Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Lettuce (Lactuca Sativa L) is a horticultural commodity that is in great demand because of its high nutritional content. However, increasing lettuce plant production is often constrained by suboptimal soil conditions, such as organosol soil. One alternative that can be used to increase lettuce growth and production is to use ecoenzymes from kepok banana peels. This study aims to examine the effect of kepok banana peel ecoenzymes on lettuce plant growth and production in organosol soil. This study used the Randomized Block Design (RAD) method with three treatments of ecoenzyme administration at doses of 25 ml/liter, 30 ml/liter, and 35 ml/liter of water, and 9 replications. The results showed that administration of kepok banana peel ecoenzymes at a dose of 25 ml/liter gave the best results in increasing the number of leaves, leaf width, leaf length, crown weight, and root weight of lettuce plants. Although it did not have a significant effect on fresh weight and root length, kepok banana peel ecoenzymes can be an effective alternative to increase lettuce plant growth. Based on these findings, the use of kepok banana peel ecoenzyme at the right dose can increase lettuce cultivation yields in organosol soil, as an alternative to environmentally friendly organic fertilizers.

Abstract

The Sawah Bangsa farmer group is located in the Kenagarian Kamang Tangah Anam Suku, Kamang Magek District, Agam Regency. The Sawah Bangsa farmer group is engaged in the production and marketing of organic rice and has become an exemplary farmer group in Agam Regency. This research aims to analyze the organic rice business development strategy. The research was carried out from March to June 2024 by conducting interviews with heads of farmer groups and experts to support the research. The data analysis used is Strategic Position and Action Evaluation (SPACE) Matrix analysis. Based on financial strength, competitive advantage, environmental stability and industrial strength, the Sawah Bangsa farmer group obtained an average rating sequentially, namely 2.5, -2, -1.75 and 4.5, so that the vertical axis value was 0.75 and the horizontal axis was 2.5. The results of the SPACE analysis strategy for the Sawah Bangsa farmer group's organic rice business are in the aggressive quadrant with strategy recommendations: integration (forward integration, backward integration, lateral integration), market penetration, market development, product development and diversification (related or unrelated).

Abstract

Research aim: This research aims to design an appropriate strategy that can be applied to efforts to develop the Kapalo Banda tourist attraction. Methode: Qualitative Descriptive, namely this research describes the condition of objects, both external and internal, naturally and objectively using the strategy selection stage in the form of the input stage with the EFI Matrix and EFE Matrix, the matching stage with the IE Matrix and SWOT Matrix, and the decision stage with the QSPM Matrix Research Finding: The results of data analysis at the matching stage using the IE Matrix obtained a strategy in Quadrant II. Then, at the strategy matching stage with the SWOT Matrix, eight types of strategies were obtained that could be used in the development of Kapalo Banda tourism. Theoretical contribution: This study can explain the importance of tourism area development strategies for attracting visitors by continuously identifying internal strengths and external threats. Practical implication: The resulting alternative strategies can be implemented in stages, based on the needs and capabilities of existing resources. Research limitation: This research focuses on the Kapalo Banda tourist attraction in Kenagarian Taram, Limapuluh Kota Regency

Abstract

This research comprehensively evaluates the economic, technological, and environmental feasibility of green hydrogen adoption in Bogor City's transportation sector. Utilizing Techno-Economic Assessments (TEA), Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and Scenario Modeling, the study compares centralized versus decentralized production pathways. TEA findings indicate that decentralized production is not financially viable, while centralized production with CCS technology shows positive financial potential, underscoring the role of economies of scale. LCA results confirm that green hydrogen offers significant emission reduction potential, up to 90% compared to fossil fuel alternatives, and produces zero emissions at the point of use, though high CCS costs remain a constraint. Scenario Modeling determined that Scenario 3 (high carbon tax, government subsidies, and reduced renewable energy prices) is the most effective pathway for accelerated adoption. Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) suggests that long-term non-economic benefits, such as improved public health and reduced air pollution, significantly outweigh high initial infrastructure costs. This study provides a novel, integrated assessment for a high-density urban context, advising policymakers to implement a higher carbon tax and subsidies to expedite the transition.
