Abstract

Abstract

One of the concrete elements that is very important in efforts to improve the quality of human resources is improving the quality of education. However ini reality, teachers do not develop the creativity to plan, prepare, and create mature teaching materials that are rich in innovation so that they are attractive to students. Most mathematics learning activities only present problems and formulas without paying attention to the concepts embedded. The method of this assistance is delivering material on how to make Mathematics LKPD bsed on the inquiry learning model. In this case, the companion discusses the main things that must be considered before making the LKPD. Namely the objectivies of the learning itself which contains the content of the teaching material in making the LKPD that is linked to mathematics learning which is expected to be understandable for students.

Abstract

Educition is conscious and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process so that students actively develop their potential to have spiritual, religious stength, self-control, personality, intellgence, noble morals and the skills needed by themselves and society. The low learning ability of students in mathematucs lessons is due to a lack of interest and willinness to learn, students towards assistance activity for Citra Bakti Middle School students aims to increase interest and for student in mathematics lessons. Learning assintance for students in mathematics lessons is carried out face to face and is carried out at school every mathematics lesson hour. The method used is direct observation at the Citra Bakti Ngada Primary School. The observation method was chosen to target of this activity and assintance is students of cllas VII Citra Bakti Midlle School. With the prensence of mentoring activities, students interest learn IM. This in learning about integer material increases, students response can be seen from abilities in the process of mentoring activities, students can.

Abstract

Assessment is an essential aspect of the learning process, especially at the early elementary school level. In line with the implementation of the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM), teachers are required to be able to design contextual numeracy assessment instruments that align with students’ cognitive development and integrate HOTS-based approaches as well as local cultural elements. This study aims to describe the process and outcomes of mentoring programs in developing numeracy assessment instruments for early grade elementary school teachers. The method used is qualitative with a literature review approach, supported by findings from various previous mentoring practices. The results show that mentoring through workshops, simulations, gamification, and the use of digital technology can enhance teachers’ ability to create valid, contextual, and formative-aligned numeracy assessment items. Teachers also demonstrated increased understanding of numeracy literacy concepts and were able to produce instruments suitable for both diagnostic and summative assessments. Collaborative and participatory mentoring further strengthened teacher confidence and fostered the formation of professional learning communities. Mentoring is proven to be highly effective in improving the quality of numeracy assessment at the elementary level, both in terms of technical aspects of item development and pedagogical approaches used. It is recommended that mentoring be carried out continuously, with support from educational institutions and competent facilitators, and extended to other literacy domains. In this way, teachers can optimally contribute to achieving the goals of the Pancasila Student Profile and promoting more equitable quality basic education.

Abstract

Mathematics learning, particularly at the junior secondary level, is often perceived as abstract and difficult, which can reduce students’ motivation and engagement. One instructional strategy that has the potential to address this issue is the use of YouTube-based instructional video media. This study aims to describe teachers’ and students’ interpretations of the use of video media in mathematics learning at SMP Negeri Satap 1 Bajawa, as well as to identify the challenges encountered during its implementation. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with mathematics teachers and students, and documentation of learning activities. The data were analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the use of YouTube-based video media positively influences the learning process by increasing students’ motivation, focus, and conceptual understanding of mathematical material. Students perceived video-based learning as more interesting and enjoyable compared to conventional instruction, and they appreciated the ability to replay learning content independently. Teachers reported that video media supported clearer explanations of abstract concepts and improved student engagement. However, several challenges were identified, including limited availability of supporting facilities and the pace of explanations in some videos, which were considered too fast for certain students. Overall, the study concludes that YouTube-based instructional video media have strong potential to support more meaningful and contextual mathematics learning, particularly in schools with limited resources, provided that the content and implementation are adapted to students’ learning needs..
