Abstract

Learning the interpretation of the Qur'an more precisely on thematic interpretation material, still faces obstacles in the field, including not being able to produce output that can use interpretation well. The purpose of this research is to understand: (1) the application of a communicative approach in learning interpretation of Qur’an at Al Jihad Islamic Boarding School Surabaya for female, (2) the obstacles faced by teachers in applying a communicative approach in learning interpretation of Qur’an at Al Jihad Islamic Boarding School Surabaya fro female. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. Research data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using Miles and Huberman's model, are: (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation, (4) concluding. The results showed that the application of the communicative approach through several steps, there are: short dialogues, exercises, questions, communicative expressions, analysis and concluding, then evaluation. And also there several obstacles in the application of the communicative approach, it is: the lack of confidence in students in expressing the results of thematic interpretations orally in Arabic, there are difficulties in developing the delivery of some material into a communicative approach, and the last is the lack of time available for learning interpretation of holy Qur’an. The conclusion of this study shows that a communicative approach is needed in learning interpretation of holy Qur’an on thematic interpretation material to be more effective.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the integration of Andragogy principles in the development of maharah qiro'ah at LPBA MASA Surabaya. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a focus on innovative approaches to learning Arabic. Research participants consisted of students and lecturers who were involved in developing maharah qiro'ah at LPBA. Data was collected through classroom observations, interviews with instructors, and student questionnaires. Research findings show that integrating the principles of Andragogy in the development of maharah qiro'ah makes a significant contribution in creating relevant and effective learning experiences for students. The use of Andragogy principles allows teachers to pay more attention to the independence, experience and learning needs of adult students in developing the ability to read Arabic texts. Challenges in integrating the principles of Andragogy include a lack of appropriate resources and a paradigm shift in learning approaches. However, the potential and benefits are enormous, including improving the quality of Arabic language learning and student motivation in deepening maharah qiro'ah. Recommendations include training and professional development for faculty, increasing access to resources, and developing curricula that are oriented to the learning needs of adult students. This research provides valuable insights for the development of Arabic language learning practices in similar educational institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penerapan metode Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab yang mengintegrasikan materi keislaman pada siswa berkebutuhan khusus di MTs Wachid Hasyim Surabaya. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melibatkan 11 siswa berkebutuhan khusus sebagai sampel melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode CIRC secara signifikan meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif siswa, kemampuan komunikasi Bahasa Arab, serta pemahaman materi keislaman secara kontekstual dan aplikatif. Selain aspek linguistik, metode ini juga berperan dalam pengembangan sosial emosional siswa melalui kerja kelompok yang suportif dan kolaboratif. Temuan ini menguatkan relevansi pendekatan tematik dan kooperatif dalam pembelajaran inklusif, serta memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi pendidik untuk mengoptimalkan proses belajar siswa berkebutuhan khusus di kelas Bahasa Arab.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan nilai-nilai Islami pada siswa SDN Jambangan, Sidoarjo, melalui pembiasaan sholat dhuha berjamaah. Latar belakang kegiatan ini berangkat dari pentingnya pembinaan spiritual di sekolah dasar yang seringkali masih bersifat formal dan kurang menyentuh aspek kesadaran ibadah siswa. Melalui kegiatan sholat dhuha berjamaah, diharapkan siswa dapat memperkuat nilai-nilai Islam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, seperti disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan kebersamaan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah religious habituation (pembiasaan religius), yang menekankan pada pembentukan karakter melalui praktik nyata dan keteladanan dari guru. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan setiap Jumat pagi dan melibatkan siswa kelas I–VI dengan pendampingan dari guru Pendidikan Agama Islam. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kedisiplinan, partisipasi ibadah, dan kesadaran spiritual siswa, sebagaimana terlihat dari observasi guru. Siswa tidak hanya aktif mengikuti sholat dhuha di sekolah, tetapi juga mulai membiasakan diri untuk melaksanakannya di rumah. Kegiatan sholat dhuha berjamaah ini membuktikan bahwa pembiasaan ibadah yang dilakukan secara rutin dan terarah mampu menjadi sarana efektif untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai keislaman di sekolah dasar. Program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model pemberdayaan karakter berbasis spiritual yang dapat diterapkan di sekolah lain untuk membentuk peserta didik yang religius, disiplin, dan berakhlakul karimah. Implikasi positif dari program ini adalah peningkatan karakter islami yang memperkuat akhlak mulia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari siswa.

Abstract

The abstract includes research objectives, methods and research results. This research aims to investigate the implementation and effectiveness of Knowledge Integration regarding Technological, Pedagogical, Content, Knowledge (TPACK) in the context of Maharah Qiro'ah learning. Qualitative research methods were used with a literature study approach. Maharah Qiro'ah material is delivered actively through the sam'iyyah-shafahiyah method using power point media. The research participants consisted of Arabic teachers who had implemented TPACK in teaching Maharah Qiro'ah at an educational institution. Data was collected through literature reviews, interviews with Arabic teachers involved in the learning process, and analysis of the learning materials used. Research findings show that implementing TPACK in Maharah Qiro'ah learning can improve the quality of teaching and learning. Teachers who have a good understanding of TPACK can integrate technology effectively in Maharah Qiro'ah teaching, thereby enriching students' learning experiences. However, challenges faced in implementing TPACK include lack of access to technology, lack of technology skills among teachers, and limited time for training. This study provides valuable insight into the importance of TPACK in the learning context of Maharah Qiro'ah and provides recommendations to support teachers in developing their TPACK skills.
