Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang antarmuka pengguna (UI) dan pengalaman pengguna (UX) aplikasi rekam data tridharma dosen berbasis Android menggunakan metode User-Centered Design (UCD). Fokus penelitian adalah pada tahap awal desain, yaitu hingga pembuatan sketsa wireframe. Permasalahan yang diangkat adalah inefisiensi dan ketidakakuratan dalam proses pencatatan manual kegiatan tridharma dosen, yang meliputi penelitian, dan pengabdian masyarakat. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi literatur. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari 15 dosen dan 2 staf administrasi dari Program Studi Informatika. Proses desain mengikuti tahapan UCD, dimulai dari analisis konteks penggunaan, spesifikasi kebutuhan pengguna, hingga perancangan solusi desain dalam bentuk sketsa wireframe. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kebutuhan utama pengguna adalah kemudahan input data. Sketsa wireframe yang dihasilkan mencakup 9 layar utama: login, Halaman Utama, input data Penelitian, input data pengabdian, profil, dan lapaoran. Desain menekankan pada simplisitas, konsistensi, dan kemudahan navigasi

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis struktur frasa metafora pada penamaan kedai kopi di Makassar dengan pendekatan semantik kognitif. Tujuannya adalah mengidentifikasi pola gramatikal, relasi makna, dan fungsi simbolik metafora dalam konteks branding bisnis kuliner. Data diperoleh dari observasi terhadap 15 nama kedai kopi yang dipilih secara purposif, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teori Conceptual Metaphor (Lakoff & Johnson, 2003) dan semiotika sosial (van Leeuwen, 2021). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga temuan utama: (1) Dominasi struktur frasa nominal yang membangun relasi asosiatif antara kopi dengan konsep sebagai ekspresi emosi; (2) Keberagaman fungsi metafora, mulai dari pembentukan ikatan emosional hingga penyampaian identitas kultural metafora akademik); (3) Kompleksitas makna yang dipengaruhi oleh pengetahuan budaya dan pengalaman sensorik konsumen. Penelitian ini memperkaya kajian linguistik kognitif dengan mengungkap kreativitas metaforis dalam konteks bisnis lokal, sekaligus memberikan implikasi praktis bagi pelaku usaha dalam strategi penamaan merek. Temuan juga menunjukkan bagaimana metafora tidak hanya berperan sebagai alat linguistik, tetapi juga sebagai medium konstruksi identitas sosial di ruang urban kontemporer.

Abstract

This community service is focused on improving students' listening and memory skills through the implementation of an educational "chain whisper" game integrated with local wisdom. The background for this activity is the urgent need to strengthen students' listening and memory abilities amidst a lack of interactive learning methods that are relevant to the cultural context. It uses a participatory and educational approach in several stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The main results show that this approach successfully generated student enthusiasm, encouraged active participation, and significantly improved their ability to listen for details and their memory for the information conveyed. In addition, this activity also helped foster students' appreciation for local cultural heritage and noble values. It is concluded that the chain whisper game rooted in local wisdom is an effective and enjoyable method for developing students' listening and memory skills while also preserving culture.

Abstract

The main objectives of this research were to determine the differences of language variation in the use of regional language  especially  Luwu, North Luwu and East Luwu in South Sulawesi area. The descriptive qualitative research method was applied by the researcher. The research was conducted at Luwu, North Luwu and East Luwu. The researcher describes that variety of luwu, North Luwu and East Luwu. In this research the researcher using purposive sampling, the researcher observed and interviewed all of the respondents  who from Luwu, North Luwu, and East Luwu. The researcher used video recording and field notes to conduct observation. Respondents’ activities and attitudes social was captured on video. Meanwhile, the researcher used field notes to obtain more accurate data. Based on the observation that The language variation in Luwu were different with the language  North Luwu people and East Luwu, because the variation Luwu language has same the similarity language spoken Buginese people and near also from the land of Buginese are. There were several factors that caused language variations of Luwunese including internal factors such as self perception, perception of language, language difficulties , and external factors such as social judgment. The factors divided into three categories: linguistic factors, which cover linguistic difficulties, psychological factors, and environmental factors. As a result, it is suggested that the researcher and reader get to know more about the language variations of Luwunese. By becoming acquainted with the language variations of Luwunese, the people has to study about the language of variety, in order that can helping communicate with the  kind.
