This study uses a quasi-experimental design with one group pretest and posttest design. Data analysis was performed using paired t-test or Wilcoxon test. Population of 120 merchants and samples were taken by purposive sampling with a sample size of 40 people. The results showed no differences in the respondents' knowledge after training at posttest I and posttest II with p = 0.028 (<0.05) and no difference between the attitudes of respondents to the pretest posttest II with p = 0.036 (<0.05). Conclusions of this researchThe training program can increase knowledge and change the attitudes of respondents significantly. Suggest for team of lecturers to be able to follow up this study with further research and community service activities as traders SMEs still need guidance and advocacy in the workplace in increasing labor productivity.Keywords: Training, Safety behavior, knowledge, attitudes, work accidents. Abstract

Abstrak: Sebagian besar kematian akibat Covid-19 terjadi pada orangtua dengan prosentase komorbid tertinggi adalah hipertensi dan diabetes. Kedua penyakit tersebut juga sering menimbukan komplikasi pada penderitanya. Untuk itu perlu dijaga pola hidup lansia termasuk pola makannya agar tidak mengalami komplikasi akibat penyakit tersebut serta dapat bertahan bila terinfeksi Covid-19. Posyandu lansia merupakan tempat strategi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan lansia. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta posbindu tentang penyakit hipertensi, diabetes serta pengetahuan tentang diet gizi bagi penderita kedua penyakit tersebut. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan dengan peserta sebanyak 20 orang pre lansia/lansia dan 5 kader. Kegiatan melalui 3 tahapan, Tahap pertama dilakukan pemeriksaan tekanan darah dan gula darah sewaktu. Hasil pemeriksaan menunjukkan 32 % peserta mengalami hipertensi dan 48 % kadar gulanya tinggi.Tahap ke-2 dilakukan penyuluhan dengan materi pertama adalah penyebab penyakit, gejala tanda serta komplikasi yang ditimbulkan hipertensi dan diabetes. Materi kedua tentang diet gizi meliputi jenis makanan yang boleh/perlu dibatasi, serta cara memantau penyakitnya. Tahap ketiga dilakukan evaluasi dan hasilnya terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan peserta karena mereka dapat menjawab dengan benar atas pertanyaan yang diberikan secara acak.Abstract: Most deaths due to Covid-19 occurred in parents with the highest percentage of comorbidities being hypertension and diabetes. These two diseases also often cause complications in sufferers. For this reason, it is necessary to maintain the elderly's lifestyle, including their diet, so that they do not experience complications due to this disease and can survive if infected with Covid-19. Posyandu for the elderly is a strategic place to increase the knowledge of the elderly. The aim of this actifity is to increase Posbindu participants’knowledge about hypertention, diabetes and knowledge about nutrional diets for sufferers of these two diseaseas. The activity method used was counseling with 20 pre-elderly/elderly people and 5 cadres as participants. The activity goes through 3 stages. The first stage is to check blood pressure and blood sugar at any time. The results of the examination showed that 32% of participants had hypertension and 48% had high blood sugar levels. In the second stage, education was carried out with the first material being the causes of the disease, signs and symptoms and complications caused by hypertension and diabetes. The second material about nutritional diet includes the types of food that can/need to be limited, as well as how to monitor disease. The third stage was evaluated and the results were an increase in participants' knowledge because they were able to answer questions correctly given randomly.

Abstract

Abstrak: Belajar adalah suatu proses atau upaya yang dilakukan setiap individu untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, sikap dan nilai positif. Tujuan pengabdian Meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mengelola stres yang dialami selama persiapan ujian akhir sekolah dan proses pra masuk perguruan tinggi guna meningkatkan motivasi dan kinerja akademik mereka. Metode : Sosialisasi tentang stres akademik, motivasi tips dan trik dalam memilih perguruan tinggi, serta memberikan teknik – teknik relaksasi manajemen stres. Hasil : pre dan post test dari 35 siswa terdapat 5 orang (14,3%) memiliki stres tinggi dikarenakan banyaknya tugas dan tuntutan dalam masuk perguruan tinggi, 12 orang (34,3%) memiliki stres sedang karna akan menghadapi ujian akhir sekolah dan ujian pra masuk perguruan tinggi, dan 18 orang (51,4%) memiliki stres ringan dimana siswa tersebut tidak terlalu memikirkan tentang ujian akhir sekolah maupun masuk perguruan tinggi.Abstract: Learning is a process or effort made by each individual to gain knowledge, skills, attitudes and positive values. Objective: To improve students' ability to manage stress experienced during the preparation of school final exams and the pre-entry process to improve their motivation and academic performance. Methods: Socialization about academic stress, motivational tips and tricks in choosing a college, and providing stress management relaxation techniques. Results: pre and post test of 35 students, 5 people (14.3%) had high stress due to the many tasks and demands in entering college, 12 people (34.3%) had moderate stress because they would face school final exams and pre-entry exams, and 18 people (51.4%) had mild stress where the students did not think too much about school final exams and college entrance.

