Abstract

This research aims to analyze: 1) The partial and simultaneous influence of organizational commitment, leadership and organizational culture on employee performance, 2) The most dominant variables that influence employee performance at BPKAD West Papua Province. The population of this study was 48 people. The sample was determined using a saturated sampling technique so that the entire population was sampled. Data collection uses questionnaires and documents, data analysis uses multiple linear regression. The research results show that: 1) Organizational Commitment, leadership and organizational culture have a partially positive and significant effect on employee performance, 2) Organizational commitment, leadership and organizational culture have a simultaneous positive and significant effect on employee performance, 3) Leadership is the most dominant variable influence on employee performance at BNPKAD West Papua Province. 4) The coefficient of determination results show a value of 89.8%, meaning that employee performance variables can be explained by the variables Organizational Commitment, Leadership and Organizational Culture, while the remaining 10.2% is explained by other variables outside the model.

Abstract

The development of e-commerce transactions also provides opportunities and challenges for consumers. The opportunity for consumers is that they can easily and quickly get the goods or services they need. However, the challenge for consumers is the risk of fraud or violation of consumer rights in e-commerce transactions. The aim of this research is to determine legal protection regulations and their implementation for consumers in e-commerce transactions in Indonesia. This research uses legal research methods with a normative juridical approach. The data collection technique in this research is literature study. The data that has been collected is then analyzed qualitatively by understanding and interpreting the data in depth. The research results show that aspects of legal protection for consumers in buying and selling transactions via electronic media are regulated in several laws, namely Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection, Law Number 7 of 2014 concerning Trade, and Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Changes. Implementation of this Law is carried out through several steps, including the establishment of special regulations detailing consumer rights and obligations in electronic transactions. Apart from that, implementation also involves active law enforcement to deal with violations of consumer protection provisions as well as efforts to increase consumer awareness through various education and information programs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan pinjaman online terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa penerima KIP-Kuliah di Program Studi S1 Manajemen Universitas Caritas Indonesia. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada meningkatnya akses pinjaman berbasis fintech di kalangan mahasiswa yang berdampak pada tekanan keuangan dan menurunnya capaian akademik. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei, melibatkan 50 responden yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner berbasis skala Likert dan dianalisis dengan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pinjaman online memiliki pengaruh negatif yang signifikan terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa, dengan koefisien regresi sebesar -0,65 (p=0,000) dan koefisien korelasi -0,76 yang menunjukkan hubungan negatif yang kuat. Rata-rata IPK mahasiswa pengguna pinjaman online adalah 2,9, jauh di bawah standar capaian akademik ideal. Tekanan finansial dari cicilan pinjaman menyebabkan meningkatnya stres, pengalihan waktu belajar ke aktivitas kerja, dan penurunan fokus akademik. Selain itu, rendahnya literasi keuangan ditemukan sebagai faktor moderator yang memperparah dampak penggunaan pinjaman online, di mana 68% mahasiswa tidak memahami struktur bunga dan risiko hukum. Temuan ini memperkuat pentingnya edukasi literasi keuangan dan perlunya kebijakan preventif dari universitas dan pemerintah dalam memberikan alternatif pembiayaan pendidikan yang lebih sehat. Kesimpulannya, pinjaman online berdampak negatif terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa, terutama bagi mereka yang kurang memiliki kemampuan pengelolaan keuangan yang baik.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Risk Management Mediation and Network Capabilities, the relationship with Human Capital, Dynamic Capabilities and Business Performance in SOE Banking in Manokwari, West Papua Province. The sample of this study is  206 respondents from state-owned banking employees in Manokwari, West Papua. The research data was obtained from filling out questionnaires and analyzed using SEM-AMOS analysis. The results of the study showed: (1) Human capital and dynamic ability have a positive and significant effect on risk management and network capability; (2) Human capital does not have a significant effect on business performance; (3) Dynamic capabilities have a significant effect on business performance; (4) Risk management and network capabilities have a significant effect on business performance; 5) Human capital does not have a significant effect on business performance through risk management; (6) Human capital and dynamic capabilities have a significant effect on business performance through network capabilities.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in strengthening Indonesia’s economic foundation, particularly in West Papua, which is experiencing rapid regional growth. One of the local food-based MSMEs contributing to this development is Keripik Keladi Bintang Timur Enterprise located in Manokwari Regency. However, the business faces challenges in accurately determining production costs because it still applies a traditional volume-based costing method that does not reflect the real consumption of production activities. This study aims to analyze the determination of production costs using the Activity-Based Costing (ABC) system to produce more accurate and reliable cost information. A quantitative descriptive approach was applied using primary data obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation from January to June 2025. The main production activities identified include raw material preparation, frying, packaging, and distribution, each with distinct cost drivers. The analysis revealed that the total monthly production cost amounted to Rp7,250,000, with a unit cost of Rp36,250 under the traditional method and Rp34,750 under the ABC method. The difference of Rp1,500 per unit indicates that the ABC method provides more precise cost allocation based on actual resource consumption. The study also found that raw material preparation and frying activities account for more than 60% of the total cost, suggesting that efficiency improvements should focus on these stages. Overall, the ABC method proves to be a relevant and adaptive approach for MSMEs, enhancing cost transparency and supporting rational pricing decisions for local food-based enterprises.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of perceived ease of use, trust and security, convenience and accessibility, and social and digital trends on digital banking adoption among millennials in Manokwari City. The research employed a quantitative descriptive-associative method with multiple linear regression analysis. Data were collected from 150 millennial respondents with digital banking experience using purposive sampling through Likert-scale questionnaires. Results indicate that: (1) perceived ease of use has a positive and significant effect on digital banking adoption (β=0.312; t=4.872; sig=0.000); (2) trust and security has a positive and significant effect (β=0.287; t=4.231; sig=0.000); (3) convenience and accessibility has a positive and significant effect (β=0.198; t=2.876; sig=0.005); (4) social and digital trends has a positive and significant effect (β=0.143; t=2.184; sig=0.031). Simultaneously, all four variables significantly affect digital banking adoption (F=73.842; sig=0.000), with R²=0.672, meaning 67.2% of the variation in digital banking adoption is explained by these variables. Perceived ease of use is the most dominant variable. This research underscores the importance of improving interface usability, strengthening security systems, and enhancing digital literacy to promote broader digital banking adoption in West Papua.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of digital ASN performance application usage on employee productivity at the Department of Public Housing, Settlement Area and Environment of Pegunungan Arfak Regency. The research method used a quantitative approach with simple linear regression analysis. Data were collected from 67 respondents using Total Sampling technique through Likert-scale questionnaires. The results show that digital ASN performance application usage has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity, with a regression coefficient of 0.673, t-value of 10.398 (t-table = 1.997), and significance of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.624 indicates that 62.4% of the variation in employee productivity can be explained by digital performance application usage, while the remainder is influenced by other factors. Implications for policymakers include the need for improved digital literacy, continuous training, and strengthened technological infrastructure to ensure optimal implementation of digital performance applications and meaningful improvements in ASN productivity.
