Abstract

Gratitude is an expression of gratitude to Allah SWT for the favors, gifts, and conveniences given. Gratitude is divided into gratitude in heart, words, and deeds. This study aims to determine the factors that influence gratitude by using a literature review technique. Literature search was carried out on electronic databases, google scholar, and google with the keyword gratitude. The results of this search indicate that there are two factors that influence gratitude. These factors are internal factors and external factors. Internal factors consist of religiosity, remembering God's favors, all favors will be held accountable, seeing people who are lower in rank, praying to be given help to be grateful, emotionality, prosociality, positive affect, good intentions, and the presence of psychopathology within. While external factors in the form of perceptions of peers and family roles.

Abstract

Abstract Fathers' involvement is often overlooked in the parenting discourse, despite its important role in shaping adolescents' mental health. However, related studies are scattered and have not been systematically reviewed. This review aims to examine fathers' involvement in parenting, the dimensions of involvement, its impact on adolescents' mental health, and factors that may moderate the relationship. This study is a Systematic literature review that follows the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Articles were searched through PsycINFO, PubMed, Springer, Ebsco, Google Scholar, and Scopus databases using keywords such as "father involvement", "adolescent mental health", "parenting style", "father absence", "psychological well-being", "emotional regulation", "self-esteem", dan "behavioral problems. Of the 1,238 articles identified, 17 articles met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed further. Selection was done through identification, screening, and eligibility assessment. Data were analyzed using a thematic approach. Analysis of 17 studies showed that father involvement, including involvement including physical presence, emotional support, cognitive involvement, open communication, and role as a role model with various positive indicators in adolescents, such as increased self-esteem, decreased symptoms of depression and anxiety, and better emotional regulation skills. Factors such as child gender, family economic status, quality of father-mother relationship, and cultural background function as moderators in the relationship. Father involvement has a significant influence on shaping adolescent mental health and behavior. These findings highlight the importance of a more holistic and participatory parenting approach, as well as the need for family-based interventions that strengthen the role of fathers. Keywords: Father Involvement; Mental Health; Adolescents.Abstrak Keterlibatan ayah dalam pengasuhan masih sering diabaikan dalam pengasuhan anak, padahal memiliki peran penting dalam pembentukan kesehatan mental remaja. Namun, studi terkait masih tersebar dan belum dikaji secara sistematis. Tinjauan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji keterlibatan ayah dalam pengasuhan, dimensi keterlibatan, dampaknya terhadap kesehatan mental remaja, serta faktor-faktor yang dapat memoderasi hubungan tersebut. Studi ini merupakan tinjauan pustaka sistematis yang mengikuti pedoman PRISMA 2020. Pencarian artikel dilakukan melalui database PsycINFO, PubMed, Springer, Ebsco, Google Scholar, dan Scopus menggunakan kata kunci seperti "father involvement", "adolescent mental health", "parenting style", "father absence", "psychological well-being", "emotional regulation", "self-esteem", dan "behavioral problems". Dari 1.238 artikel yang diidentifikasi, sebanyak 17 artikel memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan dianalisis lebih lanjut. Seleksi dilakukan melalui tahap identifikasi, penyaringan, dan penilaian kelayakan. Data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan tematik. Analisis terhadap 17 studi menunjukkan keterlibatan ayah yang mencakup beberapa dimensi antara lain interaksi emosional dan afeksi, kehadiran fisik, pendidik, pelindung, dan dukungan finansial. Hal ini berkorelasi dengan berbagai indikator positif pada remaja, seperti peningkatan harga diri, penurunan gejala depresi dan kecemasan, serta kemampuan regulasi emosi yang lebih baik. Faktor-faktor yang memoderasi seperti jenis sosial budaya, ekonomi dan pekerjaan, faktor psikologis dan emosional, faktor relasi keluarga dan dukungan sosial. Keterlibatan ayah memiliki pengaruh signifikan dalam membentuk kesehatan mental dan perilaku remaja. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan pengasuhan yang lebih holistik dan partisipatif, serta perlunya intervensi berbasis keluarga yang memperkuat peran ayah. Abstract