Abstract

Background: Pressure ulcers are localized injuries to the skin and/or tissue overlying bone prominences, resulting from pressure or a combination of pressure and friction. Pressure ulcers constitute a serious issue that afflicts patients with mobility impairments. Various technologies have been developed to facilitate healthcare convenience. Android applications in the healthcare category provide users with health-related information without temporal or spatial constraints, assisting them in achieving health-related goals, including the prevention of health disorders. Objective: This study has developed an application capable of generating pressure ulcer risk scores and recommending repositioning reminders based on user-input data, utilizing the forward chaining method. This application aids users in assessing the degree of pressure ulcer risk they face and in performing repositioning at recommended intervals accurately, thereby reducing pressure ulcer risk scores. Methods: This research is an experimental study employing a one-group pre-test-post-test design with a sample size of 30 respondents. Result: Data obtained from user histories indicate that respondents under surveillance using the repositioning reminder application experienced a decrease in pressure ulcer risk scores on the second day following the application's use, with a mean of .267 and a standard deviation of 3.741, exhibiting a significance value of .699 >α (0.05). Conclusion: This repositioning time and reminder application can serve as a new solution in pressure ulcer prevention. Keywords: application; Android; pressure ulcers

Abstract

Pelaksanaan resusitasi jantung paru (RJP) mewajibkan pelaksanaan RJP yang berkualitas. Salah satu indicator RJP yang berkualitas adalah kecepatan kompresi antara 100-120 kali per menit. Penelitian sebelumnya telah menguji efek Pendidikan Kesehatan penggunaan  music untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kecepatan RJP sesuai yang ideal. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan lagu baby shark serta video RJP terhadap kecepatan RJP.  Peneltian ini merupakan quasy experimental dengan jumlah sampel 68 responden selama 4 hari. Hari pertama, responden melakukan RJP lalu dihitung kecepatan RJP responden. Hari ke-2, ke-3 dan ke-4 responden mendengarkan lagu baby shark sekaligus melihat video RJP. Kemudian responden melakukan RJP setelah mendengarkan lagu.  Analisa data menggunakan paired t-test. Dari 68 responden, mempunyai berat badan >50 kg sebanyak 43 responden.  Rata-rata jumlah kompresi pada hari pertama 132,7 kali per menit. Pemberian intervensi dilakukan pada hari kedua, ketiga dan ke empat dan mempunyai rata-rata 128,9x per menit, 128,03x per menit dan 128,71 per menit. uji statistic menunjukkan nilai p value >0,05. Tidak ada pengaruh pemberian metronome baby shark terhadap kecepatan kompresi dada.

Abstract

Pada era digitalisasi saat ini, kebutuhan akan penggunaan media sosial semakin meningkat. Media sosial telah menjadi bagian integral dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, termasuk di kalangan mahasiswa. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, platform seperti Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, dan YouTube sering digunakan mahasiswa untuk berkomunikasi, Gadget atau smart phone merupakan salah satu alat komunikasi yang mempunyai banyak fungsi. Gadget dianggap sebagai alat komunikasi yang lebih lengkap dan mudah dibawa dibandingkan alat komunikasi elektronik lainya. Gadget digunakan untuk mengakses informasi, mencari hiburan hingga mencari berbagi sumber pengetahuan. Mayoritas mahasiswa di Politeknik Harapan Bersama dalam rentang usia remaja. Fase remaja merupakan fase perkembangan yang berada pada masa sangat potensial, baik dilihat dari aspek kognitif, emosi maupun fisik. Tujuan penelitiaan ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada Pengaruh Penggunaan Sosia Media Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Mahasiswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat survei analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional study atau studi potong lintang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 117 responden  dengan menggunakan metode proportional random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari masing-masing variabel yaitu penggunaan media sosial dengan prestasi belajar akademik berdasarkan hasil analisis uji chi-square diperoleh nilai p= 0,000 atau (p < 0,05). Kesimpulan Terdapat pengaruh penggunaan sosia media terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa. Lama (Durasi) Penggunaan  Media Sosial mayoritas responden menggunakannya perharinya lebih dari 6 jam. . Tingkat Prestasi Belajar paling banyak pada kategori sangat memuaskan dengan IPK antara 3,01-3,50

