Abstract

This research examines the influence of lecturer performance evaluation on the quality of learning at STKIP Harapan Bima using quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data was collected through questionnaires from 200 students and in-depth interviews with lecturers and students. The research results show that 75% of students are satisfied with lecturers' performance, with an average satisfaction score of 4.2 out of 5. The quality of learning has increased, shown by 60% of students getting an A or B grade and 70% of students feeling an increase in the quality of learning after routine lecturer performance evaluations are carried out. Statistical analysis with Pearson correlation shows a significant positive correlation between lecturer performance evaluation and learning quality (r = 0.65, p < 0.01), with lecturer performance evaluation explaining 42% of the variability in learning quality (R² = 0.42). The most influential factor is the availability of lecturers for consultation. Perceptions of lecturers and students show that objective and constructive performance evaluations can increase lecturer motivation and, ultimately, the quality of learning. Research recommendations include implementing comprehensive and routine performance evaluations, using evaluation results for lecturer professional development, and further studies on specific factors and more extensive evaluation methods.

Abstract

Inclusive Village Women's Leadership Training aims to increase women's leadership capacity at the village level with an approach based on gender equality and inclusive development. This training involved 40 female participants from various villages in diverse areas, with a focus on empowering women through strengthening knowledge and skills in leadership, decision making and managing village resources. The methods used in this training include theoretical lectures, participatory discussions, simulations and role playing, case studies, and field experiences, all of which are designed to hone participants' practical skills in facing leadership challenges in their villages. The results of the training implementation showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of the concepts of inclusive leadership, gender equality and women's empowerment. Post-training evaluations also showed that most participants felt more confident in taking on leadership roles and playing an active role in decision making in their villages. However, challenges in implementing this training include knowledge gaps between participants, limited access to technology in some villages, and the need to strengthen more specific material according to the local context. Overall, this training was successful in providing a strong foundation for women to lead inclusively, but requires ongoing monitoring to ensure effective implementation at the village level.

Abstract

This study discusses best practices in managing multicultural character education in diversity-based schools. The results show that implementing multicultural values into the curriculum, learning activities, and school policies plays a significant role in creating an inclusive, tolerant, and harmonious educational environment. Success factors are supported by educator competence, policies that accommodate diversity, and active participation from the surrounding community. However, several challenges were identified, such as limited teacher training, inconsistency in policy implementation, and lack of public awareness of the importance of diversity values. This study recommends intensive and continuous training for teachers to improve their understanding of managing diversity. In addition, the development of a curriculum that explicitly integrates multicultural values and policies that support an inclusive culture in schools is highly recommended. Community involvement is also an important element in strengthening the implementation of multicultural education. By implementing these strategic steps, multicultural character education is expected to be an effective solution in building tolerance, cooperation, and social cohesion in a pluralistic society.

Abstract

Recurring global economic crises show the weakness of the conventional economic system in realizing fair, inclusive and sustainable growth. Sharia economics exists as an alternative solution by offering a system based on the values of justice, balance and social responsibility. This research aims to analyze the implementation of sharia economic principles and their contribution to sustainable economic development in Indonesia. The method used is descriptive qualitative through literature studies and case studies on sharia financial institutions and zakat and waqf management institutions. The research results show that sharia economics plays a significant role in empowering the community's economy, reducing social inequality, and strengthening the real sector through usury-free financial mechanisms, zakat distribution, and productive waqf management. However, the implementation of sharia economics still faces challenges in the form of low public literacy, limited regulations, and the need to increase human resource capacity. By strengthening policies and institutional support, sharia economics has great potential as a main pillar in building a sustainable and just economy.

Abstract

This study explores the role of spiritual leadership based on moral values applied by lecturers in improving students' emotional intelligence. By prioritising values such as integrity, honesty, empathy, and exemplary behaviour, lecturers function not only as academic educators but also as moral role models who shape students' character. This study shows that spiritual leadership creates a harmonious, supportive academic environment that focuses on students' moral and emotional development, which ultimately affects their academic achievement, social skills, and critical thinking skills. The study was conducted through a qualitative approach in a higher education environment, using in-depth interviews, FGDs, and observations. The results confirm that this leadership model has a positive impact on the development of students' emotional intelligence, which is very relevant to their academic success and professional lives. The study recommends that educational institutions support lecturers through spiritual leadership training and emotional intelligence development, as well as integrating moral activities such as ethical discussions and community service programs to strengthen students' character.
