Abstract

K3 adalah singkatan dari Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja. Istilah ini merujuk pada rangkaian kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh suatu organisasi atau perusahaan untuk memastikan bahwa lingkungan kerjasanya aman dan sehat bagi pekerjanya. K3 mencakup berbagai aspek, termasuk pengelolaan risiko, identifikasi bahaya, pencegahan kecelakaan dan cedera, kesehatan kerja, pengendalian bahaya lingkungan. Upaya K3 sangat penting dilakukan dalam setiap organisasi, karena pekerjaan yang dilakukan dapat membawa risiko yang serius bagi karyawan dan lingkungan sekitar jika tidak ditangani dengan benar. Saat ini kebutuhan karyawan ahli K3 Umum sangat tinggi apalagi yang telah sertifikasi ahli K3 Umum dan yang memiliki sertifikat ahli K3 Umum maka secara nilai akan naik seacra signifikan. Banyak posisi yang membutuhkan keahlian K3 Umum misalnya Safety Office, HSE Officer, Safety Inspector, Process Safety, Fire Safety, Environmental Specialis, Safety Advisor, dan masih banyak posisi lainnya. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi dan pelatihan berupa workshop secara daring untuk membentuk keterampilan dan memberikan pemahaman tentang K3 pada para pekerja professional sekaligus sebagai persiapan untuk mengikuti sertifikasi Ahli K3 Umum baik di Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (BNSP) ataupun di Kementrian Tenaga Kerja (Kemenaker). Target luaran pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu satu artikel yang terbit pada media elektronik, video kegiatan dan meningkatkan keberdayaan mitra yaitu terciptanya para pekerja yang profesional dan berkompeten pada bidang ahli K3 khususnya.

Abstract

Lecturers are professionals in charge of planning and implementing the learning process, assessing results, conducting guidance and training as well as conducting research and community service. To achieve this performance, lecturers must be managed by higher education managers through the implementation of effective and efficient quality management in order to achieve the goals set by the institution. Professional lecturers at the Jakarta High School of Shipping Science are lecturers who come from practitioners, namely seafarers. To align the competence of academic lecturers with practitioners, it is necessary to carry out an improvement strategy that refers to policies and the need for increasing lecturer competence. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The sample used was taken based on purposive sampling technique. The findings and analysis show that the Maritime College as one of the maritime schools owned by the state has an adaptive competency improvement strategy in aligning the need for increasing lecturer competence based on the background of lecturers who come from seafarers and the need for adjustment of prospective lecturers to the requirements of lecturers according to legislation. applicable.

Abstract

To support the process of teaching and learning activities in the vocational field, one of the learning processes is carried out at the SMK level. Every student who graduates from vocational school, as well as students from SMK 1 Barunawati, is required to have skills and be ready to work because vocational school graduates are usually not recognized by the business/industry world. Therefore, a Dual System Education (PSG) program was held, namely by implementing Industrial Work Practices (PRAKERIN) so that every vocational school graduate student has experience in the business world before entering the business world for real after graduating from school. In accordance with the results of observations and research from the Directorate of Vocational Secondary Education, the pattern of implementation at Vocational Schools has not clearly been able to produce graduates as expected. This can be seen from the learning conditions which are not yet conducive to producing professional workers, because a person's professional skills are not solely measured by mastery of knowledge elements and work techniques, but must be complemented by mastery of good work skills. There are two parties, namely educational institutions and employment opportunities (industry/companies or certain agencies) which jointly organize a vocational skills program. Thus both parties should be involved and responsible.
