Abstract

Theophylline is a methyl xanthine of alkaloid derivative compound has been used as a bronchodilator in the treatment of chronic lung disorders, especially asthma. Oral administration of theophylline causes inconvenient for patients including bitter taste, narrow therapeutic range, and indigestion due to increased of gastric acid secretion. Therefore, other administration of theophylline has been developed as transdermal delivery system. This study disscused about preparation of theophylline in ethosome as vesicular carrier. Preparation of ethosome was used hot method (40oC) and cool method (30oC). Characterization of ethosomes includes observation of shape and size of vesicles by microscopic method and the vesicles were fractionated by centrifugation then entrapment efficiency (% EE) were measured by spectrophotometric method. Then optimazed theophylline that entrapped in ethosome. Based on the results, ethosomes preparation by hot method were produced Small Unilamellar Vesicle (SUV), the size were 0,0522-0,100 µm, and the highest value of % EE was 98.95%, while ethosomes preparation by cold method were produced Small Unilamellar Vesicle (SUV), the size were 0.0522-0.100 μm, and the highest value of % EE was 99.80%. The optimum concentration of theophylline was entrapped in etosom was 0.1%. It was concluded that cold method was the appropriate method for preparation of theophylline in ethosome as vesicular carrier. Keywords: Etosome, theophylline, vesicular, transdermal

Abstract

Recurring global economic crises show the weakness of the conventional economic system in realizing fair, inclusive and sustainable growth. Sharia economics exists as an alternative solution by offering a system based on the values of justice, balance and social responsibility. This research aims to analyze the implementation of sharia economic principles and their contribution to sustainable economic development in Indonesia. The method used is descriptive qualitative through literature studies and case studies on sharia financial institutions and zakat and waqf management institutions. The research results show that sharia economics plays a significant role in empowering the community's economy, reducing social inequality, and strengthening the real sector through usury-free financial mechanisms, zakat distribution, and productive waqf management. However, the implementation of sharia economics still faces challenges in the form of low public literacy, limited regulations, and the need to increase human resource capacity. By strengthening policies and institutional support, sharia economics has great potential as a main pillar in building a sustainable and just economy.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Financial Accounting Standards for Entities Without Public Accountability (SAK ETAP) in the financial management of the Santong Jaya Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDesa Santong Jaya) in Santong Village, Kayangan District, North Lombok Regency. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the BUMDesa director, treasurer, business unit managers, and village government, as well as observation and documentation of financial reports. The study's results indicate that SAK ETAP implementation in BUMDesa Santong Jaya is still not optimal. The financial reports presented are not complete according to SAK ETAP standards, which require a balance sheet, income statement, statement of changes in equity, cash flow statement, and notes to the financial statements. The main obstacles include limited human resource competency in the field of accounting, a recording system that is not fully digital, and minimal ongoing training. This study recommends increasing the capacity of BUMDesa's human resources through SAK ETAP-based accounting training, development of a digital financial recording system, preparation of standardized financial SOPs, and ongoing mentoring from the local government or academics. Optimal implementation of SAK ETAP will increase transparency, accountability, and the quality of BUMDesa's financial information as a basis for strategic decisionmaking

Abstract

The Indonesian legal system still contains gender bias embedded in the substance, structure, and culture of law. This community service activity aims to: (1) enhance gender legal literacy among academics, legal practitioners, and the general public through a book review; (2) disseminate empirical findings on gender injustice in the Indonesian legal system; and (3) promote the Mubadalah perspective as an alternative framework in Islamic family law reform. The book review activity of "Mata Hukum, Mata Perempuan" was conducted on November 9, 2025, in North Lombok, involving keynote speakers, the author, and three reviewers from various disciplines. This book integrates legal feminism with the Mubadalah perspective to analyze gender bias in marriage law, the juvenile criminal justice system, child marriage prevention, and women's participation in state administration. The activity results showed high enthusiasm among participants in understanding structural gender injustice in Indonesian law. Discussions generated concrete recommendations for more gender-responsive legal reform, including revision of the Marriage Law, strengthening dual accountability mechanisms in the juvenile justice system, and empowering local customary institutions in preventing child marriage. The Mubadalah perspective proved effective as a bridge for dialogue between feminism and Islam in the context of Indonesian Muslim society.
