Abstract

This service activity aims to improve students' mathematical abilities in learning mathematics through training on the use of orange peel media in realistic mathematics learning. Technically, the implementation of the designed training activities is as follows: 1) Planning. At this stage, the team identified problems that occurred by observing the school and interviewing students directly. This aims to find out students' opinions and the obstacles they face while participating in class learning. From the results of these interviews, the team concluded that the topic of discussion that many students had problems with was the concept of building space. 2) Preparation. The team held discussions with teachers at the service site to determine the subjects involved and confirm the prerequisite material. Apart from that, tasks are distributed to teams so that learning can run optimally and be enjoyable. 3) Implementation. The implementation of the service was welcomed by the Principal and Mathematics Teachers. Mathematics teachers are also involved in guiding students using orange peel media when the service is carried out. 4) Evaluation and Reporting. At this stage, the team carries out an evaluation after the service activities are completed and compiles them into a service report for publication.

Abstract

Tujuan dan maksud dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu peserta didik dalam memahami dan meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis. Jenis dari penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research & Development yang dikembangkan oleh Sugiyono. Dalam penelitian ini, model pengembangan multimedia interaktif berbasis android yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas 8 di MTs Unggulan Al Munawwaroh dan objek yang diteliti adalah pengembangan multimedia interaktif berbasis andorid. Penelitian pengembangan multimedia interaktif berbasis android ini melalui proses uji validitas. Hasil uji validitas ahli materi menunjukkan persentase 90%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal terkait integral lipat dua. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif. Jumlah subjek sebanyak 12 orang mahasiswa mengambil mata kuliah kalkulus integral. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan test tertulis dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil test dan dokumentasi hasil penyelesaian soal integral lipat dua dianalisis berdasarkan indikator pemahaman konsep serta diselaraskan dengan hasil display data. Hasil analisis kesalahan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa sesuai dengan indikator pemahaman konsep yakni (1) Menyatakan ulang konsep integral lipat dua. Mengenai indikator ini, mahasiswa belum memahami dengan baik klasifikasi dari variable x dan y sebagai integran. Ketika menentukan batas atas dan bawah dari variable x dan y mahasiswa masih belum tepat. (2) Memberikan contoh dan non-contoh soal integral lipat dua. Mengenai indikator ini, mahasiswa masih mengalami kesulitan menyelesaikan soal ketika bentuk soal berbeda dengan contoh yang telah diberikan, sehingga mahasiswa masih banyak melakukan kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal, maka perlu melakukan latihan soal untuk meminimalkan kesalahan. (3) Memilih dan menggunakan prosedur yang sesuai. Kesalahan sering terjadi karena kurangnya pemahaman konsep batas integrasi, urutan integrasi, dan (4) Menggunakan konsep dan memilih algoritma menyelesaian masalah. Kesalahan mahasiswa dalam memilih dan menggunakan prosedur untuk menentukan fungsi yang akan diitegralkan dilatarbelakangi kurangnya pengetahuan awal mahasiswa mengenai integral dan diferensial.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low understanding of the concept of flat building and mathematical communication skills of elementary school students which are still abstract and have not been supported by innovative and technology-based learning tools. The integration of the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework with the use of Canva's digital media is a solution to create more visual, interactive, and meaningful learning. This research aims to develop a Canva-based teaching module that is integrated with TPACK and test its validity, practicality, and effectiveness in improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts and communication skills. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D model which includes the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The product developed is a Canva-based digital teaching module designed by systematically integrating content, pedagogy, and technology aspects. The research subjects were elementary school grade V students involving validators who were experts in material, media, and language. The research instruments include validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, concept comprehension tests, and mathematical communication skills tests. The results of the study show that the teaching modules developed are in the category of being very valid, practical, and effective in improving student learning outcomes. This is shown by a significant improvement in students' understanding of concepts and mathematical communication skills based on N- Gain analysis with medium to high categories. These findings indicate that Canva-based teaching modules within the TPACK framework are able to transform flat-wake learning to be more engaging, contextual, and student-centered.
