Abstract

Quarter Life Crisis is a new term related to the stages of human socio-emotional development. Approaching the age of 25, individuals usually have to face new life situations such as work and marital status, as well as changes in mindset that are more mature from adolescence to adulthood. This situation also makes individuals at the peak of self-maturity, when entering the age of 25, question their own lives, doubt their own choices, feel confused about the things they are living, and begin to recall the past. The type of research used for this research is qualitative with interview techniques. The primary data source is in the form of interviews regarding their understanding of the quarter life crisis. Our secondary data sources are information from journals or other internet sources. Abstract

The Neno Bo'ha tradition is a tradition carried out for 40 days by mothers after giving birth. This tradition in East Nusa Tenggara has been proven to be one that influences the prevalence of the condition of mothers and toddlers. The Neno Bo'ha tradition carried out by mothers after giving birth tends to not pay attention to personal and baby hygiene and consumes high levels of carbohydrates but low levels of protein, thus having an impact on post partum cleanliness and sanitation around the baby. This tradition increases the high number of infections or malaria in East Nusa Tenggara, which according to the Central Statistics Agency is already high. This qualitative research using the literature study method was carried out with the aim of finding more incidents of the impact of this tradition so as to obtain results of the urgency of replacing the Neno Bo'ha tradition on the health and hygiene of postnatal mothers and babies. Solutions that can be implemented include approaching community leaders, providing education to local communities, involving local health workers to work together, both in education and treatment, and creating replacement innovations without eliminating the basic values of these traditions.

Abstract

Abstract

The growing incidence of overweight and obesity in young adults has been closely associated with unhealthy lifestyle habits, particularly the high intake of sugar-sweetened beverages (SSBs) and low levels of physical activity. College students are especially at risk due to lifestyle changes that occur during their university experience. This research aims to investigate the SSB consumption patterns, physical activity levels, and their correlation with Body Mass Index (BMI) among university students in Malang City. A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out with 382 active students chosen through accidental sampling. Data were obtained using an online questionnaire shared through student networks and social media platforms. The results indicated that 73.8% of participants expressed a preference for SSBs, with bottled tea being the most commonly consumed, primarily bought from minimarkets. While 63.4 percent of students reported exercising 1 until 2 times a week, 68.1 percent participated in low-intensity activities, and 43.7 percent worked out for less than 30 minutes. A strong correlation was identified between SSB consumption and BMI (p is 0.882, 2-tailed), while physical activity showed a weak and non-significant association (p is 0.128). The need for targeted health promotion programs aimed at reducing SSB intake and encouraging students to engage in more efficient physical activity routines is highlighted by these results.
