Abstract

Futurologists, since the 20th century, have predicted that the Indonesian nation will carry out a process of secularization, which makes the role of religion increasingly dominant in decision making, both in the social, economic, political and cultural spheres. The dominance of science and technology will shift to religious considerations in decision making in social life. Islamic education as a vehicle to teach that religion is a source of peace must make a transformative breakthrough, thus that Islamic values return to their basic framework. This article by philosophical study intends to trace the contribution of Sufism to Islamic education. It’s found that a conflict of understanding between the sharia and the essence of Sufism has resulted in a polytheism view. This happened because the inability to rationalize philosophical Sufism became mysticism. This inability to implicate the search for divine values only focuses on philosophical truth values, which leads to the dualism of truth between the sharia and the essence. In fact, these two paths of truth are integrated and united, thus contributing to the fortification of the formation of noble character in Islamic education.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a high demand in the world of education, especially the professional educator. Anxiety of students when they are in class or classroom is considered a prison for the students is evidence of a failure in education. For that reason the idea in searching professional educator model from The Qur’an perspective should always be sought; how the pattern and model of professional ideal educator in the Islamic view. The approach used in this research is qualitative; the data used is documentary data both secondary and primary date which then dissected by using descriptive analysis approach. In the Qur’an perspective, especially in Sura Ali Imran: 159, it is stated that the professional teacher is able to master the material and methodology simultaneously. They can not be separated from one another. In addition, the teacher is said to be a professional when he or she becomes a role model which must be obeyed (digugu) and imitated (ditiru) when he is both in the environment of the educational institution and in the society where he lives and interacts. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tuntutan yang begitu besar dalam dunia pendidikan terutama sekali guru profesinal. Kegundahan para peserta didik ketika berada dalam ruang kelas atau kelas dianggap sebagai penjara bagi para siswanya merupakan bukti adanya kegagalan dalam sebuah pendidikan. Untuk itu gagasan dalam pencarian model pendidik profesional perspektif Al-Qur’an harus senantiasa dicari; bagaimana pola maupun model guru profesional yang ideal dalam pandangan Islam. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif; data yang digunakan adalah data yang bersifat dokumenter baik data yang bersifat sekunder maupun primer yang kemudian dibedah dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif analisis. Perspektif Al-Qur’an, khususnya dalam Surat Ali Imran: 159, menyatakan bahwa guru dikatakan profesional apabila ia mampu menguasai materi dan metodologi secara bersamaan. Keduanya tidak bisa dipisahkan antara satu dengan yang lainnya. Selain daripada itu guru dikatakan professional manakala ia menjadikan role model (uswah hasanah) yang harus digugu dan ditiru baik ketika ia berada dalam lingkungan institusi pendidikan maupun dalam lingkungan masyarakat dimana ia tinggal dan berinteraksi.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the implementation of online learning of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in elementary schools. By using the literature study method, this study found that the COVID-19 pandemic had a positive and negative impact on the implementation of online learning in elementary schools. The impact is experienced by students, parents, teachers, and has an impact on learning itself. On the positive side, online learning can prevent transmission of the virus to other people, the learning atmosphere at home for students can be more conducive, parents can increase their time together with children, teachers can improve digital literacy skills, and learning can be more varied. On the other hand, online learning has the opportunity to widen the gap between students in rural areas and students in urban areas due to differences in facilities, parents’ educational background, internet access and technology.Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak pandemi covid-19 terhadap penyelenggaraan pembelajaran daring Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di Sekolah Dasar. Dengan menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan, penelitian ini menemukan pandemi covid-19 memberikan dampak yang positif dan negatif terhadap implementasi pembelajaran daring di lingkup Sekolah Dasar. Dampak tersebut dialami oleh siswa, orang tua, guru, dan berdampak pada pembelajaran itu sendiri. Pada sisi positif, pembelajaran daring dapat mencegah penularan virus ke orang lain, suasana belajar di rumah bagi siswa dapat lebih kondusif, orang tua dapat menambah waktu kebersamaannya dengan anak, guru mampu meningkatkan kemampuan literasi digital, dan pembelajaran dapat lebih variatif. Pada sisi lain, pembelajaran daring berpeluang untuk memperlebar kesenjangan yang terjadi antara siswa di perdesaan dengan siswa di perkotaan karena perbedaan fasilitas, latar belakang pendidikan orang tua, akses internet dan teknologi.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine how multicultural education is incorporated into PAI learning in vocational schools. This research was conducted at SMKN 4 Cilegon City. The research method uses a qualitative approach. The first data collection method was interviews with school principals, PAI subject teachers and students. The second is documentation and observation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results of the author's research show that multicultural education in PAI learning: 1) Applying knowledge that upholds the principles of love, openness and respect for each other 2) Recognizing religious tolerance among all members of society in the context of multicultural education in school life.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the education paradigm around the world, including in Indonesia. The focus of this journal is to investigate post-pandemic Islamic religious education learning policies in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and Primary Schools. This study aims to analyse the strategies and policies adopted by these educational institutions in facing the challenges of distance learning and the implementation of health protocols. The research methods used were case studies and in-depth interviews with key stakeholders such as school principals, teachers, parents and students themselves. Data was analysed using a qualitative approach to describe the changes in learning strategies, the role of technology in teaching Islam, and the challenges and opportunities faced in the adaptation process. The results show variations in the implementation of learning policies, depending on technological infrastructure, availability of human resources and parental support. Nonetheless, Islamic religious education remains a top priority with an emphasis on religious and moral values amid the global health crisis. The implications of this study are the need for improved technological infrastructure, more intensive teacher training in online learning and the important role of families in supporting religious education at home.

