Abstract

Abstrak: Belajar adalah suatu proses atau upaya yang dilakukan setiap individu untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, sikap dan nilai positif. Tujuan pengabdian Meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mengelola stres yang dialami selama persiapan ujian akhir sekolah dan proses pra masuk perguruan tinggi guna meningkatkan motivasi dan kinerja akademik mereka. Metode : Sosialisasi tentang stres akademik, motivasi tips dan trik dalam memilih perguruan tinggi, serta memberikan teknik – teknik relaksasi manajemen stres. Hasil : pre dan post test dari 35 siswa terdapat 5 orang (14,3%) memiliki stres tinggi dikarenakan banyaknya tugas dan tuntutan dalam masuk perguruan tinggi, 12 orang (34,3%) memiliki stres sedang karna akan menghadapi ujian akhir sekolah dan ujian pra masuk perguruan tinggi, dan 18 orang (51,4%) memiliki stres ringan dimana siswa tersebut tidak terlalu memikirkan tentang ujian akhir sekolah maupun masuk perguruan tinggi.Abstract: Learning is a process or effort made by each individual to gain knowledge, skills, attitudes and positive values. Objective: To improve students' ability to manage stress experienced during the preparation of school final exams and the pre-entry process to improve their motivation and academic performance. Methods: Socialization about academic stress, motivational tips and tricks in choosing a college, and providing stress management relaxation techniques. Results: pre and post test of 35 students, 5 people (14.3%) had high stress due to the many tasks and demands in entering college, 12 people (34.3%) had moderate stress because they would face school final exams and pre-entry exams, and 18 people (51.4%) had mild stress where the students did not think too much about school final exams and college entrance.

Abstract

Abstrak: Remaja Remaja merupakan kelompok rentan terhadap gangguan kecemasan, terutama pasca cedera yang memengaruhi kondisi psikologis dan kualitas hidup. Minimnya perhatian terhadap aspek mental dalam pemulihan fisik mendorong pelaksanaan edukasi psikologis. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan remaja dalam mengelola kecemasan pasca cedera. Kegiatan dilakukan di SMAN 5 Kota Tegal, melibatkan 36 siswa kelas X dan XI. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan teknik relaksasi pernapasan 4-7-8, terapi kognitif perilaku sederhana, serta penguatan dukungan sosial. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test sebanyak 10 soal pilihan ganda. Indikator keberhasilan diukur dari peningkatan kategori pengetahuan siswa. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan: kategori pengetahuan tinggi naik dari 61,1% menjadi 80,6%, sedangkan kategori rendah turun dari 22,2% menjadi 2,8%. Program ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan siswa dalam menghadapi kecemasan pasca cedera.Abstract: Adolescents are vulnerable to anxiety disorders, especially post-injury, which affects their psychological state and quality of life. The lack of attention to mental aspects in physical recovery encourages the implementation of psychological education. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of adolescents in managing post-injury anxiety. The activity was conducted at SMAN 5 Tegal City, involving 36 students in grades X and XI. The methods used included counseling, training in 4-7-8 breathing relaxation techniques, simple cognitive behavioral therapy, and strengthening social support. Evaluation was conducted through pre-test and post-test of 10 multiple choice questions. The success indicator was measured by the increase in students' knowledge category. The results showed significant improvement: the high knowledge category rose from 61.1% to 80.6%, while the low category fell from 22.2% to 2.8%. The program proved effective in increasing students' awareness and skills in dealing with post-injury anxiety.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kesehatan mental remaja merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan mereka, karena berdampak langsung pada kesejahteraan emosional, psikologis, dan sosial. Sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran remaja terhadap faktor risiko serta strategi dalam mengatasi masalah kesehatan mental agar mereka dapat menghadapi tantangan hidup dengan lebih baik. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan soft skills peserta, khususnya dalam hal pemahaman tentang kesehatan mental, kemampuan mengelola stres, serta keberanian untuk mencari bantuan jika menghadapi masalah psikologis. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah ceramah, di mana peserta diberikan pemaparan mengenai faktor risiko yang dapat memengaruhi kesehatan mental remaja, seperti tekanan akademik dan masalah interpersonal. Selain itu, juga disampaikan berbagai strategi untuk mengelola stres dan cara mencari bantuan profesional jika dibutuhkan. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 35 siswa SMA, yang menjadi target utama dalam upaya peningkatan kesadaran dan keterampilan dalam menjaga kesehatan mental mereka. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket untuk menilai pemahaman peserta terhadap materi, manfaat kegiatan, serta perubahan sikap mereka terhadap strategi pengelolaan stres dan keberanian dalam mencari bantuan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, terjadi peningkatan pemahaman sebesar 88,5%, peningkatan kesadaran akan manfaat sosialisasi sebesar 88,5%, peningkatan komitmen dalam menerapkan strategi mengelola stres sebesar 80%, dan peningkatan keberanian untuk mencari bantuan jika mengalami masalah kesehatan mental sebesar 71,4%.Abstract: Adolescent mental health is an important aspect of their development, as it has a direct impact on emotional, psychological and social well-being. This socialization aims to increase adolescents' awareness of risk factors and coping strategies for mental health problems so that they can better face life's challenges. The aim of this activity is to improve participants' soft skills, especially in terms of understanding mental health, ability to manage stress, and courage to seek help if facing psychological problems. The method used in this activity was lecture, where participants were exposed to risk factors that can affect adolescents' mental health, such as academic pressure and interpersonal problems. Strategies to manage stress and how to seek professional help if needed were also presented. This activity was attended by 35 high school students, who became the main target in an effort to increase awareness and skills in maintaining their mental health. Evaluation of the activity was carried out using a questionnaire to assess participants' understanding of the material, the benefits of the activity, as well as changes in their attitudes towards stress management strategies and courage in seeking help. Based on the evaluation results, there was an increase in understanding by 88.5%, an increase in awareness of the benefits of socialization by 88.5%, an increase in commitment to implementing stress management strategies by 80%, and an increase in courage to seek help if experiencing mental health problems by 71.4%.

