Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of promotion, service quality, and religiosity on saving decisions at Bank Sinarmas Syariah Sub-Branch Office (KCP) Surabaya. This research is motivated by the establishment of many banking businesses, one of which is sharia banking. The sample was determined by simple random sampling technique of 100 respondents, with the population being customers who have savings at bank Sinarmas Syariah KCP Surabaya of 5,000 customers. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis techniques as the data analysis method. The results showed that promotion, service quality and religiosity had a positive and significant effect on the decision to save at bank Sinarmas Syariah KCP Surabaya. These three factors encourage the decision to save a Muslim student at Sinarmas Syariah Bank. The high promotion, religiosity and quality of service to a Muslim about a sharia bank will increase the person's decision to save at Bank Sinarmas Syariah KCP Surabaya.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh promosi, kualitas layanan, dan religiusistas terhadap keputusan menabung di Bank Sinarmas Syari’ah Kantor Cabang Pembantu (KCP) Surabaya. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi berdirinya banyak usaha perbankan salah satunya adalah perbankan syari’ah. Sampel ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling sejumlah 100 responden, dengan populasinya adalah nasabah yang memiliki tabungan di bank sinarmas syari’ah KCP surabaya sebnayk 5.000 nasabah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda sebagai metode analisis datanya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa promosi, kualitas pelayanan dan religiusitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan untuk menabung di bank sinarmas syari’ah kcp surabaya. Ketiga faktor tersebut mendorong keputusan menabung seorang mahasiswa muslim di bank sinarmas syari’ah. Tingginya promosi, religiusitas dan kualitas pelayanan terhadap seorang muslim tentang bank syari’ah akan meningkatkan keputusan orang tersebut untuk menabung di Bank Sinarmas Syari’ah KCP Surabya.

Abstract

The large number of salt brands on the market means that consumers are faced with many alternative choices during the buying decision process. This study aims to determine the effect of social media marketing, brand image, and gifts on buying decision process for Cap Kapal salt. This type of research is explanatory research which aims to provide an explanation of the position of the observed variable with other variables. This study used a sample of 100 respondents. Sampling in this study used a purposive sampling technique with characteristics including, a minimum age of 18 years, are followers of the Instagram account @garamcapkapal, and have purchased Cap Kapal salt products at least once. Data analysis in this study used the help of the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) data processing application for Windows 26.0 Version. From the results of this study, can be concluded that the variables Social Media Marketing, Brand Image, and Gifts have a significant and positive influence on Buying Decision Process on Cap Kapal salt products.   Abstrak Banyaknya merek garam yang beredar di pasaran membuat konsumen dihadapkan banyak alternatif pilihan saat proses keputusan pembelian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh social media marketing, citra merek, dan pemberian hadiah terhadap proses keputusan pembelian garam Cap Kapal. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksplanatori yang bertujuan untuk memberikan penjelasan posisi atau kedudukan dari variabel yang diamati dengan variabel yang lain. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 100 responden. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan karakteristik usia minimal 18 tahun, merupakan pengikut (followers) akun Instagram @garamcapkapal, dan pernah membeli produk garam Cap Kapal minimal satu kali. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan aplikasi pengolahan data Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) for windows 26.0 Version. Dari hasil pengujian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel Social Media Marketing, Citra Merek, dan Hadiah memiliki pengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap Proses Keputusan Pembelian pada produk garam Cap Kapal.

Abstract

The Housing-Provision Work Unit is an organization established by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing. The organization works at the municipal level under the Directorate General of Housing. This research examines the performance gap between field workers in Gianyar and filed workers in Klungkung. The workers are field facilitators in technical and empowerment department. The objective of this research is to describe the style used by the work unit leaders from both regencies to enhance the effectiveness of the workers’ performance. The primary data of this qualitative descriptive research was harvested from observations and interviews with seven informants; they are field facilitators, assistant to field facilitators, and municipal coordinators, while the secondary data was acquired from relevant documents that help the accomplishment of this study. This research finds that the work unit leaders use participative leadership style. However, in order to improve performance effectiveness, they should apply two leadership styles that suit the real working situation and condition. Here participative and delegative styles need to be applied due to the complexity and the dynamics of the actual work.

Abstract

This research was based on the phenomenon of decreased employee performance at the Hanna Sejahtera Oil Palm Plantation. Intense competition among those engaged in oil palm plantations requires companies to maintain sustainability through employee performance. The purpose of writing this research is to determine the effect of transformational leadership and the work environment on employee performance (a study on Hanna Sejahtera's oil palm plantations). This type of research is explanatory with a quantitative approach. The population of this research is all employees in the research project totaling 300 people. Respondents in this study were taken by random sampling method and amounted to 75 respondents as a sample based on Slovin calculations. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis which has previously been carried out by instrument testing and classical assumption tests. Hypothesis testing is done by using an analysis tool F test and t test. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence of Transformational Leadership and the Work Environment on Employee Performance both simultaneously and partially. This research implies that transformational leadership and a well-implemented work environment can improve employee performance at the Hanna Sejahtera Riau Oil Palm Plantation Company.

