Abstract

The aims of this research are to understand the increasing of cognitive learning outcomes of students, to build the science process skills of students, to form the character of students, to improve the activities of students and to build the positive attitudes of students that use tutorial ICT media as the experimental complement in measuriment learning.The research has been done in the first semester of academic year 2013/2014 in SMP negeri 1 Seputih Surabaya, Central Lampung. The population of the research was the students of the VII class and the sample of the research was VII C. This research used random sampling technique to choose the sample . The result was able to increase the cognitive learning outcome of students, built the science process skills of students, form the character of students, improve the activities of students and to built the positive attitudes of students.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif, menumbuhkan KPS, membentuk karakter, mengembangkan aktivitas, dan menumbuhkan sikap siswa terhadap pemanfaatan media TIK tutorial sebagai komplemen eksperimen pada pembelajaran alat ukur. Penelitian berlangsung pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2013/2014 di SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Surabaya Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Sampel yang diambil yaitu kelas VIIC. Pemilihan kelas secara random. Hasil penelitian yaitu terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa, dapat menumbuhkan KPS siswa, dapat membentuk karakter siswa, dapat mengembangkan aktivitas siswa, dan dapat menumbuhkan sikap positif siswa.Kata kunci: aktivitas siswa, karakter, keterampilan proses sains siswa, media tik tutorial, sikap siswa

Abstract

The role of film as one of the effective educational media is fundamental, especially in promoting awareness of the early symptoms of Alzheimer's disease. In Indonesia, there have not been many productions that specifically aim to escalate knowledge and awareness of Alzheimer's disease. The purpose of this activity was to increase public awareness of dementia and Alzheimer's, promote prevention and dementia risk reduction, produce short films on dementia and Alzheimer's with Indonesian cultural background as well as encouraging people toward elderly-friendly behavior. The event was held as a collaboration between FKIK Unika Atma Jaya, Alzheimer's Indonesia, and Eagle Institute titled Remember Me Film Festival (RMFF). In disseminating the information, The RMFF activities were publicized via YouTube and mass media. The aims of this study was to discuss the Remember Me Film Festival (RMFF) meetings as part of the tridharma institutions (community service), evaluation of benefits to the community, and qualitative assessment of the contents of dementia research for viewers on social media (YouTube) at three time points of observation (1 year after being downloaded on YouTube). The results of RMFF revealed that for each point of observation there was an increase in the number of views from September 2017 to October 2018. The RMFF activity can thus be employed as a model of increasing health promotion using digital/online platform for the younger generation.

Abstract

Language acquisition and development is a fundamental process in human life that begins in infancy and continues to develop throughout life. This study aims to analyze the stages of language acquisition, influencing factors, and theoretical perspectives that explain language development. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach through literature studies. The results of the study indicate that language acquisition occurs naturally and systematically, influenced by biological, cognitive, and environmental factors. Several theories explain this process, including behaviorism, nativism, cognitivism, and interactionism. This study also highlights the importance of social interaction and stimulation in optimizing language development. This study can be recommended for educators, psychologists, and speech therapists to have an understanding and language acquisition to design effective learning strategies and as effective interventions for individuals with language delays in children.