Abstract

Abstrak: Di Indonesia acne vulgaris merupakan penyakit kulit yang umum nya terjadi, hampir setiap orang pernah mengalami Acne vulgaris, terutama pada usia muda, kejadiannya sekitar 85 - 100%. Prevalensi tertinggi terjadi pada wanita usia 14-17 tahun 83-85%, dan pria 16- 19 tahun, terhitung 95-100%. Penyebab Acne vulgaris multifaktorial, antara lain faktor genetik, faktor bangsa ras, faktor makanan, faktor iklim, faktor jenis kulit, faktor kebersihan, faktor penggunaan kosmetik, faktor stres, faktor infeksi dan faktor pekerjaan. Penderita biasanya mengeluh adanya ruam kulit berupa komedo, papul, pustula, nodus, atau kista dan dapat disertai rasa gatal. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan mengambil langkah-langkah pencegahan yang efektif di kalangan remaja. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang jerawat dan faktor resiko timbulnya luka jerawat pada remaja. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dengan peserta sebanyak 32 siswa/siswi remaja. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 18-19 November 2024 bertempat di SMA Kota Tegal. Hasil Kegiatan ini diawali dengan pre test, perkenalan, pemaparan materi dan diskusi. Tahap ke-1 dilakukan pre test, menunjukkan siswa dengan pengetahuan baik terdapat 20% sedangkan siswa dengan pengeathuan kurang terdapat 80,7%, kemuadian dilanjutkan pemberian materi tentang jerawat yang meliputi pengertian, penyebab, dampak dan pencegahan. Tahap ke-2 dilakukan penyuluhan tentang faktor resiko timbulnya luka jerawat. Tahap ke-3 dilakukan evaluasi dan hasilnya menjadi 80% dengan pengetahuan baik dan siswa dengan pengetahuan kurang menjadi 19,3%.Abstract: In Indonesia, acne vulgaris is a common skin disease, almost everyone has experienced Acne vulgaris, especially at a young age, the incidence is around 85 - 100%. The highest prevalence occurs in women aged 14-17 years 83-85%, and men 16-19 years, accounting for 95-100%. The causes of Acne vulgaris are multifactorial, including genetic factors, racial factors, food factors, climate factors, skin type factors, hygiene factors, cosmetic use factors, stress factors, infection factors and work factors. Sufferers usually complain of skin rashes in the form of blackheads, papules, pustules, nodes, or cysts and can be accompanied by itching. Therefore, it is important to raise awareness and take effective preventive measures among adolescents. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase knowledge about acne and risk factors for acne scars in adolescents. The activity method used was socialization with 32 teenage students as participants. The activity was carried out on November 18-19, 2024 at SMA Negeri 5 Tegal City. The results of this activity began with a pre-test, introduction, presentation of material and discussion. The first stage was a pre-test, showing that students with good knowledge were 20% while students with less knowledge were 80.7%, then continued with the provision of material about acne which included understanding, causes, impacts and prevention. The second stage was counseling about the risk factors for acne wounds. The third stage was an evaluation and the results were 80% with good knowledge and students with less knowledge were 19.3%.

