Abstract

English was realized as one of the international languages, especially in 5.0. Mastering English was not a new thing. It has been a common competency nowadays. That is why all the young generation must know about English. There were children in Indonesia who still do not know and notice the significance of English. It was seen through a survey in Desa Klambir Lima Kebun that the children living there acted as the objects of this community service. Furthermore, this was focused on improving their English achievement through a program named Bengkel Inggris. In this program, the students were distinguished based on their background in English whether basic or middle. Then, they followed the class based on their background. After that, there is a sharing session special for the children. The meeting was done once a week for two months. As a result, there were many improvements gathered from this program not only a better achievement in English score but also a better motivation for learning English. It concluded that improving English achievement through the Bengkel Inggris Program for Children in Klambir Lima Kebun Village succeeded to be done.

Abstract

Land cover is a physical feature of the earth that illustrates the relationship between natural processes and social processes. Over time, there has been a lot of land conversion, where initially open land is now built-up land. This is due to the large-scale development in Banda Aceh City. Therefore, this study aims to compare the performance of two classification methods, namely using Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Random Forest in identifying land cover in Banda Aceh City using Sentinel-2A imagery via the Google Earth Engine platform. As for data recording, it starts from January 1 to December 31, 2023. There are 4 classes used in this study, namely vegetation, water bodies, built-up land, and open land. The classification results show that the Support Vector Machine and Random Forest methods have been successfully applied to identifying land cover in Banda Aceh City using Sentinel-2A imagery. The accuracy results show that the Support Vector Machine method has a higher accuracy value of 90.5% compared to the Random Forest method of 85.7%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji bagaimana   Motivasi Kerjai dan Disiplin Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT. Optima Lautan Bersama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan sample 40 orang resp. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan membagikan kuesioner. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan SPSS Versi 26.0. Hasil analisis kuantitatif menunjukkan Motivasi kerja secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, hal ini dibuktikan dari nilai thitung 3,035 > ttabel 1,685 dan signifikan 0,004 < 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis (H1) pada penelitian ini diterima. Disiplin Kerja secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan  PT. Optima Lautan Bersama, hal ini dibuktikan dari nilai thitung 2,182 > ttabel 1,685 dan signifikan 0,035 < 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis (H2) pada penelitian ini diterima, pada penelitian ini diterima. Motivasi Kerja dan Disiplin  Kerja secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan PT. Optima Lautan Bersama, hal ini dibuktikan dari nilai Fhitung 6,896 > Ftabel 2,64 dan signifikan 0,003 < 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis (H4) pada penelitian ini diterima.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, personality, and environment on employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. This study involved a sample of 141 employees at the Directorate of Trade Order, Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach, with primary data through questionnaires distributed to respondents, with a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5. The analysis tool uses a path analysis model with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS-20 software (Analysis of Moment Structure). The research findings indicate that leadership, personality, and environment have a positive and significant effect on employee satisfaction and performance at the Directorate of Trade Order, Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia. Satisfaction partially mediates the influence of leadership, personality, and environment on employee performance at the Directorate of Trade Order, Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

The study aims to determine whether work ability, work discipline and work motivation partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant impact on employee work performance at the Office of the National Unity and Politics Agency of North Sumatra Province. The sample was 54 respondents, The results of the study showed that ability had a positive and significant impact on employee work performance at the Office of the National Unity and Politics Agency of North Sumatra Province. Tested and acceptable based on the t-value of the work ability variable (X1) is 2.274 and the t-table value is 2.008, then t-count> t-table (2.274> 2.008) and the Sig. value <0.05 The magnitude of the impact of ability (X1) on work performance (Y) is 0.025, Discipline has a positive and significant impact on employee work performance at the Office of the National Unity and Politics Agency of North Sumatra Province. Tested and acceptable based on the t-value of the discipline variable (X2) is 8.527 and the t-table value is 2.008, then t-count> t-table (8.527> 2.008) and the Sig. value <0.05 The magnitude of the impact of discipline (X2) on work performance (Y) is 0.686, Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee work performance at the Office of the National Unity and Politics Agency of North Sumatra Province. Tested and acceptable based on the t-value of the work motivation variable (X3) is 2.939 and the t-table value is 2.008, then t-count> t-table (2.939> 2.008) and the Sig. value <0.05. The magnitude of the impact of work motivation (X3) on work performance (Y) is 0.211 Ability, discipline and work motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant impact on employee work performance at the Office of the National Unity and Politics Agency of North Sumatra Province. Tested and acceptable based on the F count value of 75.124 with a significance level of 0.000, greater than the F table value with a significance level of 95% (α = 0.05).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze HR Competency and Workload on Employee Performance through Organizational Commitment to the Employee Scope of the Village Community Empowerment Office in Langkat Regency. The data analysis technique used is associative research with the help of the SPSS program. This study uses path analysis. The sample in this study was 82 respondents. Primary data collection uses questionnaires. The results of the study show that (1) the human resource competency variable has a direct insignificant influence on organizational commitment, and a significant direct influence on employee performance, as well as a significant indirect influence on employee performance through organizational commitment in the Village Community Empowerment Office in Langkat Regency. (2) The workload variable has a significant direct influence on organizational commitment, and an insignificant direct influence on employee performance, as well as a direct and significant influence on employee performance through organizational commitment to the Village Community Empowerment Office in Langkat Regency. (3) The variable of organizational commitment has a significant direct influence on the performance of employees at the Village Community Empowerment Office in Langkat Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between work discipline, organizational commitment, employee performance, and work motivation with work motivation as an intervening variable at Panca Budi Medan Development University. The results showed that work discipline had a significant positive influence on employee performance (O = 0.818, T-statistics = 5.953, P-value = 0.000) but not significantly on work motivation (O = 0.353, T-statistics = 1.235, P-value = 0.217). Employee performance had a significant positive effect on work motivation (O = 0.73, T-statistics = 2.804, P-value = 0.005). On the other hand, organizational commitment did not have a significant effect on employee performance (O = 0.152, T-statistics = 1.124, P-value = 0.261) or work motivation (O = -0.174, T-statistics = 0.967, P-value = 0.443). Work motivation was proven to be a significant mediator in the relationship between organizational commitment and employee performance (O = 0.597, T-statistics = 2.521, P-value = 0.012). This research highlights the importance of work discipline and motivation as a liaison in improving employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how Compensation and Work Environment Affect Employee Performance at PT. Empowerment of Saka Mandiri Medan. This study uses a quantitative method with a sample of 40 people. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The data obtained was analyzed using SPSS Version 25.0. The results of the quantitative analysis showed that Compensation partially had a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, this was evidenced by the calculated value of 3.933 > ttable 1.685 and significant 0.00 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that the hypothesis (H1) in this study is accepted. The Work Environment partially has a positive and significant effect on the Employee Performance of PT. The empowerment of Saka Mandiri Medan, this is evidenced by the tcount value of 2.759 > ttable 1.685 and significant 0.009 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that the hypothesis (H2) in this study is accepted, in this study it is accepted. Compensation and Work Environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the Employee Performance of PT. The empowerment of Saka Mandiri Medan, this is evidenced by the value of Fcal 13.906 > Ftable 2.64 and significant 0.000 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that the hypothesis (H4) in this study is accepted.
