Abstract

Pondok Pesantren, as religious education institutions, play an important role in promoting a moderate understanding of religion in Indonesia. Despite widespread support for religious moderation by various stakeholders, there is growing concern about the religious practices of the population. This is evidenced by the presence of extremist movements and acts of terrorism in Indonesia, such as the terrorist attack on the Cathedral Church in Makassar on March 28, 2021. The attack was carried out by the Jamaah Ansharut Daula network, commonly known as JAD. The research will utilize a qualitative approach, using a phenomenological study design. The researcher examines the data, converting interview recordings into written text through transcription. The results of existing data will then be subject to qualitative descriptive analysis. The results show, steps that can be taken in strengthening religious moderation and the profile of Pancasila by maintaining religious diversity, strengthening inter-religious relations, offering a thorough religious education that is reasonable and balanced, promoting tolerance, engaging in efforts to increase tolerance, and promoting unity between religions.

The methodology of this research involved distributing a prepared questionnaire regarding inter-religious tolerance attitudes in elementary schools. Involving surveys, interviews, observations, documentation, and data analysis then providing a detailed description of the data collected. The steps in conducting research with a phenomenological approach, namely determining the location and individuals, data collection techniques, data recording procedures, field issues, and data storage stages. The results of this study show that (1) the curriculum design integrates tolerance values. (2) educators consistently incorporate teachings about toleration between religious groups into their teaching materials (3) educators serve as role models by symbolizing a tolerant lifestyle, and (4) organize significant religious events and community activities to further promote tolerance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explore the learning evaluation tool. The research methodology used in this study adopts a model approach, specifically using Content Analysis. The main source of data that has been analyzed is the content contained in the learning evaluation tool. Evaluation is a systematic procedure that involves the collection of diverse data to provide a comprehensive assessment of student progress in learning. It is important for teachers to have a comprehensive understanding of student development to effectively ensure the successful completion of the learning process. In a broad sense, evaluation instruments can be categorized into two different types: non-test and test-based. Often, both categories of evaluation tools are referred to as evaluation methodologies. The classification of test techniques or methods for test performance can be categorized in three different ways, namely: 1) Examination in written form, 2) Oral testing and 3) Practical testing. In order to ensure reliable evaluation, it is essential that the evaluation tool has a high quality standard, along with other influential elements such as the performance of the test itself, the competence of the examiner responsible for managing and verifying the test results, and the environmental conditions in which evaluation is carried out.
