Abstract

ter and area of ​​flat shapes in the f Geometry is a branch of mathematics that is taught with the aim of enabling students to understand the properties and relationships between geometric elements and to encourage students to think critically and solve problems in everyday life. This research aims to analyze the difficulties of class XII MAS Modern Arafah students in answering geometry questions. This research uses an exploratory study in the form of a written description test on geometry material given to 10 students of XII MAS Modern Arafah. The results of the analysis show that there are difficulties faced by students in answering geometry questions, these difficulties include (1) students have difficulty using concepts, (2) students have difficulty understanding the material, and (3) students have difficulty solving verbal problems. The results of this research can be used as material for developing geometric problems, especially regarding the perimeter and area of ​​flat shapes in the future. uture.

Abstract

Background: The literature on antithrombotic treatment for cervical artery dissection (CAD) reveals a complex interplay of therapeutic strategies, clinical outcomes, and ongoing debates regarding the optimal management of this condition. The foundational work by (E Hinson et al., 2010) underscores the critical need for systematic evaluation of antithrombotic therapy in trauma patients with CAD, highlighting the potential risks and benefits associated with anticoagulants and antiplatelet agents. This initial exploration sets the stage for subsequent studies that delve deeper into the comparative efficacy of these treatment modalities. Literature Review: The article discusses the relationship between physical trauma, particularly neck movements involving hyperextension and rotation, and the onset of CAD. This correlation is critical for clinicians to consider when assessing patients with a history of neck trauma, as it may inform both diagnosis and treatment strategies. The authors’ assertion that the prognosis for disability following CAD is generally favorable, with a low mortality rate, provides a reassuring perspective for both clinicians and patients. Conclusion: In conclusion, the literature on antithrombotic treatment for cervical artery dissection illustrates a pressing need for further research to clarify the optimal management strategies. The existing studies highlight the complexities surrounding treatment efficacy, the necessity for standardized guidelines, and the importance of a comprehensive understanding of CAD's clinical implications. The call for larger, multicenter studies is vital to address the current gaps in knowledge and improve patient outcomes in this challenging area of clinical practice.

Abstract

Background: The literature on antiviral treatments for COVID-19 reflects a rapidly evolving field, characterized by a diversity of therapeutic strategies and ongoing clinical investigations. The collaborative efforts of various institutions have been pivotal in identifying effective treatment options, as evidenced by the RECOVERY trial's findings on dexamethasone and remdesivir's efficacy (Sarkar et al., 2020). The urgency for effective treatments is underscored by the ongoing transmission of the virus and the emergence of new variants, necessitating a comprehensive evaluation of available antiviral agents. Literature Review: Favipiravir has emerged as a significant candidate for treating mild to moderate COVID-19 cases, with systematic reviews and meta-analyses indicating its clinical efficacy (Hassanipour et al., 2021). The comparative analysis of favipiravir and remdesivir highlights their mechanisms of action, reinforcing the need for continued exploration of these and other antiviral options (Andrei Negru et al., 2022). Furthermore, molnupiravir has gained attention for its promising pharmacokinetics and clinical trial results, demonstrating its potential in the antiviral arsenal against COVID-19 (Khiali et al., 2022). The landscape of antiviral therapies is further enriched by a comprehensive review of small-molecular therapeutics, emphasizing the need for novel strategies to address the challenges posed by emerging variants (Zhong et al., 2022). The repurposing of established drugs with known safety profiles remains a critical area of focus, as highlighted by the analysis of various antiviral agents, including remdesivir and favipiravir (Sahin et al., 2022).. Conclusion: In conclusion, the body of literature reflects significant advancements in the antiviral treatment of COVID-19 while highlighting the complexities and challenges that remain. The continuous evaluation and adaptation of therapeutic strategies are essential to effectively combat the evolving landscape of COVID-19 and its associated variants.

Abstract

The aim of this assistance is to improve understanding and skills for students who have difficulty learning mathematics, especially in the material "Equations of Lines Through Two Points". The implementation of this community service research follows the activities of carrying out action research which consists of preparation or planning, implementation or evaluation. Mentoring was carried out at MTs S Modern Arafah for class VIII C students regarding the equation of a line through two points. Mentoring is carried out by 3 mentors, each mentor accompanies 2 students who are experiencing difficulties in learning mathematics. The results of mentoring show that students feel helped and can have a positive impact. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of students who always ask about the material and steps to solve problems that students don't understand so that it can foster students' enthusiasm for learning in mathematics learning.

Abstract

Operasi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bentuk aljabar merupakan salah satu materi penting dalam pembelajaran aljabar. Pada kenyataannya, masih banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar penjumlahan dan pengurangan aljabar disebabkan pembelajaran didominasi cara-cara formal sehingga hal ini tidak mendukung pemahaman siswa tentang konsep penjumlahan dan pengurangan bentuk aljabar. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan aktivitas belajar yang menekankan pada pemahaman konsep. Peneliti merancang aktivitas pembelajaran operasi penjumlahan dan pengurangan dengan menggunakan pendekatan PMRI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kontribusi berupa hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) tentang materi operasi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bentuk aljabar dengan menggunakan pendekatan PMRI. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 29 Kerinci yang terdiri dari 15 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian desain research. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar aktrivitas siswa (LAS), observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Data yang telah dikumpulkan, dianalisis dengan cara yang meliputi mereduksi, menampilkan, dan menyimpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya kontribusi berupa HLT tentang materi operasi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bentuk aljabar dengan menggunakan pendekatan PMRI dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami konsep operasi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bentuk aljabar melalui pembelajaran dunia nyata atau pengalaman siswa atau hal yang dapat dibayangkan oleh siswa menggunakan LAS yang diberikan.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to design and build a web-based Patient Administration Information System at the ATHA Perdagangan Clinic to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of patient administration services. This system was developed to replace the manual processes currently used, such as patient registration, drug data management, room data management, and recording inpatient and outpatient payment transactions, which are prone to errors and time-consuming. The system development method includes needs analysis, system design using Visual Basic 2010 and Microsoft Access Database, user interface implementation, and system testing. The results of the study indicate that the system built is able to speed up the administration process, minimize data input errors, and produce fast, accurate, and structured reports. The implementation of this system makes it easier for administrative staff to manage patient data, while improving the quality of service at the ATHA Perdagangan Clinic.Keywords: patient administration; visual basic 2010; database access.  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun Sistem Informasi Administrasi Kepasienan berbasis web pada Klinik ATHA Perdagangan guna meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi layanan administrasi pasien. Sistem ini dikembangkan untuk menggantikan proses manual yang selama ini digunakan, seperti pencatatan pasien, pengelolaan data obat, pengaturan data ruang, serta pencatatan transaksi pembayaran rawat inap dan rawat jalan, yang rentan terhadap kesalahan dan memakan waktu. Metode pengembangan sistem meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem menggunakan Visual Basic 2010 dan Database Microsoft Access, implementasi antarmuka pengguna, serta pengujian sistem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dibangun mampu mempercepat proses administrasi, meminimalkan kesalahan input data, serta menghasilkan laporan yang cepat, akurat, dan terstruktur. Implementasi sistem ini memberikan kemudahan bagi petugas administrasi dalam mengelola data pasien, sekaligus meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan di Klinik ATHA Perdagangan.Kata Kunci: administrasi pasien; visual basic 2010; database access