Abstract

Class XII adolescents are usually preoccupied with learning in preparation for their graduation exams and college entrance exams. These hectic activities can cause aggravation if adolescents cannot deal with them well. Deep aggravation can lead to emotions. Emotional maturity is very important for adolescents in dealing with a problem. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the emotional maturity of adolescents at SMU N 2 Tegal Regency. This research was an observational analytic study with cross sectional design. The study population was class XII MIPA students totaling 178 and a sample of 51 students was taken by cluster sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire to measure emotional maturity and its causative factors including self-acceptance, interaction with peers, environmental assessment of adolescents and adolescent parenting. Data were analyzed univariately and bivariately. The results showed that there was a relationship between self-acceptance attitude and emotional maturity with a pvalue: 0.038 and OR: 8.7. The percentage of students with an attitude of accepting themselves has a good emotional maturity that is more than the percentage of students who have an attitude of not accepting themselves. But there is no relationship between interaction with peers (pvalue: 0.276), assessment of the adolescent environment (pvalue: 0.657) and adolescent parenting (pvalue: 0.352) to emotional maturity. It can be concluded that the attitude of acceptance in adolescents affects the emotional maturity of adolescents so that efforts need to be made by schools and parents to improve the attitude of adolescent acceptance.

Abstract

Abstrak: Di Indonesia acne vulgaris merupakan penyakit kulit yang umum nya terjadi, hampir setiap orang pernah mengalami Acne vulgaris, terutama pada usia muda, kejadiannya sekitar 85 - 100%. Prevalensi tertinggi terjadi pada wanita usia 14-17 tahun 83-85%, dan pria 16- 19 tahun, terhitung 95-100%. Penyebab Acne vulgaris multifaktorial, antara lain faktor genetik, faktor bangsa ras, faktor makanan, faktor iklim, faktor jenis kulit, faktor kebersihan, faktor penggunaan kosmetik, faktor stres, faktor infeksi dan faktor pekerjaan. Penderita biasanya mengeluh adanya ruam kulit berupa komedo, papul, pustula, nodus, atau kista dan dapat disertai rasa gatal. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan mengambil langkah-langkah pencegahan yang efektif di kalangan remaja. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang jerawat dan faktor resiko timbulnya luka jerawat pada remaja. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dengan peserta sebanyak 32 siswa/siswi remaja. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 18-19 November 2024 bertempat di SMA Kota Tegal. Hasil Kegiatan ini diawali dengan pre test, perkenalan, pemaparan materi dan diskusi. Tahap ke-1 dilakukan pre test, menunjukkan siswa dengan pengetahuan baik terdapat 20% sedangkan siswa dengan pengeathuan kurang terdapat 80,7%, kemuadian dilanjutkan pemberian materi tentang jerawat yang meliputi pengertian, penyebab, dampak dan pencegahan. Tahap ke-2 dilakukan penyuluhan tentang faktor resiko timbulnya luka jerawat. Tahap ke-3 dilakukan evaluasi dan hasilnya menjadi 80% dengan pengetahuan baik dan siswa dengan pengetahuan kurang menjadi 19,3%.Abstract: In Indonesia, acne vulgaris is a common skin disease, almost everyone has experienced Acne vulgaris, especially at a young age, the incidence is around 85 - 100%. The causes of Acne vulgaris are multifactorial, including genetic factors, racial factors, food factors, climate factors, skin type factors, hygiene factors, cosmetic use factors, stress factors, infection factors and work factors. Sufferers usually complain of skin rashes in the form of blackheads, papules, pustules, nodes, or cysts and can be accompanied by itching. Therefore, it is important to raise awareness and take effective preventive measures among adolescents. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase knowledge about acne and risk factors for acne scars in adolescents. The activity method used was socialization with 32 teenage students as participants. The activity was carried out on November 18-19, 2024 at SMA Negeri 5 Tegal City. The results of this activity began with a pre-test, introduction, presentation of material and discussion. The first stage was a pre-test, showing that students with good knowledge were 20% while students with less knowledge were 80.7%, then continued with the provision of material about acne which included understanding, causes, impacts and prevention. The second stage was counseling about the risk factors for acne wounds. The third stage was an evaluation and the results were 80% with good knowledge and students with less knowledge were 19.3%.