Abstract

This study identified the significant influence of motivation, reward and punishment on the performance of Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Malang Regional Office employees. The type of research used in this study is explanatory research which aims to analyze the influence of the independent variables of work motivation, reward and punishment on the dependent variable, namely employee performance at Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Malang Regional Office. The sample used in this study were 126 employees from 183 using saturated sampling technique. This study used multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 27. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The results of the study show that the independent variables have a simultaneous influence on the dependent variable, namely employee performance. Based on the results of the t test, it was found that work motivation, reward and punishment partially had an influence on employee performance. Based on the results of the t test, it was found that work motivation, reward and punishment partially had an influence on employee performance. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that the variables Work Motivation, Reward and Punishment have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance.   Abstrak Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi pengaruh secara signifikan motivasi kerja, reward dan punishment terhadap kinerja karyawan Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Regional Office Malang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah explanatory research yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis adanya pengaruh antara variabel bebas dari motivasi kerja, reward dan punishment terhadap variabel terikat yakni kinerja karyawan pada Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Regional Office Malang. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 126 karyawan dari 183 dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS versi 27. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dengan Skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel bebas memiliki pengaruh secara simultan terhadap variabel terikat yakni Kinerja Karyawan. Berdasarkan pada hasil Uji t didapatkan bahwa Motivasi Kerja, Reward dan Punishment secara parsial memiliki pengaruh terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Berdasarkan pada hasil Uji t didapatkan bahwa Motivasi Kerja, Reward dan Punishment secara parsial memiliki pengaruh terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Hasil analisis regresi linier berganda menunjukkan bahwa variable Motivasi Kerja, Reward dan Punishment memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan.

Abstract

The goal of this quantitative explanatory research is to identify the effects of job satisfaction, compensation, and subjective well-being on teacher’s performance. This study was conducted at the Public Senior High School 2 of Amlapura using multiple linear regression analysis performed in SPSS 26 in order to explain the relationship between the three independent variable on the dependent variable. The stages in this study are instrument test, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing. The instrument test consists of validity and reliability testing, while the classical assumption test consists of multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and linearity tests, and the hypothesis testing consists of F test and t test. The research population is teachers of Public Senior High School 2 of Amlapura; using saturated sampling, all 58 of them were selected as the respondents. The data was harvested through Likert-scaled questionnaires. This study finds that job satisfaction significantly influences the teacher’s performance, that compensation significantly affects the teacher’s performance, and that subjective well-being also significantly impacts the teacher’s performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work conflict and work environment on employee job satisfaction (study on employees of PT. PLN Nusantara Power UP Brantas). The population in this study on employees of of PT. PLN Nusantara Power UP Brantas. The samples taken by researchers in this study were 60 respondents with a sampling technique using probability sampling techniques. The analytical tools used in this research are validity test, reliability test, F test, coefficient of determination (R2), multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing (t test). The results of this study indicate that Motivation as a positive and significant effect on Performance, Environment as a positive and significant effect on Performance.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan (studi pada karyawan PT. PLN Nusantara Power UP Brantas). Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu karyawan PT. PLN Nusantara Power UP Brantas. Sampel yang diambil peneliti dalam penelitian ini yaitu sejumlah 60 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik proporsional random sampling. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data primer, dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrument penelitian. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji F, koefisien determinasi (R2), regresi linear berganda, dan uji hipotesis (uji t). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Organisational development is faced with a very dynamic industrial environment such as globalization, rapid increase and development of market and customer needs and demands, digitalisation in every aspect and unexpected events that greatly impact the company. One of the abilities that must be possessed by business actors is entrepreneurial leadership. For the problems faced, some of the solutions offered by the Service Team include changing the mindset of business actors by providing insight or understanding of entrepreneurial values so as to build awareness of the importance of marketing aspects in developing a business. The implementation method is carried out through training activities for small and medium enterprises in Malang City. Entrepreneurial Leadership Training is a program specifically designed to guide and equip participants with the skills, knowledge, and mentality needed to become successful and innovative leaders in the business world. Based on the data obtained from the questionnaire, it shows that the training organisers provide a valuable platform to explore participants' views, thoughts and experiences related to the training they have attended. Through group discussions, participants share knowledge with conveys information, understanding, or experience they have to other people or other groups with the aim of providing benefits and expanding mutual understanding. Future research is expected to include a larger sample to get a broader picture. In addition, it can compare the results of various trainings in order to provide insight into the most effective way to improve the skills of small and medium business actors.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the largest industries that create jobs and grow the community's economy. Facing increasingly fierce competition, improving business performance is one way that tourism industry players can do. Entrepreneurial leadership behavior, with a combination of flexibility, the ability to increase creativity, and the ability to deal with vulnerable market situations to maintain an organization’s competitive advantage, is one of the essential factors that determine the level of business performance of a company. This study analyzed a sample of 215 individual tourist attraction leaders in East Java Province using SEM-PLS. The results showed that entrepreneurial leadership affects tourism business performance, and entrepreneurial orientation shows the same. Entrepreneurial Orientation can also act as a mediating variable in this study, but Government Support offers results that do not moderate the effect of entrepreneurial leadership on tourism business performance. This research can be the basis for further study and be a concern for business people in increasing Entrepreneurial Leadership to improve their business.

Abstract

Research Aims: This study aims to analyse the effect of ethical leadership (EL) on pro-enviromental behaviour (PEB). In addition, this study also examines the mediating role of organisational commitment and green work climate (GWC) in determining this relationship. This research was conducted on permanent employees in Batu City Government Design/methodology/approach: The collected data were analysed using PLS analysis. EL positively and significantly influences PEB. In addition, organisational commitment plays a role in mediating the relationship between EL and PEB. Similarly, the analysis shows that GWC mediates the relationship between EL and PEB. This study is novel in that it analyses public service workers, whereas previous studies have focused on manufacturing companies or other institutions. Research Findings/Contribution: Leaders who have ethical values are likely to optimise employees to adopt PEB. Institutions should focus on maintaining organisational commitment and a GWC that supports sustainability so that it can be key in facilitating the influence of EL on PEB.