Abstract

Based on the 2018 mental health data for adolescents in Indonesia, it was found that 9.8% experienced emotional mental disorders with symptoms of depression and anxiety among those aged >15 years. Adolescent mental health significantly influences their individual futures and has broader implications for families and communities. Emotional issues in adolescents can serve as life stressors, which, in turn, become a risk factor affecting their mental health. This research aims to investigate the influence of life stressors on the mental health of adolescents. This study adopts a quantitative approach with an observational design. The population comprises adolescents in Tegal City, and data collection employs the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The sample size, determined using the Slovin formula with a 0.05 error level, is set at 510 individuals. Data are collected through a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. The data analysis utilizes multiple linear regression analysis.The research findings indicate a significant influence of life stressors on Mental Health Disorders. It can be inferred that life stressors play a substantial role in mental health disorders among adolescents, highlighting them as risk factors for mental health issues in this demographic. The involvement of parents, teachers, community leaders, and the surrounding society is crucial in providing guidance and positive role models for adolescents.This study sheds light on the urgency of collective efforts in addressing life stressors and promoting mental well-being among adolescents, emphasizing the pivotal roles of key stakeholders in the community

Abstract

ABSTRAK Stres akademik merupakan kondisi mahasiswa yang tidak dapat menghadapi tuntutan akademik dan mempersepsi tuntutan-tuntutan akademik yang diterima sebagai gangguan. Mahasiswa merupakan salah satu bagian civitas akademika pada sebuah perguruan tinggi, yang seringkali terdapat problematika yang memberikan konsekuensi psikologi, tuntutan dalam menjalani sebuah kehidupan dari dalam maupun luar kampus, membuat mahasiswa harus mampu menghadapi banyaknya masalah yang muncul dengan lebih dewasa dan bertanggung jawab. Sehingga tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan Stres Akademik Mahasiswa Kesehatan dengan Perubahan Psikologis, Fisiologis, Perubahan Motivasi Dan Kualitas Belajar Mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan Korelasional. Sampel sebanyak 130 mahasiswa kesehatan Politeknik Harapan Bersama Kota Tegal. Variabel independen penelitian ini adalah Stres Akademik dan variabel dependen adalah Perubahan Psikologis, Fisiologis, Motivasi dan Kualitas Belajar Mahasiswa. Hasil yang didapatkan di penelitian berdasarkan hasil uji statistik (chi-square) pada alpha 5% diatas diketahui nilai p value 0,029 (p < 0,05). Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah didapatkan hubungan yang signifikan antara stres akademik dengan perubahan psikologis, fisiologis, motivasi dan kualitas belajar mahasiswa. Saran bagi Universitas dan institusi pendidikan memainkan peran penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung pembelajaran yang efektif, mengurangi stres akademik dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan akademik mahasiswa. Kata kunci: Stres Akademik, Psikologis, Fisiologi, Motivasi dan Kualitas belajar. ABSTRACT Academic stress is a condition of students who cannot face academic demands and perceive the academic demands received as a disturbance. Students are one part of the academic community at a university, which often has problems that have psychological consequences, demands in living a life from inside and outside the campus, making students must be able to deal with the many problems that arise more maturely and responsibly. So the purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between Academic Stress of Health Students with Psychological, Physiological Changes, Changes in Motivation and Student Learning Quality. This study uses corelational. The sample was 130 health students of Politeknik Harapan Bersama Tegal City. The independent variable of this research is Academic Stress and the dependent variable is Psychological, Physiological, Motivational Changes and Student Learning Quality. The results obtained in the study based on the results of statistical tests (chi-square) at 5% alpha above known p value 0.029 (p < 0.05). The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between academic stress and changes in psychological, physiological, motivation and quality of student learning. Suggestions for universities and educational institutions play an important role in creating an environment that supports effective learning, reduces academic stress and improves students' academic well-being. Abstract

Communication is a very important skill for a nurse in providing nursing care. Data shows that new graduates of nursing education programs still have to make extra efforts to communicate with patients. Efforts to improve communication experiences can be done in various ways, one of which is using simulations with role play techniques for nursing students in each learning process. This research aims to determine the application of the role play method in communication learning for nursing students in the third diploma nursing study program at the Harapan Bersama Polytechnic, Tegal City. This research is an experimental research using a one group pre test and post test design using a total sampling of 52 nursing students. Data collection was carried out using therapeutic communication observation sheets, communication behavior and role play implementation. The role play is designed according to the topic of therapeutic communication by each group by paying attention to the stages of creating the role play which are measured using an observation sheet. The results showed that there were differences in the average scores of pre- and post-treatment therapeutic communication skills with a significance level of p = 0.000 as well as differences in pre- and post-treatment communication behavior with a significance level of p = 0.000. Based on these results, it can be concluded that role play influences the therapeutic communication skills and behavior of nursing students, so that it can be applied as a learning method to achieve good therapeutic communication skills in nursing students.