Background: Working mothers face challenges in juggling two roles simultaneously as employees and primary caregivers for their children at home. This dual role often leads to work-family conflict, particularly for mothers who must leave their children in childcare while working. This conflict is exacerbated by feelings of guilt for not being able to fully accompany their children, as well as concerns about the quality of substitute care. Purpose: To examine the relationship between mindful parenting and work-family conflict among working mothers who leave their children in childcare, in order to determine the extent to which mindful parenting can contribute to reducing conflict between work and family demands. Method: This study used a quantitative correlational approach with participants being working mothers who leave their children in childcare in Aceh. The instruments used were the Mindful Parenting Questionnaire and the Work-Family Conflict Scale. Results: Pearson's correlation test showed no significant relationship between mindful parenting and work-family conflict. These findings indicate that mindful parenting is not the sole factor influencing work-family conflict among working mothers. Conclusion: Therefore, it is important to explore other factors that may also contribute to work-family conflict in this group. Keyword: Mindful Parenting; Working Mother; Work-Family Conflict. Pendahuluan: Ibu bekerja menghadapi tantangan dalam menjalani dua peran sekaligus sebagai pekerja dan pengasuh utama anak di rumah. Peran ganda ini kerap menimbulkan work-family conflict terutama bagi ibu yang harus menitipkan anak selama bekerja. Konflik ini diperburuk oleh perasaan bersalah karena tidak dapat mendampingi anak secara penuh, serta kekhawatiran terhadap kualitas pengasuhan pengganti. Tujuan: Untuk mengkaji hubungan antara mindful parenting dan work-family conflict pada ibu bekerja yang menitipkan anak, guna mengetahui sejauh mana kesadaran penuh dalam pengasuhan dapat berkontribusi dalam menurunkan konflik antara tuntutan pekerjaan dan keluarga. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan partisipan ibu bekerja yang menitipkan anak di Aceh. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Mindful Parenting Questionnaire dan Work-Family Conflict Scale. Hasil: Uji korelasi Pearson menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara mindful parenting dan work-family conflict. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa mindful parenting bukanlah satu-satunya faktor yang memengaruhi work-family conflict pada ibu bekerja. Simpulan: Oleh karena itu, penting untuk mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor lain yang juga berpotensi berkontribusi terhadap terjadinya work-family conflict pada kelompok ini. Abstract

Background: Psychology students are a group that is vulnerable to emotional and psychological stress, both due to academic burden and expectations of future professional roles. More frequent exposure to various mental health issues can contribute to students’ psychological problems. The constant influx of information can overwhelm students and make it difficult for them to cope. Purpose: To identify the mental health profile of psychology students in terms of gender and describe the tendencies of mental disorders that appear in each gender. Method: This comparative quantitative study involved 70 psychology students. Data collection was carried out using Woodworth's Questionnaire instrument. Data were analyzed using an Independent Samples T-Test to examine differences in scores based on gender, along with descriptive statistics. Results: The analysis results showed a significant difference in mental health scores between male and female students (p = 0.045), with women scoring higher. The most prominent tendency of mental disorders in women was tendency of schizophrenia (35.9%), followed by impulsivity, emotional expression, and obsession. Meanwhile, in men, the issues that emerge are impulsivity, emotional instability, and schizophrenic tendencies, although in much lower proportions. Conclusion: There is a statistically significant difference between the mental health scores of male and female students. Keywords: Gender; Mental Health; Psychology Students; Tendency of Mental Disorders.   Pendahuluan: Mahasiswa psikologi merupakan kelompok yang rawan mengalami tekanan emosional dan psikologis, baik karena beban akademik maupun ekspektasi terhadap peran profesional di masa depan. Paparan yang lebih sering pada beragam isu Kesehatan mental dapat berkontribusi pada masalah psikologis mahasiswa. Masuknya informasi yang terus-menerus dapat membuat mahasiswa kewalahan dan kesulitan mengatasinya. Tujuan: Untuk mengidentifikasi profil kesehatan mental mahasiswa psikologi ditinjau dari jenis kelamin serta mendeskripsikan kecenderungan gangguan mental yang muncul pada masing-masing gender. Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif komperatif ini melibatkan 70 mahasiswa psikologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrument Woodworth’s Quesionnaire. Data dianalisis menggunakan Independent Samples T-Test untuk melihat perbedaan skor berdasarkan gender dan analisis deksriptif. Hasil: Analisis menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara skor kesehatan mental mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan (p = 0.045), di mana perempuan menunjukkan skor yang lebih tinggi. Tendensi gangguan mental yang paling menonjol pada perempuan adalah tendensi schizophrenia (35.9%), diikuti oleh impulsivitas, ekspresi emosi, dan obsesi. Sementara pada laki-laki, isu yang muncul adalah impulsivitas, ketidakstabilan emosi, dan tendensi schizophrenia, meskipun dalam proporsi yang jauh lebih rendah. Simpulan: Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik antara skor kesehatan mental mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan.
