Abstract

Law students at Syiah Kuala University (USK) face significant challenges in planning their careers, mainly due to a lack of understanding of career opportunities in the legal field and limited access to career counseling services. This condition often results in uncertainty in career decision-making, which has an impact on anxiety and academic performance. This community service activity aims to provide a solution through the implementation of a structured career counseling program. The method used is descriptive quantitative research which includes individual counseling sessions and assessments using inventory tests, in the form of The Student Career Construction Inventory (SCCI), Self-Reporting Questionnaire (SRQ) and Color Personality Test. The results of this community service activity indicate that some students gain increased knowledge and understanding related to the career they want to achieve. In addition, there are mental health conditions and personalities that also show a relationship with the need for career counseling in students.

Abstract

Abstract Fathers' involvement is often overlooked in the parenting discourse, despite its important role in shaping adolescents' mental health. However, related studies are scattered and have not been systematically reviewed. This review aims to examine fathers' involvement in parenting, the dimensions of involvement, its impact on adolescents' mental health, and factors that may moderate the relationship. This study is a Systematic literature review that follows the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Articles were searched through PsycINFO, PubMed, Springer, Ebsco, Google Scholar, and Scopus databases using keywords such as "father involvement", "adolescent mental health", "parenting style", "father absence", "psychological well-being", "emotional regulation", "self-esteem", dan "behavioral problems. Of the 1,238 articles identified, 17 articles met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed further. Selection was done through identification, screening, and eligibility assessment. Data were analyzed using a thematic approach. Analysis of 17 studies showed that father involvement, including involvement including physical presence, emotional support, cognitive involvement, open communication, and role as a role model with various positive indicators in adolescents, such as increased self-esteem, decreased symptoms of depression and anxiety, and better emotional regulation skills. Factors such as child gender, family economic status, quality of father-mother relationship, and cultural background function as moderators in the relationship. Father involvement has a significant influence on shaping adolescent mental health and behavior. These findings highlight the importance of a more holistic and participatory parenting approach, as well as the need for family-based interventions that strengthen the role of fathers. Keywords: Father Involvement; Mental Health; Adolescents. Abstract

Soap is one of the essential products in human life, used to cleanse the body from dust and dirt on the skin. Bath soap has developed into a primary necessity in society. Soap can also be used to treat skin diseases caused by bacteria and fungi. In South Aceh, there is an abundance of lemongrass plants (Cymbopogon Citratus), making them an easily accessible raw material for making solid soap. The processing of lemongrass oil soap involves turning it into soap using ingredients such as lemongrass oil, VCO (Virgin Coconut Oil), NaOH (sodium hydroxide), and water. All the ingredients are first weighed according to specified measurements, then mixed until thickened, poured into molds, and left to set for 2 days. The method used in the production of lemongrass oil soap is the experimental method. After the lemongrass soap is produced, its physical properties, such as shape, color, and texture, are observed. In the moisture content test, the water content found was 2.24% in sample 1, 2.99% in sample 2, and 3.59% in sample 3. In this case, the amount of lemongrass oil used affects the water content—the more lemongrass oil used, the higher the water content.

Abstract

Background: Working mothers face challenges in juggling their dual roles as employees and primary caregivers at home, which often leads to work-family conflict. This conflict is exacerbated by feelings of guilt for not being able to fully accompany their children, as well as concerns about the quality of substitute care. Purpose: To examine the relationship between mindful parenting and work-family conflict among working mothers who leave their children in childcare, in order to determine the extent to which mindful parenting can contribute to reducing conflict between work and family demands. Method: The approach used in this study was quantitative with a correlational design involving working mothers who left their children in Aceh. The instruments used were the Mindful Parenting Questionnaire and the Work-Family Conflict Scale. Results: Pearson's correlation test showed no significant relationship between mindful parenting and work-family conflict, indicating that mindful parenting is not the only factor that influences the role conflict of working mothers. Conclusion: These findings open up opportunities to explore other factors that contribute to work-family conflict. Keyword: Mindful Parenting; Working Mother; Work-Family Conflict.

Abstract

This research study was conducted to understand the phenomenon of cyberbullying, which is becoming increasingly prevalent in various circles, including among students. In addition to cyberbullying, the study examined aspects related to student resilience. The study involved 150 student respondents from junior and senior high schools in the Aceh Province, primarily from Banda Aceh, Aceh Besar, Aceh Selatan, Pidie, and Bireuen. Using a quantitative approach, the sample was collected over six months at the beginning of 2025. Preliminary test results showed that the reliability test for the cyberbullying scale was 0.879, while the reliability test for the resilience scale was 0.910. The research findings revealed a negative relationship between resilience and cyberbullying, with a correlation coefficient of -0.176. This indicates that higher levels of resilience are associated with lower levels of cyberbullying. Descriptively, students in Aceh, at both the junior and senior high school levels, have a high level of resilience. This is reflected in the low prevalence of cyberbullying: 36.7% among junior high school students and 46% among senior high school students. The high cyberbullying category was only found among 2% of junior high school students, and not at all among senior high school students (0%). Keywords: resilience, cyberbullying, Student in Aceh