Abstract

Background: Impaired mental and emotional development contributes to increased behavioral problems in adulthood. Adolescent mental health is impacted by several factors, including social support and socioeconomics. Purpose: To see the relationship between social support and socioeconomic status on adolescent mental health Methods: This type of research used quantitative with observational approach. The population in this study were adolescents in Tegal City. Determination of the number of samples using the slovin method with the results of 375 respondents and for the sampling technique using Cluster Random Sampling technique. Results: The study revealed significant correlations of social support and mental health (p = 0.000). Significant correlations of socioeconomic support status with mental health (p = 0.000). Significant correlations of social support and socioeconomic relationships simultaneously (p = 0.000). Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence of social support and socioeconomic on adolescent mental health in Tegal City.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Stres akademik merupakan kondisi mahasiswa yang tidak dapat menghadapi tuntutan akademik dan mempersepsi tuntutan-tuntutan akademik yang diterima sebagai gangguan. Mahasiswa merupakan salah satu bagian civitas akademika pada sebuah perguruan tinggi, yang seringkali terdapat problematika yang memberikan konsekuensi psikologi, tuntutan dalam menjalani sebuah kehidupan dari dalam maupun luar kampus, membuat mahasiswa harus mampu menghadapi banyaknya masalah yang muncul dengan lebih dewasa dan bertanggung jawab. Sehingga tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan Stres Akademik Mahasiswa Kesehatan dengan Perubahan Psikologis, Fisiologis, Perubahan Motivasi Dan Kualitas Belajar Mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan Korelasional. Sampel sebanyak 130 mahasiswa kesehatan Politeknik Harapan Bersama Kota Tegal. Variabel independen penelitian ini adalah Stres Akademik dan variabel dependen adalah Perubahan Psikologis, Fisiologis, Motivasi dan Kualitas Belajar Mahasiswa. Hasil yang didapatkan di penelitian berdasarkan hasil uji statistik (chi-square) pada alpha 5% diatas diketahui nilai p value 0,029 (p < 0,05). Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah didapatkan hubungan yang signifikan antara stres akademik dengan perubahan psikologis, fisiologis, motivasi dan kualitas belajar mahasiswa. Saran bagi Universitas dan institusi pendidikan memainkan peran penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung pembelajaran yang efektif, mengurangi stres akademik dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan akademik mahasiswa. Kata kunci: Stres Akademik, Psikologis, Fisiologi, Motivasi dan Kualitas belajar. ABSTRACT Academic stress is a condition of students who cannot face academic demands and perceive the academic demands received as a disturbance. Students are one part of the academic community at a university, which often has problems that have psychological consequences, demands in living a life from inside and outside the campus, making students must be able to deal with the many problems that arise more maturely and responsibly. So the purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between Academic Stress of Health Students with Psychological, Physiological Changes, Changes in Motivation and Student Learning Quality. This study uses corelational. The sample was 130 health students of Politeknik Harapan Bersama Tegal City. The independent variable of this research is Academic Stress and the dependent variable is Psychological, Physiological, Motivational Changes and Student Learning Quality. The results obtained in the study based on the results of statistical tests (chi-square) at 5% alpha above known p value 0.029 (p < 0.05). The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between academic stress and changes in psychological, physiological, motivation and quality of student learning. Suggestions for universities and educational institutions play an important role in creating an environment that supports effective learning, reduces academic stress and improves students' academic well-being.