Abstract

Knowing the implementation of authentic assessment by PAI teachers in the learning process towards the readiness of implementing the independent curriculum which requires teachers to carry out authentic assessments is the goal to be achieved in this research. Qualitative descriptive is the method used in this research. Data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research sample was taken purposively, namely as many as 6 PAI teachers (Al-Quran Hadith, Fikih, Akidah Akhlak). The results obtained from the research show that there is an influence between the habit of applying authentic assessments on the readiness to implement the independent curriculum. As many as 66.6% of teachers stated that they understood authentic assessment and of the 66.6% of teachers who understood, 25% had not implemented authentic assessment. This is caused by teachers who think that authentic assessment is quite complicated to do and requires a long process that requires it in the long term. This has an impact on the lack of readiness to implement authentic independent curriculum assessments. Teachers who have not carried out authentic assessments feel unprepared if they have to apply authentic assessment to an independent curriculum, if there is no training on an independent curriculum, especially in matters related to authentic assessment

Abstract

Kejujuran merupakan sebuah sifat seseorang yang dapat dipercaya dalam segala hal, baik dalam perkataan dan perbuatan. Dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, orang tua memiliki peran penting dalam menanamkan dan meningkatkan karakter jujur anak karena mereka menjadi orang yang paling dekat dengan anak dan menentukan ke mana anak akan diarahkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan bagaimana peran orang tua dalam meningkatkan nilai kejujuran dalam masyarakat. Penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus agar mendapatkan hasil yang kompleks serta menyeluruh dari informan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan observasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam meningkatkan kejujuran dalam masyarakat berawal dari penanaman sikap jujur pada setiap anak oleh orang tua, bukan hanya sekedar diberikan bekal pengetahuan kognitif tetapi juga hal-hal yang afektif dan berhubungan dengan kehidupan nyata. Pembiasaan sikap jujur pada anak merupakan awal dari pembentukan kejujuran pada masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran orang tua dalam meningkatkan nilai-nilai kejujuran dalam masyarakat menjadi peran penting dan dibutuhkan

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of implementing HOTS questions on the independence of students and the development of Panca Jiwa at Darunna'im Islamic Boarding School during the Ujian Muroja'ah Ammah. Historically, students have focused on religious studies, but this has now expanded to include cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities. HOTS questions play a significant role in the educational process because they test beyond memorization and require complex problem-solving skills. This research uses meta-analysis data from 20 national and international journals published between 2015 and 2021 to measure the influence of HOTS on student abilities. The findings show that participation in HOTS questions increases student independence by 45.70% and develops Panca Jiwa by 35.19%, with an effect size of 2.01, which is considered high. These results indicate that the implementation of HOTS questions in the curriculum significantly affects student independence and the development of Panca Jiwa in the Darunna'im Islamic Boarding School environment during the Ujian Muroja'ah Ammah in Cirende Kalanganyar, Lebak, Banten.

Abstract

In implementing an independent curriculum, educators are expected to be able to meet the learning needs of each student with different characteristics. To realize the expected learning objectives of differentiated learning is the right idea. But the facts show that it is still rare for teachers to be willing to work on this because they do not have a clear concept to carry it out. This study aims to fulfill the implementation of differentiated learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMAS Bina Putera-Kopo. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Research that uses hypothesis testing through data on words compiled, and data can be compiled for analysis using narrative descriptions. This study found that in an effort to implement differentiation, the following steps are needed; first, planning is carried out by mapping the initial abilities of students, what must be learned is interest and readiness to learn and determine essential material in learning outcomes; Second, it performs three components, namely the differentiation of content, processes, and products. Third, conduct an evaluation to determine the effectiveness and success rate of the objectives of the learning carried out. The researcher concluded that differentiation learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects provides an opportunity to learn naturally, starting from the initial ability of each student. The success of differentiated learning implementation is obtained due to the support of good communication and collaboration between both parties, namely the school and parents.

Abstract

Education is a matter of life and living. The whole process in human life and life is the education process itself. Education is so important that Allah sent down the first verse to the Prophet Muhammad SAW, which is an order for humans to read and understand the meaning and purpose of creation, implying the process of divine education (QS 96:1) and basyariah (QS 96:4). This study aims to explore the urgency and paradigm of Islamic education contained in sura al-Alaq; 1-5. The method used in this research is a literature study. The data used were obtained from relevant sources consisting of books, journals and writings. That it is important to read between the lines of this verse, in order to develop basic human potential so that they are able to carry out the mandate to become caliphs on earth and become pious servants. Education that can develop the role of humans as caliph fil ardh is education that refers to the conceptual foundation with the main teachings of aqidah and morals. It is through the basic teachings of aqidah and morals that humans become intelligent, trustworthy, responsible, and have positive values, so they can create a safe and peaceful environment.
