Abstract

Social media has become a crucial platform for Generation Z to stay updated on the latest trends and access information. The influence of influencers and celebrities on social media often encourages Generation Z to participate in these trends, even if it means compromising their financial stability. This study aimed to investigate the extent to which the fear of missing out (FoMO) affects Generation Z's financial well-being. Using a quantitative approach and comparative causal research method, 101 Generation Z respondents were involved in the study. The analysis revealed that FoMO has a significant impact on Generation Z's financial health, including the use of debt to keep up with the latest trends, which can ultimately lead to serious financial problems. The results showed that the fear of missing out on social media significantly contributes to the financial health of Generation Z, with a regression equation of Y = 39.220 - 0.572 X and a significance value (p) of 0.000 (less than 0.05), indicating that the hypothesis is accepted. In other words, the fear of missing out on social media has a significant negative impact on the financial health of Generation Z, accounting for 48.3% of the financial health of Generation Z

Abstract

"Blue Ocean Leadership" is a strategic approach that aims to create a new market that is free from competitors by focusing on innovation and value creation. In the context of increasingly competitive businesses, many organizations are trapped in a "sea of red," where fierce competition leads to declining profit margins. This concept invites leaders to move to the "blue ocean," which is an unexplored market space where demand can be created rather than simply shared. Through visionary and creative leadership, leaders can encourage teams to identify new opportunities, design unique products or services, and deliver unparalleled customer experiences. Leadership in the context of Blue Ocean also involves developing an organizational culture that supports innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. By empowering employees to think outside conventional boundaries, organizations can find solutions that not only meet customer needs but also create greater value. This approach is not only financially profitable, but it also contributes to the company's long-term sustainability in the face of market changes. Overall, Blue Ocean Leadership offers a relevant framework for leaders to design effective strategies in creating new markets that are sustainable and free from competitors.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including the dissemination of Islamic preaching. Social media and digital platforms have become the primary sources for young people to access Islamic information, whether from credible sources or unreliable ones. On one hand, digital preaching presents a great opportunity to convey Islamic teachings in a more creative and innovative way through various platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and podcasts. However, on the other hand, challenges also arise, such as the spread of inaccurate information and difficulties in distinguishing valid sources. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to understand the experiences of young people in accessing digital preaching and how they maintain their Islamic identity in the digital era. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with Muslim youth who actively engage with digital preaching, as well as literature reviews of various related studies. The findings indicate that digital preaching has a positive impact on enhancing young people’s understanding of Islam, particularly when presented in a manner that aligns with their characteristics. However, challenges remain in filtering accurate information and dealing with the broader influence of the digital world. This article discusses the effectiveness of digital preaching in shaping the Islamic identity of young people, the challenges involved, and the strategies that can be applied to make preaching more relevant and effective in guiding the younger Muslim generation. This study is expected to contribute to the development of more adaptive preaching strategies in the digital era.

Abstract

This research aims to empower the community of Sukmajaya Village Rt.5/Rw.5 through training in the production of organic fertilizer from kitchen waste. This training is expected to increase the knowledge, skills, and environmental awareness of the community in managing kitchen waste productively. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach, where data is collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results show that the training successfully improved the community's knowledge and skills in processing kitchen waste into organic fertilizer. The application of organic fertilizer to agricultural land had a positive impact on soil fertility and crop yields. Additionally, this training successfully increased environmental awareness and opened new economic opportunities for the community. However, challenges such as limited composting facilities and the need for ongoing assistance remain obstacles to the optimal implementation of this program. This research suggests continued support, infrastructure development, and market access to strengthen the positive impacts of this program in the future.
